1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Riskiest but most profitable way to convert 800$ of BTC into more BTC? on: February 28, 2018, 09:23:20 PM
Hello everyone, I have been in and out of the crypto world for over seven years now, but the only thing I have to show for it is mistakes.  Like selling all my eth at 15 dollars nearly two years ago and the miner that went with it.  Or paying nearly an eth for a bunch of worthless tokens on etherdelta exchange thinking they were something else.  Careless, day trading in high volume markets like the ZCLassic market on Bittrex yesterday.

I don't make a whole lot of money (Electronic Sales Asscociate at Walmart), but I am asking this:

If I wanted to take 800 dollars of BTC to an exchange, which one would be the most active and profitable and riskiest to covert over quickly?   Now just assume that its money I can afford to lose and willing to gamble a little.   I am photo verified with Bittrex, but I always lose money there.  I have accounts with binance, coinexchange, kucoin, coss.io , bibox, hitbtc, and a couple more.  I was thinking HitBTC because, even though their fees are high, they have a chatbox and alot of activity.  My plan would be to set a very low order on a high volume coin and wait.

Any other ideas on how to covert quickly but risky would be appreciated.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Question about B2X token. on: February 25, 2018, 03:11:30 PM
B2x token.  So I read its a fork of bitcoin that was done by enthusiasts.  I can find hardly any info online about it.  Is it a dead coin?   A worthless coin?  There are so many out there.  I was looking for BTX and bought some of these by mistake (not many and they looked cheap off etherdelta).   Seems there telegram channel is offline.   Anybody know anything about this coin?  B2X
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Opinion: What top five alt coins to catch in this BTC dip. on: February 24, 2018, 08:29:10 PM
BTC is dipping now and some sources say it could go 8800.  I am asking for professional  opinions on five top alt coins people are trying to catch on the dip.  Please list exchange.

Mainly interested in Bittrex and Binance exchanges, but your professional opinion matters.

I always look at SC, ruby, tix, grs, and pot coins on bittrex.   But volume not so great on the last four.

Any help appreciated!
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Ethos ethermine wallet. Does it create wallet? on: January 08, 2018, 09:05:18 PM
Not sure if I am posting this in right place.

Hello everyone. A year ago I used to mine ethereum on a rig that used EthOs. I sold the power supply and the cards on the rig a year ago(big regret), but I discovered I have a balance of 1.8 ethereum when I clicked on my old address link. I have a key file and installed v.9.3 ethereum wallet a few days ago and its showing the balance in what is says to be an etherbase address. But I can't send anything because it needs a password, and I don't remember setting one up.

Its been so long, I can't remember if ethos (that was preinstalled on my rig) created my wallet for me or how the etherbase wallet was created. Does ethos create the wallet? Does it encrypt it with a password? Any suggestions on how to get password?  I probally have old miner ip address.  Help would greatly be appreciated, thats about 2 grand of money locked up.

Thanks in advance!

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Is this rig worth it? on: December 04, 2017, 08:27:43 PM
Hello all.  I am newly married and my wife does not like the fact that I am so heavily consumed by charts and trading and bitcoin, altcoin etc.   She also does not want me to get into a high powered mining operation.  But I still want to mine over the next year or so with little noise and power.  Would this be worth it in long run?

Maybe a couple of them.  One to mine monero and one to mine eth.

Any help would be appreciated.
7  Economy / Service Discussion / Cannot Cancel Order on Bittrex: Invalid_Order with no btc or alt balance on: November 29, 2017, 04:23:57 AM
Last Friday during a Tix pump I tried to cancel my order because I saw it was going to higher.   It went much higher but my order did not get filled but should have.   So now I have no Tix(Blocktix altcoin) on the sell side or BTC on the buy side.   I only have the Tix that was on order stuck in reserves.  The order should have filled.

But now it shows I have an open order which I cannot cancel.   It gives me the message:  Can not cancel order:Invalid_Order.   I contacted Bittrex support days ago and of course just the usual bot response.   But that was all the money I had.  I have no BTC or any other alt coin to trade with on such a opportune time.   I have been pulling my hair out all weekend.

Is there something I can do on my end?  Has anyone had this happen to them?  And what happened?  Do I just wait weeks on support?  If they just give me the Tix back I am in a big loss since it went back down.   I would rather have the BTC that my order got filled at, or should have got filled.   Any thoughts?  Help please.
