Built ontop of the Unobtanium Network
Unobtanium Network has been running for 8+ years.

What is Unoparty?
Unoparty is a layer 2 protocol built ontop of the Unobtanium Network, It is a fork of the popular Counterparty Protocol that runs on bitcoin's network
It allows users to create their own Assets/Tokens (NFT/FT's) and trade them using the unobtanium network, it brings its own DEX marketplace for these assets and
brings functions such as allowing users to turn their Unobtanium address into a dispenser giving it a vending machine like behavior (Users send x amount of UNO to receive x amount of ASSET).
Unoparty also provides API tools so users can develop websites and apps that can bring utility to their assets.
Documentation is also provided to show the basics of creating a wallet, assets and developing further.

What is XUP?
Unoparty's official token, used to create assets on our network. More info will be available in the future about this.

How do i get XUP
Once mainnet is released there will be a 30 day burn period which holders of UNO can burn their coin/s (more info on that later) to receive a certain amount of the XUP token.
There is no presale, ICO, or anything like that for this token - if nobody burns uno then there will be no XUP to use this protocol!

Does any XUP goto Developer/s?
Yes, upon each burn an additional 25% extra XUP will be created and goes directly to a developer wallet,
This then gets split up - with half of that going to future development/promotion and marketing (12.5%), the other half gets split into 3, with me, jdog(counterparty dev), and Javier(dogeparty dev) receiving just over 4% of that.

Further more on this topic, this project was created by me and I had charged no development fee's, I see this 'dev subsidy' a way to incentivize me to keep contributing to the project and hopefully XUP gaining value.
The bigger half of the split hopefully enables the project a way to grow (with promotion/marketing) and a way to pay for any future development that community may provide.
There may be still times when we will approach the community for funding for Improvement's to the protocol but we will avoid if we can.



Current Status
Unoparty is still in development, currently running on Unobtanium's Testnet.
We will announce the mainnet release date before it goes live.
Once released for 30 days there will be a Burn Period which allows users to burn their UNO coins to create the Unoparty Token (XUP), More info on that will be released in the future.

Unobtanium is a bitcoin clone that has been running for over 8 years,
it was built by a guy known as Blazr and since maintained by many members of the community.

Getting Started?
To begin using you must first create a wallet (testnet currently), Obtain some Testnet uno ( Can get from the unoparty telegram - link at bottom of page, or ask post your address on this thread or in the telegram channel. ).

Step by step on getting started using the testnet
1. Create a wallet ( using the web wallet or desktop wallet
2. Either Join Unobtanium Telegram channel, Discord Channel/Contact our twitter or Comment on this thread
3. Ask for some Testnet Uno ( There is a bot that makes this easy in the channel )
4. Read the Docs

This was initially created by terhnt (Bitwize on telegram), but have had many help bring this project to live including but not limited to;
JDOG(counterparty dev), Javier(Dogeparty Dev), Falling Knife, Pureboy, Josey, ekcdd, w3nbo, shinohai, shannoncode, indigo and more.

We have much more coming with this project, and have had support from the Counterparty and Dogeparty devs, we are the Fourth Coin to use the Counterparty technology!
We also have plans to reward some users with assets created on both counterparty and unoparty once mainnet is released - more info to come.
