Bitcoin / Electrum / Data I'm exposing when using other server on Electrum

When we use Electrum wallet, we have to use some random electrum server unless we do own one. I have no problem relying on someone while using Electrum wallet as I use Electrum for a very small amount of transactions which I do regularly. I used to save some little funds in my Electrum wallet. However, sometimes, I have to receive the fund from my main wallet too. As I don't use mixer most of the time, it's connecting me directly with one of my addresses from my wallet. I can use different addresses when transacting, so no issue when I send. My other addresses aren't getting connected with one another.
But, since I'm relying on other servers, am I leaking any info? I think YES. But what are they exactly? What data can a server monitor when I'm using that server?
How can they monitor the data? I mean how this works exactly?
If the data are confidential, which I think will be confidential, I will set up my personal server maybe.

Will it be a good idea if I give merit to encourage people for becoming active and start quality post? I have asked people to post on certain things about bitcoin and if they can, I have promised to give merit.
In my local, there are no huge activity, they post spam most of the time. They have very low knowledge on bitcoin. To them, bitcoin wallet = coinbase which is very misleading. I am trying to overcome this and spread awareness for a long time and that's why I have planned to ask them question and share merit when someone can give proper answer.
What's your moral on this? I repeat my goal is to increase awareness and that's why I have promised them to share merit as long as I have.

It's so annoying. I must have to wait to report spam posts. I can't report posts instantly one after another.
Why does forum don't allow report faster? Won't that be good for all?

In recent days, due to transaction of bitcoin, 3 people were arested in our local, Bangladesh. Although they have some more issues like cheating people in the name of offering bitcoin transactions with an exchange site. I am scared a little bit now. I have created a forum in my local language and directly promoting bitcoin. There's only a few stuffs are written in Bengali on internet and most of those are inappropriate. Here's the reason, I have taken step to ensure quality content/knowledge in local language. I have paid a few users out of my pocket for writing stuff in the forum so that users can get solid knowledge. The reason of my scarcity- I have used TOR browser both in my forum and in bitcointalk. In some cases, when I logged in bitcointalk from my mobile, I have used my phone and wasn't able to use TOR. What if our govt. search for information? Will Theymos publish my IP address provided that I have not cheated or done any illegal activities other than creating a local forum.In my local, bitcoin and related stuff which promotes it are illegal. |

Couple of days ago, I wrote a review on a local exchange which was acused of scamming people. A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. Posts are most frequently deleted because they are off-topic, though they can also be deleted for other reasons. প্রথমেই শুরু করি ICO কি ?ICO হলো অনেকটা IPO এর মত। অর্থাৎ কোন কোম্পানি তাদের ব্যবসা প্রসারের জন্য যেমন IPO মাধ্যমে টাকা মার্কেট থেকে টাকা উত্তোলন করে এবং বিনিময়ে তার কোম্পানির শেয়ার দেয় , ঠিক তেমনি বিভিন্ন কোম্পানি টাকা উত্তোলনের জন্য ICO নিয়ে আসে এবং বিনিময়ে তাদের টোকেন কিংবা কয়েন দেয়। কয়েনগুলো তুলনামূলক কম দামে দেয় এবং ইনভেস্টর এই আশায় বিনিয়োগ করে যে তারা পরে লাভ করতে পারবে। যাই হোক ,মূল কথায় ফিরে আসি। বর্তমানে বেশিরভাগ ICO ফেক বা স্কেম। তারা ICO নাম দিয়ে মানুষের কাছ থেকে টাকা উত্তোলন করে এবং সে টাকা নিয়ে উধাও হয়ে যায়।যেহেতু এইটা ইন্টারনেটের মাধ্যমে হয়ে থাকে, কারো তেমন কিছু করার ও থাকে না। সুতরাং , ICO তে বিনিয়োগ করতে হলে আপনাকে অবশ্যই অনেক ভেবেচিন্তে করতে হবে যাতে কোনোরকম ঝুঁকি না থাকে বা প্রতারণার শিকার না হন। এইখানে আমি চেষ্টা করবো কিভাবে এইসব ফেইক কিংবা স্কেম ICO সনাক্ত করা যায় এবং ঝুঁকি থেকে রক্ষা পাওয়া যায়। ১. টিম সবচেয়ে বড় ভূমিকা পালন করে ICO তে বিনিয়োগের শুরুতেই দেখে নিন যেখানে বিনিয়োগ করছেন, মানে যে ICO তে বিনিয়োগ করার কথা ভাবছেন সেটার পিছনে কোন মানুষগুলো কাজ করছে। তারা কি বাস্তব নাকি ফেইক। অনেক ICO আছে যারা তাদের টিমের পিক দেয় অন্য মানুষের। হতে পারে আমার কিংবা আপনার। তারা তাদের বলে চালিয়ে দিচ্ছে। যদি তারা এইরকম করে তাহলে অবশ্যই বুঝে নিবেন যে তাদের উদ্দেশ্য ভালো নয়। মানে তারা মানুষের টাকা মেরে দেয়ার চিন্তা ভাবনা করছে। কিভাবে বুঝবেন যে তারা প্রকৃত মানুষ নাকি অন্যের পরিচয় ব্যবহার করছে ? ওকে। আপনি খুব সহজভাবে গুগল ইমেজ সার্চ করে বের করে নিতে পারেন। এইটা খুবই সহজ কাজ। ২. Whitepaper যাচাই করুন Whitepaper হলো ওই প্রজেক্টের উদ্দেশ্য, লক্ষ্য, কিংবা তাদের রোডম্যাপ। অর্থাৎ সবকিছুর বিস্তারিত। আপনি ওইটা পড়লেই বুঝতে পারবেন কতটা প্রফেশনাল। তাছাড়া আপনি কপি/পেস্ট চেকার দিয়ে চেক করে নিন অন্য কোথাও থেকে চুরি করা কিনা। বেশির ভাগ প্রতারকরা এই কাজটাই করে। অন্যের সবকিছু কপি করবে। এইটা করা খুবই সহজ। আমি নিচে সব প্রয়োজনীয় লিংক দিয়ে দেব যাতে আপনাদের কষ্ট করতে না হয়। ৩. ওয়েবসাইট যাচাই করুন ICO কোম্পানির যে ওয়েবসাইট আছে দেখে নিন তা কতদিন আগের নাকি নতুন খোলা হয়েছে। কতটা প্রফেশনাল ভাবে তারা ওয়েবসাইট সাজিয়েছে কিংবা তাদের ডোমেইন কতদিনের রেজিস্ট্রেশন করা। যদি কম হয় তাহলে তারা ভুয়া মানে স্কেম। দুই নাম্বারি করে টাকা মারাই তাদের উদ্দেশ্য। ৪. কয়েনের ব্যবহার আছে কিনা দেখে নিন বর্তমানে এমন অনেক কয়েন/টোকেন আছে যে গুলো আসলে বাস্তব জীবনে কোনো ব্যবহার নেই বললেই চলে। ওইরকম কোনো ICO তে বিনিয়োগ করবেন না। তাহলে দুইটা ঝুঁকি থাকে। এক, কোম্পানি স্কেম করবে। দুই, স্কেম না করলেও লাভ করা অনেক কঠিন। এমন একটা কয়েন এ বিনিয়োগ করুন যেটা বাস্তব জীবনে ব্যবহার করা যায়। যেমন ইথেরিয়াম। এই কয়েনের জনপ্রিয়তা বেশির অন্যতম কারণ হলো স্মার্ট কন্ট্রাক্ট। এইগুলো ছাড়াও অনেক কারণ রয়েছে। আমি আস্তে আস্তে আপডেট করবো আপনাদের কাছ থেকে সাড়া পেলে। আমার এই লেখার উদ্দেশ্য হলো নতুন যারা বিনিয়োগ করে তারা যেন প্রতারণার শিকার না হয়। যেকোনো ধরণের রিসার্চ করতে ব্যবহার করতে পারেন- https://icoethics.com/কপি পেস্ট চেক করুন- https://smallseotools.com/plagiarism-checker/
