1  Economy / Services / help wanted: Create training videos for Electron Cash on: May 26, 2018, 08:55:13 PM
I want to create a set of training videos for the Electron Cash (BCH) wallet.

This will be done in 3 stages:

1. Storyboard/script made for each screen
2. Screen capture video with narration done for each screen
3. Professional voice over redone to redo the narration.

I will pay generously for this service but you must prove yourself.
I don't waste time on idiots.  I won't reply to random questions.

Send me a sample of your work. (Do a screen or two).
You must fully understand the wallet (or 95% at least).

it has to be short, punchy, and concise explanation of buttons and screens..rambling amateur shit wont fly here :p
...while still explaining all features and functionality

most important skill are to understand wallet well, and explain all functionality in an easy-to-understand, concise, professional, and clear way.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How to claim and sell Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on: November 22, 2017, 01:41:57 PM
just a reminder that if you still hold legacy BTC, (or held on Oct 24) you can get (and sell) free BTG. It's a pain in the ass but at almost $250 a coin, might be worth it.

There's been other articles written about this but i'll just give you the summary as I see it. My opinions/method only. Use at your own risk.

Move all your BTC AND BCH to new wallets. Not just new addresses, but new wallets, to be sure safe, because you might be exposing your private keys to the old addresses. Do this very carefully. If your coins are in cold storage, only move via offline signing. If you don't know how to do this confidently and safely you might just consider not doing any of this. Its important to move both BTC and BCH if they are on the same addresses or the same wallet (seed). The reason to be paranoid and use a whole new wallet is that a master public key and a single private key can be used to access the entire wallet.

Once all your coins are safely in cold storage in new wallets, proceed to step 2:

step 2: Download the coinomi wallet. Sweep the private keys of your old addresses into the wallet.

step 3: use changelly or another service to sell your BTG for the coin of your choice.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / PSA: fair warning. Hedge at least 1:1 with BCH or risk losing everything on: November 11, 2017, 08:38:22 PM
If you sold your BCH coins already, or bought after aug 1 ,might want to think twice.
You have a lot of risk.

5  Bitcoin / Electrum / Terrible decision by Electrum Devs to remove Bip39 Checksum on: August 20, 2017, 05:26:02 AM
The latest codebase does not enforce bip39 checksum.  I think this is a really bad decision.

What this means:

If you import a seed from another wallet like jaxx, Electrum used to not let you import
it unless it was a valid bip39 seed.  Now, they simply give you a warning.

That means people can think they are importing the right seed and get different
addresses.  Really bad, someone is going to lose money.  I strongly recommend
going back to the old way.

They have their reasons for this but i dont agree.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / bitcoin is unstoppable on: August 08, 2017, 04:14:27 AM
even when attacked from the inside by blockstream/core it just forks and offers two chains. at least one will continue delivering p2p electronic money to the people with low fees.  maybe both?  we'll see. Smiley

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Dash is safely scaling to 300+MB while Bitcoin can't even get to 2MB on: June 30, 2017, 07:01:00 PM

20  Economy / Reputation / I am being given neg feedback for political reasons on: June 10, 2017, 01:11:48 PM
Check out my negative feedback from Core Dev Greg Maxwell and Blockstream shill Lauda.

I've been here 4 years -- I've helped noobs, squashed scammers...I wrote some helpful tools in the electrum section.  I've lent large amounts of Bitcoins  and even donated money to people in need.  All this is documented.

These people don't like that I support bigger blocks.  Honestly I should be allowed to debate my preferences for scaling solution even if you don't agree.

So, if you are on trusted feedback, please leave some positive greenies.
