1  Other / Beginners & Help / Faucets - Do people still use it, and are they worthwhile? on: August 03, 2020, 01:23:35 AM
Hi,

I know crypto faucets have been around for a long time, but I never bothered to try any of them.

I recently noticed that some faucets still attract so much traffic, and it really got me curious whether using faucets daily is actually worth your time.

Please share your opinions about them, and your experience with them if you actually used it for some time.

Thanks in advance.
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Best Bitcoin Wallet? on: July 24, 2020, 02:05:11 AM
I have been using Copay as my main BTC wallet for about 5 years now.
I never thought about changing to a different wallet, because I never had a problem with it.
But out of no where, I got curious about which wallet other people are using.

What do you think is the best wallet out there for BTC? (Other than cold hardware wallets like Ledger)
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / What is your opinion on Crypto.com's Earn and Binance's Savings? on: July 21, 2020, 08:15:22 AM
Although I am not a terrible day-trader, I am pretty much occupied with work, family and friends, and other hobbies, stock trading, etc.
So I tend not to do too much day trading.

I do have a good amount of crypto holdings since 2015 tho, and unfortunately, they have been just sitting there for the most part.
Since 2 years ago or so, I used loan on Poloniex to earn extra coins, and now I am currently using Crypto.com's Earn and Binance's Savings / Staking to make some profits.
Although I am pretty confident that Binance is a safe place to keep my coins, since it is highly reputable and am aware that they have insurance for users' assets,
I am not too sure about Crypto.com. I have researched, of course, but I have never gotten a definite answer that it is safe, as there are answers from both sides.
So even though Crypto.com offers more percent return, I am reluctant to deposit more because of my doubts in security.

Is there anyone that uses Crypto.com who can confirm that it is indeed as safe as Binance?
What do you think of these two options for making extra profit?
Do you think they are worthwhile?
And do you know any other safe options I can try out?
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Which website do you usually go to get your news and casino reviews? on: July 13, 2020, 05:27:27 AM
Hi,

I started playing in crypto casinos for a couple months now, and I just became curious about where all the expert crypto gamblers usually get your news and info.

I mainly use Best Bitcoin Casino, Crypto Gambling News, and of course here,
but are there any other sites that you guys recommend?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What is staking ETH going to be like? on: May 03, 2019, 09:41:43 AM
Trying to get into ETH over here. If I understand correctly, Ethereum is currently half PoW and half PoS.

1. How does this half & half thing work?
2. What are the current steps and rules of staking ETH? (e.g. minimum staking amount, delegation, unstaking etc.)
3. Will (2) change when it completely switches over to PoS?

Thanks in advance.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Staking Cosmos ATOM without delegating is a possibility on: May 03, 2019, 07:36:20 AM
So i came across this exchange called GDAC via Twitter, and was really skeptical about this staking without needing to delegate that they are doing with ATOM, but i tried with a small amount anyways because if its true, then means i don't have to wait for 3 eternal weeks for unstaking whenever i want to sell.

And yesterday was the first day they give out the rewards, and to my surprise, rewards deposited nice and clean. It was honestly the easiest staking i ever experienced. They also posted this neat announcement about how they calculated their staking yield for its users. https://support.gdac.com/hc/ko/articles/360022337454/

I'm finding myself wanting to support these guys, and let many others know about this to try it out.
I am leaving basic information here for anyone who wants to check it out.

**I am not suggesting anyone should stake all your ATOM on an exchange. This is just an alternative way to keep 'some' of your assets staked for rewards + ready to be traded/withdrawn at any time, which is limited by normal way of delegating on cosmos.
