1  Other / Off-topic / Why don't we live in a harmonious world? on: June 19, 2020, 10:32:24 AM
Why do people still have disagreements (by gender, race, nationality and any other dividing factors)? Is it bad that we are all different in this? Each person has his own characteristics (appearance, character, interests, etc.), but we are all people, and we are all one! Why do people still argue with each other, why apply aggression to each other?

There is something that unites us all - this is Love and sanity.
2  Other / Off-topic / Why do people not understand that a man is a part of nature? on: June 10, 2020, 10:26:53 AM
Why do not all people understand that we are one with nature? When a person harms nature, treats nature irresponsibly, then he harms himself. After all, when we come to this world, our parents give us a body, then we grow, developing from the products that nature has given us. We come to this world and leave it, leaving everything here. Why do people need some great gains, some incessant thirst for power? After all, all we can do is transfer things from one place to another (this is not our merit, it does not belong to us). What kind of world will we leave for our children and grandchildren? When will we wake up?
3  Other / Politics & Society / Prolonged border closure on: April 28, 2020, 10:38:34 AM
What are the main problems that may arise if all countries close (or almost close) their borders for 1-2 years or more?

Fortunately, it cannot be said that some kind of isolation is felt now, because we can easily call (Skype) a person who lives in another country.
But what problems can arise?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Which crypto pair do you swap most often? on: March 19, 2020, 04:28:04 PM
Recently, I began to notice that some exchanges publish graphs of the most popular crypto pairs. For example, here is Poloniex or Changelly.

I was wondering if there is a certain correlation between the number of pairs and the quality of service, that is, the more pairs, the better the service and exchange conditions, or is it just random information that develops and heaps of different indicators? Does such info say anything at all?

Which pair do you swap, and how many are them?
5  Other / Off-topic / What methods are the most effective at the moment? on: March 12, 2020, 09:43:07 AM
There are many different ways to alternative energy. What methods are the most effective at the moment?

Imagine a situation that some kind of crisis or some global catastrophe happens, life is not the same as before. You live somewhere on your land with other people (a small community and something like that). Of course you can live without electricity - but this is very primitive. Suppose all technologies remain, even some factories and corporations work (but in much smaller volumes). Centralized electricity doesn't work or almost doesn't work. How to receive electricity most rationally in this case, in your opinion?
My opinion is that the cheapest and the best way is a special stove, which gives heat in the house and generates 5 kilowatts of electricity at a time. As fuel, you can use wood or coal. Trees can generally be grown on their own so as not to harm the environment (there are special types of trees that grow 10 times faster than ordinary trees, like special poplars or paulownia).
6  Economy / Exchanges / Pros and cons of your exchange on: November 12, 2019, 01:43:52 PM
I often use Binance, but it doesn't fit me completely, so I'm combining it with other exchanges. Before Coinbase increased their fees, I used it as well.
Now my working combination is Binance (ok for large amounts, safe enough, has a good reputation) + Changelly (fast transactions, fees to crypto are ok, responsive support team).
Do you have the same pairs of platforms? If so, which ones?

How did you choose your current exchange? Does it suit you completely?
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin and philantropy on: November 05, 2019, 05:37:11 PM
When we're talking about cryptocurrency, we donít usually discuss philanthropy ó donating to charity isnít something often considered. Most of the talks are all about earning, mining and trading crypto.
That's totally ok, but I believe that cryptocurrency may have some great features that could have a huge impact on charities and charitable giving.

I'd like to ask if you know any charity organizations (verified, of course) that accept BTC as a donation. And if so, which ones? I could only find that list, but it's quite short.

What's your opinion about Bitcoin donations? Did you ever donate your crypto to charity organizations? Why?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Gram vs Libra: is there any difference? on: October 16, 2019, 03:22:33 PM
I won't waste your time retelling the latest news about Libra and how it became non-welcomed among politics, banks, etc.
There's also TON project, which seems more acceptable among society, exchange platforms, communities, etc.

Comparing the feedback ó while Gram is 'delighted to be listed' by different exchanges (quote from here), Libra's just... 'not money' (quote from here).
So, could you explain, what's the difference between Libra and Gram and is there future for Gram coin?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Alts you won't invest in on: September 30, 2019, 04:51:09 PM
A lot of discussions on forum are all about "what coin should I buy? Why?"
Here's the opposite - I want to ask what alts you would never buy and why so.

My example:
Never buy BTT, Tron, Stellar and other coins where the tokens are giving away with all kinds of airdrops. Why? Emission grows with no influx of investors.
Doubting about Peercoin. Hybrid emission system doesn't seem reliable too, though lately PPC began spreading itself via well-known exchanges (changheangel or changelly - don't remember).
+ Libra. Not sure if any explanation needed.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / What are the longest fixed rates that were offered to you? on: September 27, 2019, 03:54:34 PM
Hi guys. Here's to discuss fixed rates and its lenght. I'm using Trezor wallet and this morning I found out that now they are fixing an exchanging rate for like 15 mins, cause of the partnership w/ changelly. That was actually one of the longest fixed rate I've seen yet.
So now I'm wondering, is there any list of services that indicate the duration of a fixed rate?
What are the longest fixed rates that were offered to you?
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Fiat-to-crypto: is it safe? on: September 25, 2019, 01:31:27 PM
Hey everyone. I'm new to crypto and I wanted to ask if there's a point of buying crypto with a credit card.
I found a lot of exchanges where users can easily (as they say) buy cryptocurrencies with their bank card. I mean, at binance they request like a lot of data about me, including my phone number or date of birth.
Aren't they selling my private info (that would explain 0,25$ fee on changelly for example), and doesn't that conflicts with the statement about my anonymity?

That would be fair for every fiat-to-crypto exchange, so my question is: do you use it and is it really safe?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Here to discuss UNUS SED LEO coin on: September 09, 2019, 03:32:21 PM
Here to discuss UNUS SED LEO coin. Who has heard anything about it?
Many articles assuming LEO has its growth potential, despite its specific.
I'm new to crypto, and I wanted to understand how LEO can cope with the crisis in iFinex. Also, many experts are saying that the coin is good for experienced investors (I read it on changelly blog). Why so?
13  Economy / Service Discussion / Apps for exchanging on: September 09, 2019, 03:26:21 PM
Can anyone recommend good apps on android for exchanging? What do you usually use? Was there anything new released recently? I'm new at this and interested in some non-custodial exchangers.
14  Other / Off-topic / Choosing etherium wallets on: September 03, 2019, 03:43:27 PM
Hey. At the moment I'm in the process of choosing the wallet for etherium (bye, paper). I've read a lot of theoretical stuff about different types of storages, but I also wanted to know about your experience. Any advice?
Thinking of KeepKey or Trezor.
