Blockchain Investment Research Institute (ran by Chief Inkyu Song, a Professor of Korea University) held ‘B Capitalist’ Workshop and Blockchain Project Presentations at Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do between 6 and 7th of September.

‘B Capitalist’ is a process established by the Blockchain Investment Research Institute to develop one of the core technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution — the blockchain industry. Unlike other blockchain specialist courses, it combines traditional finance and crypto-assets such as futures, options, M&A, and funds.

A total of 50 attendees, including 30 1st and 2nd members, came to the 3rd Workshop. At the event, speakers introduced seven blockchain projects, including Delio’s cryptocurrency secured lending service called ‘Deliolending’ and SNS (Social Networks)’ renowned analysis project involving services and AI.

The judges were Minyang Cho Professor, Jhonghyuk Jang (CEO of Token Economy), Yongmun Kim (representative of Tembusu Investment), Zhonghei Ku (Secretary of LB Investment).

■ Seven Projects Competition —judges advise that “CEOs should understand technological matters”

‘Deliolending’ is a cryptocurrency secured lending service. Coins or tokens used are Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Delio (DLO). Delio is the token that operates Deliolending. The service consists of two methods — B2C Loan and Exchange-Based Loan.

James Jung (CEO of Delio) said, “We made a profit of 3.5 billion Won = (appr. $35 million USD) within the past 3 weeks”. “Wallet and partners will facilitate the expansion of our service”. He also estimated that the total market size of crypto secured loan will be 1 trillion Won (= appr. $10 billion USD).

According to James, Deliolending’s current yearly lending amount is ₩280 billion”. “The loan is available to 4 million members, including affiliate members such as exchange partners”. “Our target is to achieve ₩90 billion profit”.

TheBchain ‘Digital Asset Technology Trends and New Business’ Ends Successfully

TheBchain (CEO Yoonock Jang)’s ‘Digital Asset Technology Trends and New Business’ seminar ended successfully at Startup Center, Coex on Sep.5th.

On this day, James Jung (CEO of Delio), who started cryptocurrency loan service called ‘Deliolending’ on July, talked about ‘Exchange-Based Cryptocurrency Lending Model’.

According to James, “Deliolending will provide more benefits to Delio token holders, such as interest income, currency stability, and etc”. “In a bull market, using crypto lending might help investors make more profit through interest instead of selling”.
Deliolending offers 2 services — B2C loan and Exchange-Based loan, which use DLO (Delio token), BTC, and ETH as collateral and lend KRW (₩) directly.

James added, “Our current loanable amount is ₩280 billion (appr. $234 mil. USD); the goal is to raise it up to ₩1 trillion ($837 mil. USD)”. “So far, we’ve earned ₩300 million profit although our service has launched very recently”.

On September, B2C service will expand to online with wallet and partners joining Deliolending. The service area will also cover the United States, Japan, Europe and all over Asia.

The audience inquired about the volatility of cryptocurrency, loan period and margin trading.
Defi has become a buzzword in the blockchain industry. Defi is short for ‘Decentralized Finance’, refers to an ecosystem in which the legacy of the financial industry, like deposits, payments, and loans, are newly designed by blockchain and cryptocurrency.

Deliolending applies for ‘Exchange-Based Cryptocurrency Loan’ Patent of the U.S. and South Korea

On August 16, a blockchain company named Delio announced its cryptocurrency lending service called Deliolending has completed its patent application of the United States and South Korea.
Deliolending is an exchange-based cryptocurrency lending system. Unlike the other existing services, its patent highlights all transactions are made exclusively on the exchanges.

When an exchange user with an account applies for a loan, he or she can borrow crypto and cash by the amount of BTC / ETH / DLO (Delio coin) held on the exchange. Since the user can take advantage of real-time transfers through the exchange, it is easier and safer compared to other crypto loan services. The open API ensures high scalability as it provides cryptocurrency lending service to all exchanges across the world.

Deliolending has a various benefit structure for users, exchanges and investors. The users can conveniently and quickly get a secured loan. Also, they can trade or sell a portion of borrowed crypto on the exchange to get fiat money. Users can generate profit by trading or holding increased capital from the loan.

The investors can make a profit from Deliolending’s risk-free investment system which prevents principal loss and ensures a safe return on investment. The exchanges can make a profit of increased trading volume and revenue from new traders who are willing to use Deliolending.

It can increase liquidity in exchanges. To use the service, users need to hold a certain amount of DLO. Its serviceable area will expand to Asia, Europe, and the US. Soon, crypto secured loan service will be accessible via Delio’s wallet.
