Shortly are the USB hubs that usb asic miners use any different than usual USB hubs i can buy in local shop ?

ive installed USB to UART Bridge VCP Drivers
then put in my USB eruptor
it installed driver and Bitminer sees it right away, ready to mine.


yet i wanted to mine some other crypto currencies so wanted to use GUIminer - yet guiminer stil lsees just my CPU + my own Cayman card, ASIC miner is not recognized.

wwhat should i do to be able to mine other stuff than bitminter?

im on windows 7.

I have Geforce 9600 GSO 512 card and tyrign toi make most of it [its my old comp that i dont care of at all].

if i run it with:
-H 2 -d 0 -i 1 -l S12x4 -C 2 -m 1

i get 10-15 khash.

if i run it with:
-d 0,1 -i 1,0 -l auto,S12x4 -C 0,2

i get 50 khash but then it dies after literally few seconds.


im sure there must be some setup between to get at least 30 khash but i have no idea what to tweak, and my blind tweakign didnt give any results.
any help appreciated.

ive formatted comp ti has win XP.
GUIminer wont run at all - ive installed .net 4.0 c++ redistrib. what else might be needed? bitminter i can mien witj java app but i want to use guiminer, yet dont know what im missing.

as in topic. cgminer eats easily their stratum for mining scrypt things but my CUDA/CPU miners cannot be run ie netive cudaminer, poolcpuminer or GUIminer-scrypt.

How to mine this pool on non cgminers ?

SOmehow cant find it i want to CPU mine at one of my free machines + my CUDA machine yet all pools i find have preentered stratu mof their own.
SO my questio nis:
1. where is clear scrypt.exe
2. what would be example command to run it for new pool?

I just got Belkin ASICMINER Block Erupter USB  but i have no idea how to make use of it. Ive installed the CD of belkin but i see it installs it as USB wifi. so uninstalled it.
I read somethign aobut CP210x_VCP_Windows so installed this but still nothing.

Can anybody help or show guide that works?

which of this pools seem better for mining litecoins, as im not sure. currently im mining half here, ahfl there but i want to give full power to 1 pool.

i got cpuminer aka minerd.exe - ive put it on folder on desktop. if i run minerd.exe by double clickign i get this error:

but no idea how to use the command - i cant just paste it in the window. creaitgn bat file in same folder with that command doesnt do anything.
