2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Bitcoin taking up 5.6gb on my computer on: December 21, 2012, 10:40:10 PM
In the C:\Users\Matthew\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin folder it's taking up 5.6gb

Is it ok to send all my coins to MtGox then delete this folder and keep mining?

I'm low on space (It's an SSD drive so 5.6gb is big to me)

Thanks and Merry Christmas
3  Other / Beginners & Help / Got all my mining rig gear, should I use windows or linux? on: June 14, 2011, 12:41:10 PM
950 watt power supply
MSI motherboard
4 ati 5830
1gb ram
wifi adaptor
left over hard drive I can use if I do windows

I'm considering using linuxcoin and 4 dummy plugs...would this machine run windows 7?
I'd prefer windows because its easier to overclock the video cards...

unless linux can overclock them? I have no experience with linux but I'm pretty good with computers otherwise...
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Need help picking a motherboard and power supply...can donate some bitcoin on: June 13, 2011, 06:39:03 PM
Hey guys I just bought (4) 5830 from the newegg deal and I can't decide whether I should put all 4 in 1 rig, or split them up 2 in a rig and 2 in another.

How powerful of a PSU do I need for (2) 5830? how about for (4) 5830?

Also I'm having trouble finding any motherboard in stock that can fit (4) 5830 right on the motherboard...

If someone helps me I can donate 0.1 BTC

Thanks!
