In the midst of emerging deflationary currency projects, we have created an asset that does not self-destruct, but which slowly increases its volume every time it is used.

Based on the mining process in which we used the power of computers to obtain new currencies, we decided to apply this concept in a smart contract, where new currency fractions could be created whenever a transaction was carried out, replacing the workforce of mining equipments, by the asset's usability power. And so we created Palmes, an ERC20 token developed on the Ethereum platform.

Specifically in the case of Palmes, for each 1 unit of currency traded, a new fraction corresponding to 0.000001 is generated.
Contrary to what many people think, we believe that the currency would be capable of generating deflation by increasing demand, since its initial volume is only 100 k. In addition, it has only 6 decimal places, which means that only 1 whole unit of the currency will be able to generate some new fraction when transacted.

We also determined that the new fractions created will remain with the currency holders themselves, ensuring that their control is always in the hands of the community.

Em meio aos projetos emergentes de moedas deflacionárias, criamos  um ativo que não se autodestrói, mas que aumenta bem lentamente o seu volume toda vez que é utilizado.

Tomando como base o processo de mineração em que utilizamos o poder dos computadores para obter novas moedas, decidimos aplicar esse conceito em um contrato inteligente, onde novas frações de moeda pudessem ser criadas sempre que uma transação fosse realizada, substituindo a força de trabalho dos equipamentos de mineração, pelo poder de usabilidade do ativo. E assim criamos a Palmes, um token ERC20 desenvolvido na plataforma Ethereum.

Especificamente no caso da Palmes, para cada 1 unidade de moeda negociada, é gerada uma nova fração correspondente a 0,000001.
Ao contrário do que muitos pensam, acreditamos que a moeda seria capaz de gerar deflação pelo aumento de demanda, já que seu volume inicial é de apenas 100 k. Além disso possui apenas 6 casas decimais, o que significa que somente 1 unidade inteira da moeda será capaz de gerar alguma nova fração quando transacionada.

Determinamos ainda que as novas frações criadas ficarão com os próprios detentores da moeda, garantindo que seu controle esteja sempre nas mãos da comunidade.
