1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Stakenet (XSN) Will Be Listed On Bitfinex 19th Of January! Next 10x Project on: January 12, 2021, 03:52:15 PM
Has anyone here noticed Stakenet as of yet?
It was just announced today that the project will be listed on Bitfinex as of the 19th of January.

It pumped massively in price today due to these news.
They've made the ONLY DEX in the world with instant exchange settlements between BTC / ETH / LTC / XSN. More trading pairs coming soon.
They make use of masternodes to act as Lightning Network and Connext service hubs.
Masternodes turn a profit on trading fees and other services such as cold staking contracts (coming soon), which is basically smart contracts.

The video below is a promo video of their "Simple Swap" which makes it possible to swap assets instantly with next to 0 fees. The video shows BTC converted to USDT.
Uniswap likely won't stand a chance against this DEX. This project will likely surge into the 100 projects soon, so a 3-5x in market cap is likely happening over the next week or 2.

Promo video: https://streamable.com/codw1m

$5 valuation per coin is likely what we'll see very soon, due to these major utilities they bring to the crypto markets.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / First DEX with instant 2nd layer exchange settlements between BTC ETH USDT on: January 09, 2021, 04:06:58 PM
Hey there!

Hope you're all enjoying the weekend and all the gains we've had recently. I couldn't stop noticing all the drama between projects discussed here (NANO, BTC etc). due to the fees as of lately. Paying a $60 fee to trade $200 worth of a token on Uniswap is ridiculous.

This made me search for scaling solutions and projects trying to deal with it, as I can't see a future with anyone blatantly accepting these high fees, even when BTC is being talked about as "digital gold".

This video caught my attention: https://streamable.com/codw1m - It's a promo video from Stakenet's single swap service which is available in their custom multi-currency wallet with their DEX integrated into it as well.

They make use of the Lightning Network + The Connext network to make off-chain trading possible with a few clicks.
Anyone who's dealt with the Lightning Network otherwise has probably seen all the steps needed to even use it, which isn't user friendly at all.

This whole setup will soon be managed and controlled by more than 2700 masternodes, who will serve as Lightning and Connext hubs, and prevent bad actors from entering the network.

Decentralized exchanges need to be instantly tradeable, otherwise, nobody bothers to even use them, since convenience is the single most important aspect of people's daily lives.

This is an interesting project, which I predict will enter the top 100 in terms of market caps soon, new top 5 exchange listing on it's, which has frankly been one of the things that have stopped this project from being taken seriously.

I'd love to know what you guys think?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / [XMR] Monero - Price Speculation. $1,000 doable long term? on: December 30, 2020, 01:10:12 PM
Hey guys.

With the recent news of Ripple getting delisted from all major exchanges, XLM could likely be the next one being targetted?

Recently DEX's has exploded in volume, because they don't enforce KYC or any restrictions whatsoever. Seems like more and more people care about privacy at this point.
This very fact made me wonder what the future price of XMR could likely be - Knowing that they are working on atomic swaps, which will make it possible to trade XMR on DEX's! Grin

Monero can't be controlled by anyone, nobody can see how much you hold. Complete privacy is pretty cool, which made the IRS set a bounty of $625,000 for anyone who break its encryption.
Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/the-irs-offers-a-625-000-bounty-to-anyone-who-can-break-monero-and-lightning

Put two and two together and it isn't unlikely we'll see XMR trading above $1,000, what do you think?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Instant BTC + ETH transactions with next to 0 fees. Sounds good, right? on: November 16, 2020, 03:37:22 PM
Stakenet is working with 2 second layer protocols - The Lightning Network, and The Raiden Network. Both of these protocols makes BTC and ETH transactions instantaneous in a  truly decentralized setup using masternodes as payment routers.

Here's what they've achievved thus far:

1) They helped the Litecoin team with Lightning Network integration on the LTC chain, and thus formed a partnership.
Source: http://litecoin-foundation.org/lightning-network-collaboration-with-x-9-developers/

2) Stakenet is the industry leader in terms of Lightning Network developments, building and improving the technology in a way that benefits everyone - Investors as well as consumers. Their new Lightning DEX, which is an integrated part of a multi currency wallet they've been working on for the past year is bound to be a huge success for the following reasons:

Speed
Ease Of Use
Option To Hold And Trade Multiple Coins
Trade Through Binance, Bittrex, Kraken and many other exchanges WITHOUT ever logging in to any of these exchanges.

- This is done through liquidity providers who runs trading API's anyone can tap into and use for their own, as well as the liquidity providers benefit.

The whole eco-system is ran by masternodes, who will do the dirty work (routing transactions back and forth over the Lightning Network + The Raiden Network), this means that Lightning + Raiden node operators already have an incentive to keep them running, since the masternodes is profitable to run from the get-go already.

Ethereum is getting integrated, as well as a lot of it's popular tokens. This will be Uniswap on steriods, any traders wet dream.

This is just a small, yet important part of Stakenet, do your own research if you want to know what else they're working on.

Stakenet actually invented cold staking (back in 2017), which means that you can stake XSN through their "Trustless Proof Of Stake" protocol.

Please do yourself a favor, and watch this small presentation video which demonstrates how the DEX actually works:

This will be a HUGE player on the market from my perspective, what about you guys?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Instant BTC + ETH Trading Made Possible By Stakenet - XSN on: November 05, 2020, 09:11:26 PM
Stakenet is by far one of the most promising projects I've seen as of lately. You'd have to have followed the project to truly understand it's potential, but I'll try to explain it briefly here.

USDT, Ethereum (and it's tokens) will be integrated as well.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Stakenet (XSN) The KING of DEFI - Scaling solution for BTC and ETH on: August 19, 2020, 06:04:58 PM
On Dec 22, 2017, the average BTC transaction was $55. See https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-transactionfees.html

ETH was about $5 per transaction at its peak.

Why did this happen? Transactions were all being done on chain and it got congested.

Uniswap currently has more than 200 mio daily volume, but transactions are on-chain so ETH gas fees are through the roof.

Stakenet is solving this by implementing the Raiden Network, AND the Lightning Network to perform instant off-chain transactions which are way cheaper.

All the fees that are collected from people trading is used to pay masternode owners, AND to buy up XSN and burn it from the total supply.

In other words, XSN will be deflationary, just like Bitcoin. Once people realize how EASY it is to use their DEX, volume is going to go through the roof.

It's currently in BETA, but is being soft launched at the end of the month.  Wink.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / DEX's with MILLIONS in volume, COULD make you stinking rich, here's why. on: April 25, 2020, 07:36:44 PM
Remember the hype around Kucoin and Coss? Back i 2017 we saw these 2 projects perform amazingly well due to the promise that you could take share in the revenue from the exchanges as a token holder. Pretty decent idea right?

Well, guess what. With more and more regulation coming, it will most likely soon be IMPOSSIBLE to trade, let alone open an account on any exchanges without undergoing KYC/AML first, which exposes your identity. Something A LOT of people don't like that much, as it completely removes the point of crypto to begin with.

DEX's is trustless. You don't need to trust a DEX, as you hold your own private keys at all times. You don't need to sign up, you don't need to provide any personal details, and you're never at risk of getting hacked and losing your funds.

Now, remember in the good old days, when we saw the gold rush in America. You know WHO made the most money? The guy digging for gold, or the guy selling the shovels? Take a guess....

So through DEX's you'll be able to profit off of the trading fee's IF you run a node on the network. There are several DEX's projects out there who allow this, but Blocknet is probably the most well known DEX out there.
To run a node on Blocknet you need 5000 BLOCK as collateral to host a service node. If we see any decent volume on DEX's you could potentially strike GOLD running a node, as you'd take home a fee on every trade happening on the DEX through your node.

I've seen so many decent projects being mentioned, but nobody ever seems to speculate on the future of DEX's and how much volume we could potentially see on these.
Makes me sick to see people mention the "Binance DEX" as being a trust worthy DEX, when it's NOT a DEX in the first place!  Roll Eyes

What are you guys thoughts here?  Smiley
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Anyone trading on "Decentralized Exchanges"? on: February 12, 2020, 07:32:59 PM
Hey guys.

As of recently, we've seen a TON of DEX's being released, some of them better than others.
Which ones have you used personally? Which one do you like the most?

There's so many FAKE DEX's out there, that it's laughable. Binance "DEX", Waves DEX, IDEX, and more. None of these is truly decentralized at all

Been playing around with the Blocknet DEX: https://blockdx.com/ - And like it very much. Only thing that annoys me a little is that you need the blockchains (wallet's) fully synced with the DEX to trade, other than that, it's pretty easy to trade, and best of all, trustless.

Looking forward to their Litewallet, which will be a multi currency wallet, you can trade from without downloading any blockchains.

Thoughts? I'd love to know what you guys trade on.  Smiley
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Which DEX do you believe will be the most used 2 years from now, and why? on: November 19, 2019, 07:34:04 PM
The title says it all basically. The DEX competition is HUGE, so many projects seems to be competing in this field.
The first DEX on the market was Blocknet, pretty decent DEX, but there are so many out there.

What do you guys think? Smiley
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Making money through DEX fee's. The next big thing? on: November 06, 2019, 07:04:34 PM
As of late I've seen a lot on talk regarding Coinbase's $2 billion revenue on trading fees alone. I believe I stumpled upon this through Reddit a few days ago, not sure.

Makes you wonder how much DEX's could make long term if you decide to participate in running one through a masternode?
I looked into Blocknet the other day, and realized that if it ever gathers just 1% of Coinbase's trading volume, you could potentially make a living from running a masternode that collects DEX fee's whenever people trade.

Reason why most people don't care about DEX's today, is that they are inconvenient to use, but as I said, long term, they will improve, hopefully making more people use them.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Big money moving in next year, means greater demand for DEX projects? on: October 31, 2019, 07:02:13 PM
So I'm pretty convinced that we'll see a mega bull run next year due to the BTC halving. There's probably a LOT of wealthy people looking to invest, if the price starts to skyrocket again, but as we've seen in the past, these people are all about privacy.
Remember the Panama leakage a few years back? https://www.bbc.com/news/live/business-35944255/page/2

Wealthy people is likely to hide a ton of money in crypto, and while you could argue that most of them would hold privacy coins like XMR, there's also a fear that these will be illegal, and delisted/removed from centralized exchanges eventually.

This got me thinking, that perhaps decentralized exchanges where nobody can follow your trading history will get HUGE demand.
So perhaps it's not a bad idea to look into projects like Blocknet for the next bull run? If these DEX's takes off, the coin itself will be highly sought after.

Thoughts?

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Blocknet - Established In 2014. First DEX on the market. Price predictions? on: September 27, 2019, 09:45:47 PM
Seeing Blocknet dip below $1 (with a previous high at $55) tempts me to finally get a masternode in this coin.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a HUGE fan of masternodes, and hate myself every single day for not investing in a DASH node back in the days when it was affordable. At the current price range I could buy a node for less than $5k, which isn't too bad considering that it's one of the oldest projects around.

Massive upside potential, as it's a project still in development, and overall it just appeals way more to me than all these new ICO shit tokens with no products to show, no history or developments, just empty promises.

The whole Altcoin market has declined to a level where investors can get in at incredibly low prices.

What do you guys think? I'm eyeing a lot of projects, not talking about going all in at all, just believe this project has massive potential!
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Stakenet VS Komodo. Atomic Swaps / Lightning Swaps DEX on: August 12, 2019, 06:39:12 PM
Disclaimer: I'm an investor in both projects, so I'm biased.

So recently I've been reading up A LOT on decentralized trading, and peer to peer transactions. All these complaints on KYC submissions on various exchanges makes me confident that DEX's is gonna blow up in the future. This is EXACTLY why I decided to buy into Komodo, since I believe they'll be a huge player in the next alt season. Their Atomic DEX provides peer to peer trading via atomic swaps, but their recent test transactions took about 9 minutes, and that's quite som time to sit and wait compared to centralized exchange trading, hence why I understand why people don't like the DEX solutions currently available.

Next we got Stakenet, who's building a Lightning DEX, providing offchain peer to peer transactions, with near instant transactions, and lower fees. Lightning hasn't been easy to implement on Bitcoin, and there's a lot of doubters, but from what I've seen, this looks extremely promising, for a lot of reasons:

1) Nobody needs to sync with the DEX to use it, since all the chains is held by the masternodes running the DEX.
2) No KYC
3) No Registration process, just straight trading.

Comparing these 2 projects is hard, but it's obvious that I'm actually starting to be way more bullish on Stakenet, since I believe instant transactions will make people actually USE the DEX.

Not a fan of the whole "Binance DEX", since it's not a DEX in the first place. All the transactions is verified by Binance themselves (they own all the nodes), which isn't decentralized at all.

I'll hold both projects, since Komodo is the "safer" investment for now I guess, but I'm sure Stakenet will eventually outperform them.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Thoughts on Stakenet? Masternode based DEX and Multi Currency Wallet on: July 24, 2019, 06:32:53 PM
With the recent all time high BTC dominance percentage, I'm looking to scoop up some alts while they're cheap. Got some ARK the other day, and it turned out to be a good decision.

As I'm a huge fan og Proof Of Stake, and masternodes in general, I decided to do some research, to find the most promising masternode projects with an actual use case. Blocknet looks promising, but I don't like the way they run their DEX, and I certainly can't afford a masternode in it at this point in time.

I came across Stakenet, who wants to build a DEX running on masternodes, apparently all the nodes will host the chains supported by the network, which means nobody needs to SYNC with the network. That's the biggest issue as it is right now with most DEX's. Nobody uses them, because it's a pain in the ass, and it's too slow.

Their multi currency lightning wallet functions the same way, so the incentive to hold a masternode seems to be massive, since all the fees involved in their ecosystem of services is distributed to the nodes running it.
If their DEX takes off, it's gonna add up quickly.

How high could this go? It's sitting at like $10 mio in marketcap right now. 50x seems possible?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Stakenet Multi Currency Light Wallet With 1-Click Lightning Transactions on: June 27, 2019, 05:34:37 PM
Looked into this project the past week and hardly see the project mentioned much here.

What do you guys think about this wallet? Would you use it?

There are plenty of multi currency wallets out there, my personal favourite has been Exodus for it's ease of use, but it might change soon.

With 1-click Lightning transactions with a push of a button, TOR integration, and the news that UDST and other crypto coins are moving to lightning, this could be a game changer.

Like, imagine tethering up in your own wallet, with no need to send your coins outside your wallet?

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Low marketcap gems with huge potential? on: June 19, 2019, 07:07:02 PM
I'm kinda new to all this, and with less than $2000 on hand I'm looking for something with a lot of potential.
I considered throwing it all into BTC, But this trend will probably not continue on for much longer, so I'm betting on a few altcoins which could potentially go 10x, maybe even 50x

Im looking for a project that is building something with a future. So gambling tokens etc is not really my thing.

It's a bonus if I am rewarded for holding it too. So POW migh be out of the question?

Let me know what you guys think!
