2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / [ANN] Resardis Decentralized Cryptocurrency Exchange on Side Chain on: July 01, 2021, 07:34:17 PM
Resardis Decentralized Cryptocurrency Exchange on Side Chain

Resardis is an order book based decentralized cryptocurrency exchange (DEX). It promises a safe and user-friendly trading experience to cryptocurrency investors. With its structure built on the side chain tech, it provides an environment to materialize a perfect trading experience. The main goal of the project is to create a decentralized cryptocurrency trading platform for cryptocurrency investors all around the world. Only cryptocurrencies will be listed on the exchange, there will be no fiat currencies.

Resardis DAO & Token

Resardis is aiming to be a community driven project. Therefore, we are building a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). Control of the Resardis DEX rests in the hands of the community holding the Resardis tokens (https://etherscan.io/token/0x73627974adea82397bcf7fac5848207cce88938d). The Resardis Token exists to govern the Resardis DEX. Any changes to the DEX will be proposed and voted on by Resardis Token holders. These proposals can include things like adjusting the fee percentage, implementing scaling solutions and controlling future distribution of Resardis Token to project contributors. In future, Resardis Token will be able to be used as an optional commission payment.

Decentralized

Just like the cryptocurrencies themselves, Resardis lives on the blockchain. This essentially means that all the trading happens on the blockchain, secured by the state-of-art cryptography and immune to manipulation. Users are the sole owners of their funds, and the exchange does not have any control over the assets. There is nothing stored on the exchange servers, and therefore nothing to steal by the hackers or the exchange admins. You might wonder how we overcome the shortcomings of a decentralized exchange, in that case directly skip over to the side chain section.

Private

Decentralization provides privacy. As a decentralized platform, Resardis has a zero-knowledge policy about the customers. Users do not need to sign up with sensitive and personal information. In this context, Resardis is just an intermediary platform which helps traders to find each other and facilitates trading. Just create an address, stay anonymous and start trading. No way to conclude who did what.

Secure

Decentralization provides security
Users have full control over the funds, meaning they are the only owners of the private keys. Since the keys to crypto wallets are not stored on the exchange servers, even if the exchange gets hacked, there is nothing to steal. Stop trading on centralized exchanges where there is always a possibility of mass cryptocurrency loss.

Side Chain

Resardis Decentralized Exchange (DEX) is built on top of the side chain technology. As a second layer solution, side chain is optimized for scalable decentralized applications, while keeping the base-layer security of the Ethereum blockchain. Unlike the other DEXs, trading is blazing-fast (1 second), the platform can handle super-high trading traffic, the trading orders live on the blockchain for free, and lastly it is possible to trade non-Ethereum and non-ERC20 based crypto-currencies such as TRON, Bitcoin and EOS. No more long trading durations and on-blockchain order fees, all while including cross-blockchain trading.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Open Source Finance: Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Movement on: August 15, 2020, 07:58:06 PM
Hi Guys,

DeFi’s are shaping open source finance and promising an accessible, verifiable, decentralized and censorship-resistant way to access financial services.

Open source finance refers to financial softwares and softwares as a service of which the source code is made publicly available. Combined with the power of blockchain, open source financial software built on public chains are collectively referred to as Decentralized Finance (DeFi) applications.

4  Economy / Exchanges / What are the problemes of crypto currency exchanges? on: July 19, 2019, 01:10:31 PM
Hi, I want to share my ideas about crypto currency exchanges. I think that there are some problems. And I am wondering people are agree with me or disagree?

Today's available exchanges have really big influence over crypto currency investors:

  • They can appropriate the invests of investors.
  • If they are attacked and lost the invests to hackers, there are not any legal regulation so you can not ask about your invests to anyone.
  • They can stole the invests and can say that hackers has stoled the invests and anybody can not say not 'it was you'. Like Mt, Gox.

Please stop exemplify about Binance. It was their initiative and good for them. But not every exchange like them.

So how can you trade securely? Do you feel comfortable?

How do you see the future of decentralized and centralized exchanges?

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ethereum price dump on: December 09, 2018, 08:53:55 PM
Can anyone explain why Ethereum is kissing the floor?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / EtherDelta is not a decentralize exchange on: December 02, 2018, 11:50:28 AM
I was make a research about decentralize exchanges and my idea was the orders are gathering on main net, because of this reason orders bring with costs. I saw that one of the most known decentralize exchange EtherDelta is gathering orders on private server to remove order costs. It means orders are manipulable by the owner of Ether Delta. So, I can not explain Ether Delta as a decentralize exchange. This is a delusion.

Ether Delta is not a decentralize exchange. Do you agree?
Is there any exchange really decentralize without order cost?

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Cryptocurrency Projects: More Than a Coin on: November 27, 2018, 09:19:33 PM
In this days I am thinking about this: the only way to raise of cryptocurrency is creating some projects which are not only a coin. I believe that solving a problem with blockchain technology is the future of crypto. There are tons of problem on internet, privacy issues, security problems and more.

Do you think which projects are promising for implementing to our daily life or really solving a problem?
Which projects will help to save the reputation of Bitcoin?
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What is Physical Worth of Bitcoin: Energy Consumption and Equipments on: November 27, 2018, 05:40:41 PM
Sure there are worth of cryptocurrencies as idea and function. On the other hand, actually they are physical assets because of energy consumption and equipment cost. We have to pay to create digital assets.

I am just wondering about the total physical worth of cryptocurrencies. This is calculable. Let's start with Bitcoin: if we estimate total energy consumption of Bitcoin from the beginning, we can estimate total equipment cost too, or we can estimate as a min/max value of Bitcoin. The calculation is simple: cost/amount of Bitcoin. This might be base value of Bitcoin without changeable value of perception and ideas.

What is the physical worth of 1 Bitcoin?

Is there any research about it, if not, can we do this?
