Anyone who's thinking of buying anything from them. Don't. Just lost 7.4 BTC being a real airhead. save yourself the trouble.

Can we add a scam board to the top already. I know I should have done my homework but if there was a page listing all untrustworthy entities users have encountered that could only be a good thing.

11  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Nvidia GTX430/ ATI 6670 mixed mining, getting hashes but no shares. on: August 01, 2013, 10:54:34 AM
Hi all,

I'm using Guiminer to mine with 6670 while running desktop from GTX430 on a Windows 7 PC with an ASUS P5WDG board. There's no monitor connected to the 6670 and Guiminer picks it up fine as Turks. I googled around and found the problem might either be that Windows disables cards not connected to monitors but I cannot find the registry entry for that.

I also read about SDK problem's but that seems less likely. The console on guiminer keeps reporting:

2013-08-01 11:41:34: Listener for "M____li": 01/08/2013 11:41:34, Verification failed, check hardware!

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance.

13  Economy / Lending / [FILLED] Requesting 5 BTC Loan on: August 26, 2012, 11:38:28 PM
My name is Tshuutheni Emvula. I am seeking a 5BTC from 27/8/12 to at least 19/10/12 to invest 2.5 BTC in my Pyraming account ( and 2.5BTC in my MtGox account . I will repay 6.5BTC when I have made it back. I am currently in the process of also purchasing a small dedicated mining rig but I estimate that I will be able to make the BTC solely by trading. I require such a long repay period to ensure I can earn enough BTC. I spend an average of 6-10 hours everyday now for 1 week dealing solely with Bitcoin related activities and because I am self employed I am able to guarantee that I will continue to spend the time investing in my BTC.

I can repay in lump sum but I prefer being able to repay at 1BTC intervals when I make the gains. I will not use the loaned BTC for gambling.
14  Economy / Services / Are thre International delivery services that will accept Bitcoin? on: July 01, 2011, 01:34:38 PM
Is there a way to move small goods internationally with bitcoin or...well my issue is a bit more complex I need to send goods to Europe from Namibia but I know the delivery vendors here will not accept Bitcoin unless the delivery fee was paid in an acceptable currency like USD.

The problem is I don't want to trade Bitcoins for USD when selling the product, I want to keep them as Bitcoins. Any suggestions?
15  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Any useful flags for Nvidia9800GT for guiminer? on: July 01, 2011, 03:51:05 AM
Yes I know it's a horrible card for mining, I have no chance in hell of making any significant profit and all that jazz I get when I state my card model.

Is there anyone who might have an idea about what useful flags I could use for guiminer to maximize my MH/s speed. I can do a max of 49MH/s but I've Google around and seen guys get 80 with the same card unfortunately information on what flags they used to get there is not very forthcoming with much of my Google results in Russian.

I have searched the forum and found no useful entries.

16  Economy / Marketplace / Risky 5BTC loan for 6BTC over extended period. Only if you have surplus.(closed) on: July 01, 2011, 03:29:57 AM
Hi all,

Am a beginner trader on mtgox and tradehill and I do not have the resources currently to purchase btc in any considerable form due to geographical and financial constraints. So on advice from a forum member, I am asking for people with a sufficient surplus of bitcoin to loan me 5btc for an extended period not exceeding two months. (yes it sounds ridiculously long but I want to give myself enough time to get the money back through trading or alternatively have enough time for my machine to mine that amount in case I cannot make it in trading.)

I will of course attempt to pay back as soon as possible, given market fluctuations, mining difficulty and sheer luck. As soon as I have made the 6btc back I will return the loan.

I make no guarantees that I can pay back unconditionally, I do recognize the possibility of me loosing it all trading and acts of god, but I have no intention if ruining my reputation.

I know it is not much but I could grant the loanee access to my mtgox and deepbit accounts so that they can keep track of my progress and even give tihem permission to initiate the payment themselves (if you are that paranoid lol) as soon as I have made enough to repay the loan at which time I will change my login credentials to revoke access.

The loanee can also set terms which fit within my request or ask for me to make a compromise.

Edit deux:

The above is of course provided that one person loans the whole 5btc, I'm not about to give ten peeps my login details.

18  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Nvidia 9800GT and ATI HD2400 PRO on P5WDG2 motherboard, guiminer not recognizing on: June 30, 2011, 03:58:44 PM

19  Bitcoin / Mining / Looking for a mining platform for my miners to get 5 BTC, will share profit. on: June 26, 2011, 09:05:05 PM
Hi all,

I am a newbie miner with a Asus P5WDG2 Duo Core with 3 gigs DDR2 and an Nvidia 9800GT...yes, lame I know. So lame in fact I'm averaging a maximum of 30 MH/s which amounts to diddly squat. I have made a combined profit of about 0.0523 BTC in a whole three weeks of mining (3 miners on deepbit and 2 miners on slush).

I am attempting to earn bitcoins so that I can learn how to trade on Mt.Gox or other exchanges and with the way my mining is going, I will be going nowhere slowly. I am asking for one of you honourable gentlemen or regal ladies to help me out by providing my miners some time on your boxes to earn 5 BTC so that I can move forward.

I am not asking for a hand out, I have registered at most of the bitcoin trading and services sites and have posted my service offerings. I am a sound engineer and I will work for BTC when the bitcoin job market picks up. I have taken time to educate myself and spread the word on bitcoin. Even a search of my username should reveal that on this forum.

I am asking for honest help and I am ready to adhere to whatever terms in splitting of profits made by the miners that is required by anyone who wants to offer their help. I am not able to buy bitcoins with my cash because my country's banking system does not cater for online merchants if you are asking.

I am thanking anyone who takes the time to consider this post without jest or sarcasm and even those who do.
