I Am Buying A XFX Radeon HD 6970 And Also I Have Found In A Really Good Price A HIS Radeon HD 6970 So I Wanted To Know If It Is Possible To Crossfire Two Cards From A Different Brand?

I'm looking to buy an "Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 6990 (GV-R699D5-4GD-B) 4096MB PCIe x16 Gen 2.1 Eyefinity 6 Edition"
and i can't find anywhere to buy from (OUT OF STOCK).
Perhaps I should go and buy the ATI Radeon HD 5970? Would that give me the same (+/-) Mhash/sec?

I'm new to builing a computer - DIY and I was wondering if an "ASUS Socket AM3/AMD 890FX/CrossFireX/SATA 3.0 and USB 3.0/A and GbE/ATX Motherboard Crosshair IV Formula" motherboard is compatible for the 6990 graphic card (I don't really understand the differences between PCI-Express 2.1 x16 And PCI--Express 2.0....etc.).

Hey, I am new to the mining consept and i am very much enthusiast about it.

Right now my computer specs aren't really good and i am trying to make the best out of them.

I have an Alienware m15x notebook with: i7 740QM and a iGPU-> Nvidia GTX 460M 1.5GB (Not so much that i can do with it   )

nevertheless, I am researching for an eGPU upgrade to my system but right now i am having trouble understanding what i need to buy and if my specific laptop can use a eGPU.
basically what i want to do is buying a new desktop video card and assemble it to my notebook as an external card.

Can you help me understand what i need to accomplish that and if you can also recommend me of a good ( \best) video card to buy.

התחלתי לחצוב אבל אני לא יודע אם עשיתי את כל ה settings של ה pool mining באופן הנכון.
קראתי כל כך הרבה על כל הנושא הזה ואני עדיין לא בטוח שזה עובד נכון...
מישהו יכול להסתכל על מה שעשיתי ולראות אם שכחתי משהו?

אני חבר ב Slush's pool ואני משתמש ב Pheonix miner (בעיקר בגלל שזה מה שפיירלורד המליץ).

פיירלורד נתן את הbatch script הזה והוא לא עובד לי.

אחרי שניסית לשחק עם ה batch script הזה ולא עזר שום דבר (כי למעשה אני לא ממש מבין בזה) אז החלטתי להשתמש בקוד הכי פשוט שהאתר של התוכנה ממליץ והוא:

ודווקא זה כן עובד לי אבל אני לא בטוח לגביו שהוא עושה את העבודה בצורה הכי טובה.
אם מישהו יודע ליצור batch script אני אשמח מאוד אם הוא יוכל לעזור לי עם זה ולשפר אותו.
מה שאני מקבל כשאני מפעיל את Pheonix בצורה הזו זה:

מישהו מבין מה התמונה מראה לי פה?
23.35 Mhash/sec זה הגיוני?  זה הרבה? זה מעט? איך אפשר לשפר את זה?
האם ה Pheonix miner הוא חוצב CPU או חוצב GPU?  אם הוא שניהם אז איך אני יכול לראות מ העומס על כל אחד מהם?
איך אני יודע שהכל עובד כמו שצריך? כלומר, איפה יש לי אינדיקציה לראות את ההתקדמות של מציאת בלוקים?

אני משתמש בכרטיס גרפי Nvidia GTX460M 1.5GB במחשב נייד.
