1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Lessons from crypto in 2018 on: December 10, 2018, 11:29:57 AM
What valuable lesson(s) have you learnt from the crypto space in 2018 and how is it going to shape your involvement in the space going forward? Looking forward to your responses, hoping one or two persons learn a thing or two from them.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Pity for those who bought at ATH on: December 07, 2018, 11:05:04 AM
The crypto world at the moment is one filled with so many levels of emotion and reactions to varying degrees of loses experienced by people. While some people are sobbing about their little loses, we should also reflect on the fact there are people who bought BTC @ $20K, Ripple @ $3, ADA @ $1.22, etc. Most of these guys are still hodling, hoping the market will bounce back and they'll recoup their loses.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / BTC and the hopes of a price surge on: November 13, 2018, 10:19:39 PM
The market seems to be in state of limbo right now, with a plunge in the stocks market, the crypto market isn't spared either. All hopes of a bull run in 2018 seem to be fading away and if there'll be a surge ever this year, it may just not surpass $8k and that being the highest till year end. What's your take?
4  Economy / Scam Accusations / MapleChangeEx Exit Scam on: October 28, 2018, 10:54:01 PM
MapleChangeEx has exit scammed. They posted this tweeted on their page to announce the so-called hack

After a barrage of messages on threats, they've done a set of follow up tweets including this

It's unfortunate how people keep losing money to these fraudsters and it goes to show how long before cryptos get mainstream adoption. Being a Canadian exchange, I'm hoping the laws of the land will be able to bring them to justice and all legitimate user of their exchange are refunded.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Gochain price speculation on: October 26, 2018, 09:47:53 PM
Anyone looking at GoChain (GO)? It's done over 15% today already and it's not stopping. Got it in around 998 sats and exited at 1201 earlier today. Checking it some minutes ago, I see it dipped in the course of the day and it's back trading at 1235 sats. TA experts, what's the target for this coin please?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Need For An ICOs Tracker on: October 04, 2018, 10:43:51 PM
The crypto space is getting if not already saturated with so many projects and ICOs without any distinctive differences. Some are just mere copies of another. One surest way to find out is running some parts of the texts on their whitepaper on some of these plagiarism sites. It gets to show exactly which project they copied.

I'm hoping that there'll be in the nearest future some tracker for ICOs and their copies as this will help investors not to waste their time on such 'projects'. Is this possible?

8  Other / Off-topic / WORRY NOT on: August 12, 2018, 10:21:38 PM
As a young man, I've found myself a few times drowning myself in worries of things I've not been able to achieve and do, and things I've done halfway with reaching a conclusive end. I've come to realize that worrying hasn't about them hasn't solved any of those problem, it has instead caused me high blood pressure, constant headaches and other health problems. I've since stoppped worrying about the things I have no control over and I'll advise anyone still indulging in it to desist from it.
9  Other / Off-topic / Can Embassies be sued? on: July 25, 2018, 02:34:57 PM
I'm Nigerian and some African countries require visas on arrival while others require that you apply and be granted visas before leaving your country. It's pathetic how a particular country's embassy denied a friend visa's application within minutes and there was no cogent reason given for the refusal. It looked to me like a scam, as the response rate was too quick.

Please tell me, can they be sued for this, despite submitting all the required documentations??
