81  Economy / Services / Change my altcoin from .zip file to .exe file - fair pay on: June 05, 2014, 05:04:52 AM
On the old version of Bitcoin when you downloaded the wallet it was a zip file and you had to extract it and then run it after clicking the extracted bitcoin qt. But the new Bitcoin you are able just download the client and run it without extracting anything.  I have a altcoin that was made but it's currently a zip file once you download it. Your job is to make it able to be run instantly after being downloaded like the new bitcoin wallet core client. This is an easy job and I want someone efficient and good to do this for me. Make the wallet able to run right after being installed instead of having to extract a zip. Reply with how long this will take you and your asking price.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Do you mine/invest in altcoins? on: May 31, 2014, 06:15:55 PM
Wtf... whichever mod moved this did not understand the point of this poll. Please move it back to bitcoin discussion the point of this pole is to see which bitcoiners are interested in altcoins.

I see a very anti altcoin attitude here some times and I was wondering. How many people in the official Bitcoin Discussion section invest in altcoins?
83  Other / MultiBit / Import uncomfirmed wallet.dat from official bitcoin client to multibit? on: May 31, 2014, 05:55:00 PM
Alright so basically my computer was shut off while bitcoin wallet was on so when I restarted my computer my wallet had to reindex the whole blockchain. The problem is I need to make a payment for something right now. And since multibit syncs with the bitcoin network I was wondering. Could I import the wallet.dat/private key from my reindexing bitcoin wallet to multibit wallet and then send those coins instantly?
84  Other / New forum software / New forum - Will it use all funds? on: May 28, 2014, 08:49:03 PM
Will the new forum use exactly the amount that was raised? Or more or less?
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Have you had any problems with large Bitcoin cashouts? on: May 26, 2014, 02:03:38 AM
I'm about to make a cash out of about $40k+ and am wondering if I will be met with any resistance. For someone under 18 and residing in Canada what obstacles would there be? I will most likely be selling on something like localbitcoins for cash to a verified person. I will be reporting this $40k+ to taxes (I'm not an idiot I'm not going to try and evade tax on big purchases). If I follow all rules filing taxes etc. Will I receive any trouble? Also will my guardians be notified of my money when I file my taxes?

86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / The Bitcoin Foundation-fraudsters, pedophiles, murderers ,fat fucks and scammers on: May 24, 2014, 09:58:17 PM
With their extreme corruption and evidence linking them to some of the biggest scams in Bitcoin (MTGox) and murders made to look like suicides. Now with the revelation that KNC didn't actually pay the $100k under proper procedure or even more likely at all to vote for Brock Pierce and elect him. Honestly what will it take to rally together the Bitcoin community and take these scumbags down? The leadership of the foundation for the most part consists of fraudsters, fat fucks, pedophiles, murderers and scammers who don't even properly cover their tracks, it's like they feel there so untouchable they think no one can stop them.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Alt-coin about to hit x100 growth on: May 19, 2014, 07:21:55 PM
I just received insider news that a certain altcoin is about to appreciate about x100 because of a new feature/implementation (I'm not really sure but I trust the source). It will gain x100 it's current value. I'm not posting this in an attempt to get people to pump a coin (because then people would just say I'm trying to dump) I'm posting this to gain credibility to myself once people see that I was right and the coin actually does hit insane growth I will be more credible, if you wish to buy some of the coin that is your own decision. Currently just verifying some things and I will then post the coin.

89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / [Poll] Are you in favor of the Bitcoin Foundation? on: May 14, 2014, 12:06:48 AM

90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The Decentralized Union - New Crypto Foundation on: May 12, 2014, 05:02:11 PM
Of course one main goal of the Decentralized union will be to further Crypto.

Unlike the Bitcoin Foundation I strongly believe The Decentralized Union should focus on staying decentralized and giving no one person great/complete control over operations including myself.

Also the "donations" required to be in the Bitcoin foundation trouble me greatly. This is an obvious attempt to profit off of an organization that should be furthering crypto.

Donating shouldn't be the main/only way to get in a foundation.

The Decentralized Union will put a higher priority on those that have actually contributed something innovative to the crypto community such as new protocols, services, features etc.

So I'm asking you the Crypto community what you would like to see the Decentralized Union accomplish what should be some goals?

93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Asiacoin - The first coin with %1000 premine on: May 03, 2014, 07:55:58 PM
Lol this really made me laugh. A coin with a max total coins of 300million was premined 3billion by the devs. This put's the premine at x10 (%1000) of the coins available to the public. Lol I honestly got a good laugh at this a new innovation in cryptocurrencies %1000 premine! Asiacoin = Shitcoin of the future.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I have modified Bitcoin for Mass Adoption - Price Volatility Solved - BSP on: April 28, 2014, 04:06:14 AM
One of the main things making Bitcoin unrealistic for mass adoption and everyday use by the average person is the price volatility. A sort of transition needs to be made to have something on the Bitcoin network that can be used for everyday use. That is why I have built on top of the bitcoin protocol to create an alternative within the Bitcoin network that will stay stable and not have massive price fluctuations.

Bitcoin Stabilization Protocol

+

Stable Bitcoins for everyday use

BSP is a new protocol built specifically for making a stable version of Bitcoin that can exist on the Bitcoin protocol. With this you won't have to worry about losing half your wealth overnight while this may not seem attractive to an investor this is ideal for someone that just wants to spend there money freely and not have some central organization controlling there funds.

More details on the technical side of how BSP works will be made available in due time.

Do you think BSP will greatly improve the chance of mass adoption?

96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [ANN] TheymosCoin - Proof Of Forums Algorithim on: April 12, 2014, 04:24:15 AM
TheymosCoin is the newest innovation in cryptocurrency technology implementing the new built from the ground up Proof Of Forums Algorithim.

The IPO, When people send money to the IPO it will go toward the building of a forum the Proof of Forums protocol built into TheymosCoin will show proof that the forum is actually being built and the money not just being spent on dessert coffee drinks.

How much Bitcoin you send determines the percentage of the IPO you get. So if you send 1 BTC and everyone sends 50 BTC total and their are 1 million Theymos coins in the premine for IPO you will get 2% of the IPO which is 20000 TheymosCoins.

TEC (TheymosCoin) has many innovative features like Proof Of Forums Protocol and reverse 51% attack DDOS and reverse network attack DDOS, If someone trys to attack the network in any way the attacker will be retaliated against with attacks such as reverse DDOS that will easily defeat the attacker.

The distribution
99.9% of the coin will be premined for IPO

0.1% of the coin will be mined by conventional methods and distributed over a yet to be determined time frame

98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Tor + Bitcoin = Crypto Browser - The browser/platform of the future -Cryptocoins on: April 11, 2014, 04:42:54 AM
I am currently working on what I believe will be the browser/platform of the future that implements true anonymousness and financial freedom.
Crypto Browser will be an improved version of Tor that is more secure, runs smoother and is more anonymous. Crypto Browser will be the definitive safe anonymous Browsing technology.

Crypto Browser will mainly achieve this by being secured by a network similar to that of Bitcoin and in return those that secure the network will receive Cryptocoins. Crypto Browser in reality is not just a browser but a platform in which many things will be possible. The merging of these two technologies into something new is what I believe to be one of the biggest innovations in the crypto community in a long time.

This is just an initial thread on this project for discussion to see what the crypto community thinks of it, whether they think it's a good idea or not etc.
If any members of the community have any suggestions on this project or would even like to be a part of it I'm open to hearing your thoughts and if you are a reputable person your input.
