1  Economy / Services / Bitcoogle: The Bitcoin-related Website Search Engine on: July 09, 2011, 02:28:52 PM
Hi everyone!

With bitcoin popularity growing, there have been tons of new and interesting bitcoin-related websites popping up all over the intertubes.
Considering the number of different bitcoin forums/marketplaces/shops/directories, it's becoming quite a mission to easily locate what you looking for as well as the latest bitcoin-related websites.

That's why I figured I'd slap together http://bitcoogle.com to simplify the process. Using the power of Google, it'll (hopefully) find what you are looking for by searching through a list of known family-safe websites.

Please check it out and use the 'contact' section (on the bitcoogle website) to find the respective emails addresses to drop some comments, or request for a website to be included within the search list.
Bear in mind that the current website list is far from complete, and I will be adding new websites as I get them (either from you guys or from forums where the announcement is made).

Lastly, before requesting for the inclusion of a website, please consider whether it will really benefit the community. At present, I am reviewing and processing all of this manually to ensure that the community get the best out of this project.

I'll try my best to note all website acceptances via https://twitter.com/bitcoogle but a list of all accepted websites can also be retrieved from http://bitcoogle.com/websites.php.

Thanks in advance for all constructive criticism, and feel free to tip me either at the address below or the one on the website.
