1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What Is Most Important To Creating A Successful Cryptocurrency on: May 08, 2021, 08:12:03 PM
Based on the cryptocurrency projects that have seen good and sustainable success over the past few years, the recipes for success isn't just about having a good concept or a good team. To be successful in the blockchain cryptocurrency space you have to create a project that actually satisfies a pressing need either on-chain or in the real life.

A project is likely to be more successful If it solves a pressing on-chain problem.
This is even better because blockchain technology still has some way to go before it fully impacts the everyday lives or people like the internet does today, so there is still a need for projects that makes these blockchain integrations faster.

Such projects will always be a key part for the blockchain infrastructure in the long run and is almost guaranteed to be successful.

The cryptocurrency space needs projects that think outside the box and not just different versions of existing projects

This combined with other important components like; A good team, important/strategic partnerships, good marketing and actually delivering on the project's promises is almost guaranteed to make such projects a big success
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ALTERNATIVE WAYS FOR NIGERIANS TO TRADE CRYPTOCURRENCIES on: February 05, 2021, 07:51:12 PM
Today 05-Feb-2021 marks the date that Nigerian government announced that cryptocurrencies are henceforth banned as a means of transacting and cryptocurrency trabsactions can no longer be facilitated using official registered bank accounts.
This leads to the question that how are Nigerians going to be able to buy and send cyptocurrencies.
Some other countries have had this ban already, i will like to know how citizens and residents of these countries have been able to go around these official government bans.
3  Other / Beginners & Help / Newbies should be careful when using ICO rating websites on: July 03, 2019, 02:11:03 PM
There are several ICO ratings websutes out there like
ICOBench
ICORatings
TrackICO
FoundICO
ICOmarks
ICObazaar etc

Recently i was researching a project for investment purposes and almost the first thing i saw on the website was 5/5 and 9/10 ratings of that project linked to these rating sites.

However i proceeded further to do more digging, only to find out that the project is basic and below average, has a very average team and has raised less than 10% of their fundraising goals (below the softcap) 2 months into the token sale.

There is no way a high quality project that deserves a 9/10 rating will such a low progress.
Anyone who has invested due to the ratings on these websites will likely loose their money.

So it is important to take the ratings on these websites with a pinch of salt when making your project research for investment.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Too much crypto payment projects but little people accepting crypto payments on: April 23, 2019, 11:40:53 PM
I believe one of the major setbacks of the present crypto space is a lot of new projects are focused on providing the fastest easiest crypto coin to be used for payment purposes and transactions however considerably lower effort is placed on the vendors who are actually going to be accepting payment in form of cryptocurrencies because what is the use of having a crypto payment card full of money that you cannot spend.

Whitmore payment gateways a inform of PayPal and the likes accepting crypto payments from multiple coins without necessarily issuing their own coin then there will be better adoption of cryptocurrencies by both business owners and customers.
5  Other / Beginners & Help / How are moderators for crypto projects recruited? on: March 05, 2019, 01:06:32 PM
I see a lot of projects on this forum and some of them have moderators who joined  a long time again while others joined recently. So I wonder how this moderators are recruiter, what are the criteria to be one of this moderators and how can I apply to moderate a project if I have interest, so I can join.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Bull run ain't no Christmas party on: November 29, 2018, 01:50:50 PM
There is this misconception about seeing bull run as a fortune cookie that you enjoy every year.

I have been seeing different post on this forum since the middle of the year about people expecting the bull run to come this year end. The bull run ain't no Christmas party that happens every year. Expecting it this year is unrealistic because the market still needs to correct /recover from the FOMO that led to last year bull run. Investing in the Crypto market requires patience and persistence, it isn't a market you come to every year to make millions. Bull run will definitely come but not this year or soon.

What do you think???
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Crypto is not a get rich quick scheme on: November 28, 2018, 05:31:51 AM
I don't know if I am the only one that is not worried about the market and feel it is doing fine?
I see different posts about people saying different things like "it is the end", "crypto is dead", "I lost it all, it is time to get out" blah blah blah and I get pissed off. Most people don't do a proper research before FOMO into crypto and confuse it for a get rich quick scheme.
I definitely know the bull run will come but I am not expecting it soon. We just saw a massive bull run about 13 months ago and I think it is too early too see another, because there needs to be room for market correction, which is presently happening. Last year the price of Btc increased by about 1000% and has only reduced by about 600% which means there is still room for more correction. So do away with the fantasy that bull run will occur every year to get you rich and face the reality.

It is only the weak hands that are complaining while the wise are taking advantage of the market to get good altcoins at cheap prices.

What is you thought?Huh
