3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Guldencoin - NLG starting to hit major media outlets. on: July 21, 2014, 07:20:05 AM
The one coin that is not part of the alt coin cartel is making it's way into mainstream media with it's new Guldenpay system.

This is the one the crypto cartels don't want you to know about.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / A non hype coin making grounds. Refreshing to see! on: May 31, 2014, 09:09:15 PM
I just have to say this is probably a oxymoron since I am going to be hyping a coin that has been very under the radar.

A country coin that is making grounds into the Netherlands and a team that is making constant updates. No PnD, no scam , a team that has revealed it's identity. In a world where we are battered with misinformation on a minute by minute basis you can sometimes pick out the diamonds in the rough if you lucky enough to stumble upon them.

I am not here to say invest in this coin but you should have a look.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Could NLG be worthy of complete Dutch backing? on: May 01, 2014, 09:26:31 PM
Guldencoin might be the first non scam country coin as they have already acquired a sizeable merchant such as subway's, sure it's only 1 branch for now but that is more then any other country coin is offering at this stage.

It will be interested to see if more dutch merchants and especially subway branches adopt guldencoin on a more national scale, it also wouldn't surprise me if the Netherlands becomes the leading country for Crypto currencies with the dutch having a proud history in being in the forefront of modern economics and trade in the last 200-300 years.

The great thing about guldencoin is the price has been stable and no evidence at this stage that it was setup as a PnD scheme like 99% of the coins these days.

I think if the dutch crypto community can get behind this one it will be a winner for sure... but hey what do I know.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Coinmarket.io has stolen all the BTC how would you deal with this? on: March 15, 2014, 06:45:09 AM

It's sad but true, the anonymous owner of coinmarket.io has scammed everyone on that exchange for there btc. They have allowed some alt coins to be withdrawn but no one has had the btc returned yet.

The name of the person who hosts the site is from Norway but has not given up the exchange owners details yet.

There is 2 ways this can be handled, illegally [mod note: I really don't want to be a censor but you should find a different place for discussions if you're into stuff like that] or by going the legal route, unfortunately both ways will result in not getting our bitcoins back but
I think it's time a example gets set for scam exchanges that will have a major impact on the future of Crypto currencies, lets be honest here how many more GOX's can btc handle before it's
too late and people lose complete faith?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Coinmarket.io The worst Alt Coin Scam exchange to date! on: March 12, 2014, 02:39:11 PM
It has been pretty much confirmed that coinmarket.io has scammed it's users and we talking about over 2000 btc as a modest estimate alone excluding the value of the alt coins that have been taken.

Not only was this a financial loss but a time wasting / emotional ride for it's users as they kept stringing the public along thinking they would come back online to try get as much deposits as possible
before finally going down for the last time yesterday.

It's one thing creating a scam coin but exchanges are far worse beasts, if this is going to be the new trend then I don't see much of a future for virtual currencies without heavy regulation.

They also had the arrogance to create a new exchange called CryptoEX.cc which has already stopped withdrawals for the few people that deposited.
