Once the bitcoin market crossed a billion dollar capitalization, sentiment of bubbles spiked in the public discourse despite no one citing any comparable metric to build a case off of.

Basically the idea is that the bitcoin market is still smaller than the much less successful digital gold currency market. In this sense, bitcoin are not in a bubble as most people proclaim without presenting a metric.
