1  Other / Politics & Society / Unexpected Death? on: July 08, 2022, 04:40:49 PM
Shinzo Abe, former Prime Minister of Japan shot dead. Once after this incidents entire stocks in Japan have fallen. Though he is a former Prime Minister, he should've been given even better security. A country like Japan which is a leader to technology and innovation failing in security is really bad. Same time it has the stricter gun control law. The person who shot him have made the gun of his own.

Japan being a crypto friendly country it has got more real-time usage of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Does this incident have any impact over the cryptocurrency market.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Women's Day Wishes to all Women Bitcoiners on: March 08, 2022, 04:51:56 AM
We have been encountering a big difference between the number of men and women in the cryptospace. Simply the blockchain/cryptocurrency market is termed to be male dominated. With time the participation of women have been increasing. As per data from Google search I found the women in blockchain technology to be 12% and I'm not sure to what extent this is true. Same as that 41% of women in crypto are traders and the rest just keep hold for long term.

Some of the facts

About a quarter of Robinhood's crypto investors are Women
Less than 5% of crypto entrepreneurs are women
15% cryptocurrency traders are Women
25 - 44 age group Women constitute more than 80% of the cryptocurrency investment.

I request all the Women Bitcointalk users to share their stories of getting into the cryptospace.

Edit : More facts to be added upon search

Information Source : List of Wars

Above is the list of ongoing wars around the world, and it is clear to know the Russia - Ukraine war has begun in the year 2014 itself. Now Russia have invaded Ukraine. Afterall these many years we've got these many wars happening, but nothing is being connected to the economy or the cryptocurrency market. Now this has been making big news as World powers are getting connected. More of the technology dependence and alternate paths to overcome sanctions have made it third world war.

Quote
Joe Biden has said that any alternative to sanctions against Russia over Ukraine invasion would be the Third World War.

Make the response to be short, it can be in a single line. There will be difference of view. My view on it

"Financial Freedom that lets me retire earlier"

7  Local / Off-Topic (India) / IIT Genius arrested for creating an application on: November 10, 2020, 03:06:47 AM
Person from South India has been arrested for creating an application to function faster than the official booking application of India's train ticket booking irctc. In the article read about the application to function in exchange for a coin based system. Have anyone heard of this news. The article stated of the person has been arrested under the cybercrime. In my opinion this guy should've been recruited by the irctc to develop further than arresting.

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Banking System a Scam...!!! on: October 06, 2020, 05:58:59 AM
Godfrey Bloom, have anyone heard of him. It is the first time I'm hearing such a personality. He's a former member of the European Parliament. The statement of him made me know better about him.

"The entire banking system is a scam and the state an institution of theft".

The statements were true, and this person has bought his first bitcoin in his 70th age. And from the books written by him, it is clear that he's an economist too. Without knowing about the market and the goodness surely these people won't get into the cryptocurrency. Also he has clearly mentioned that I haven't changed my mind towards bitcoin, as he has accumulated large volume of gold and now as a form of diversification of investments I've done it.

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Blockchain Boom/Adoption on: September 29, 2020, 07:04:58 AM
Same as that we had internet bubble during 1990s, now we've been into the blockchain boom. This can't be stated as a boom, it is the period of blockchain adoption. Almost every sector has integrated their services along with blockchain technology. Most were in the early stage of development, and it isn't easy as the traditional methods of development. Developing a blockchain requires lot things to be considered, and developers find it hard as most weren't used to it.

With blockchain technology into usage every sector serves to function in a much efficient way than the traditional system. Let us take the automotive industry into consideration. When blockchain technology is used, each and everything associated with an automobile can be managed in a better way. In particular the taxation, insurance, loans associated with the automobile, emissions, and more other. Through blockchain technology the car owners too can benefit with paying only for what they've used. Simply road taxes were collected even if the car isn't used for a long. Through blockchain technology in a much effective manner one can pay for what is being used.

What is the opinion on the growth of blockchain technology in the global economy.
11  Other / Politics & Society / Prince Harry's break with the Royal Family is a historic event...! on: January 20, 2020, 12:37:42 PM
In an article it is stated that debate of Harry and Meghan's push for greater independence from royal family is like the brexit debate. The young liberals supporting the couple while the older conservatives backing the queen. What's the opinion of you people on this historic event. Another source has revealed that the couple is moving to Canada. Maybe soon they'll apply for permanent residence in Canada.

12  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin completed the Golden Cross. What next? on: May 04, 2019, 05:53:16 AM
A very important technical indication has happened yesterday. With the price moving above $5500 bitcoin completed the Golden Cross. It is the pattern indicating for a major price rally, where the short term moving average crosses the long term moving average which confirms for a short term price rally. This price rallying could take the price reach $7000 - $8000.

Note : Short term moving average - 50 day moving average
Long term moving average - 200 day moving average

For now it is good to look upon the good that is happening with bitcoin and make the decision and not to get into FUD or fall to the FOMO.
13  Economy / Economics / Comparison between the wallet Balance of BANKS vs CRYPTO EXCHANGES on: February 22, 2019, 02:20:58 AM

Gives an comparison between the wallet holdings of leading local banks with the largest cryptocurrency exchanges and the second image gives a comparison between the top five banks of UK and USA with leading cryptocurrency exchanges. The global trading platform of cryptocurrency lag behind 15 with comparison to the local banks, while these local banks hold over is 1000 times less than the top five banks of UK and USA.

If I'm correct we're far behind the financial institutions and we need more adoption to have a competence, as of now the technology is the key factor keeping the cryptocurrency strong in the market. With this it isn't possible to go mainstream to make a change on entire system followed throughout.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / IPL fever begins today....? on: April 07, 2018, 01:45:44 PM

15  Other / Meta / Can I use every sendable merits in a single day or do I have limitation...? on: February 09, 2018, 06:35:17 AM
The merit system is making a big change in the entire forum activities. Along with that it is hard to give merits finding good quality posts. For this reason I've planned to go through each and every section of the forum and merit to qualified posts. In this regard is there any limitations in spending of merits for a day or any time gap to send merits. Because we have time gap for each ranked member to make posts, before that we cannot make posts.
