1. Gambling in fact has many negative externalities. If someone gets addicted, the likelihood is much higher to be depressed. Depression is factor, which leads to high costs for the society.

2. Gambling addiction leads to economic costs because of crime actions. Other market actors have to increase their security standards, which means higher costs.

3. Many gambling addicts go as a consequence to jail. Jail means EXTREMELY high costs to society.

what do yout think about a new game, which involves both luck and skill like poker? Is there already such an alternative on the market? The problem with poker is that it is already solved by algorithms. Sure, there are still some players, but not as much as in the old glory times...

in meiner Stadt in der ich lebe fehlt gerade ein Online-Portal, welches sich ausschließlich auf die Stadt und Umgebung bezieht, in welchem die Bürger kleinere Jobs anbieten können. Bspw: Gartenhilfe, Gassigehen, Hilfe für ältere Menschen & Co. Ich habe mir als Ziel gesetzt hier die Lücke zu schließen und solch eine Homepage ins Leben zu rufen. Bisher habe ich etwas Erfahrung mit WordPress, daher würde ich dazu tendieren mir ein entsprechendes PlugIn zu besorgen, welches mir einiges an Arbeit ersparen würde.

Folgende Fragen habe ich:

1. Welche rechtlichen Fragestellungen muss ich hierbei beachten? Kann ich als Seitenbetreiber dafür haftbar gemacht werden, wenn Personen meine Seite für Schwarzarbeit benutzen?
2. Macht der Weg über ein WordPress-Theme Sinn oder gibt es elegantere Möglichkeiten?

Wichtig: Die Monetarisierung steht nicht im Fokus, ich würde mich allein darüber freuen, wenn hier durch meine Arbeit ein sozialer Mehrwert entsteht. Natürlich sollten aus diesem Grund auch die Kosten für mich überschaubar sein.

Über Hilfestellung zu den beiden Fragen wäre ich sehr dankbar.

der Titel ist ein wenig Clickbait, I know, aber jetzt hab' ich euch.

Mich würde interessieren wie und wann ihr zum ersten Mal von Bitcoin oder Cryptowährungen gehört habt. Könnt ihr euch noch daran erinnern? Wart ihr sofort dabei oder hat es länger gedauert bis ihr euch wirklich dafür interessiert habt? Was waren eure ersten Gedanken zum Thema? Eher positiv oder negativ? War Bitcoin die erste Cryptowährung oder vielleicht doch sogar ein Altcoin?

Meine Erfahrung:

Ich habe zum ersten Mal in einem Uni-Seminar 2017 von der Thematik gehört. Das Seminar wurde von Prof. Thorsten Polleit geleitet. In diesem Kontext ging es um den libertären Ansatz. Bis heute bin ich bzgl. des Libertarismus stark polarisiert. In einigen Punkten stimme ich voll zu, in anderen überhaupt nicht. Insbesondere die soziale Komponente gefällt mich nicht. Allerdings möchte ich hier keine politische Diskussion entstehen lassen. Jedenfalls ging es dann auch um Ludwig von Mises und den Währungswettbewerb von Hayek. Hier kam die Frage auf, ob Bitcoin ein konkurrierendes System zu den Fiat-Währungen darstellt. Mein erster Eindruck war damals eher negativ, da ich mich damals eher dem linkeren Spektrum verbunden fühlte und Hayek ziemlich pauschal ablehnte. Mittlerweile sehe ich das durchaus differenzierter.

"Angefixt" mit dem Thema wurde ich dann erst ein Jahr später Anfang 2018 bei einer Uni-Veranstaltung zum Thema Blockchain. Insbesondere die potentielle Möglichkeit mit dieser Technologie Politik ganz anders zu gestalten fand ich unglaublich faszinierend. Somit habe ich mich in die Thematik eingelesen. Die Möglichkeit mittels Coinsurfer kostenlos Satoshis zu erhalten war für mich dann der endgültige Einstieg in die Cryptowelt und bereits nach einem Monat mit der Surfbar konnte ich die erste Transaktion vornehmen.

Already after a few minutes the visibility became clearer again. A shrill beep sounded and Emma jumped out of the sliding door in her space suit, which automatically closed again behind her with a loud hiss at lightning speed. The spacesuit weighed heavily on her skin and scraped it open. It hurt with every movement. The next shipment of aluminium from earth, which was urgently needed for the production of the fluffier spacesuit was unfortunately out of stock for several weeks. So at the moment Emma couldn't avoid going out into the hostile outer world of the planet with her older brother's equipment.

Emma moved towards the dusty and red Jeff-Bezos-Avenue, which shone in a bright green through her VR-glasses integrated in her helmet and was lined with so-called birch trees. In her digital display of the helmet, the total amount of her remaining Green Coins for one year was shown in the upper right corner. These Green Coins were distributed at the beginning of each year and linked to the emission of CO2. Each planet's inhabitants thus had a certain budget of CO2 that they could consume. If there were no Green Coins left, new Green Coins had to be purchased via BTC. Unfortunately, the financial development was such that the complete dominance of the BTC meant that classic redistribution mechanisms of the state, such as taxes, failed completely. Especially the richest of the richest hoarded vast amounts of the central crypto currency and the distribution of wealth had turned even more in their favour. There were already calls from the people to expropriate Bitcoin whales by force. Paradoxically, this was not possible because nobody knew exactly who was among the richest of the richest. The wealthy had meanwhile understood not to show their wealth in public. There were already several cases in the past weeks in which the stock of Green Coins for individual persons was used up and the smart contract "Kill" was activated. The people were then liquidated by simply cutting off the oxygen supply to the protective suit.

Emma's green coin budget was only enough for a few hours. She felt sick at the thought of it. Emma sensed that she was starting to sweat and got out of breath. Normally the cleaning was done automatically by drones, but sometimes a new firmware caused problems. In this case the problem was not with the firmware, but with a gang of youths who were in the process of stowing the drones in their Cybertruck 14. In Darknet these old drones could probably still be turned into BTC. Her pulse suddenly shot up when she realized that the youth gang was armed. They had a huge amount of AVA with them. AVA was probably the biggest chance of all to end the domination of Bitcoin, but unfortunately AVA was too complex and too complicated for the average citizen. Now they were worthless, but as a throwing weapon AVA was very popular. Emma was thrown several AVAs against the helmet, which immediately pushed in. Emma felt a sharp blow and noticed her eyes turn black. Emma lay on the ground for several hours until she woke up. She felt queasy. Then she noticed that the Green Coins had already been used up and the oxygen supply had already been cut off. She had a few minutes left.

Emma was dying. Then she suddenly received a notification in her helmet. An ominous group from the German forum section of Bitcointalk called "Bitcoin Group Mining" had finally managed to dig a block together for the first time. Emma had completely forgotten that she had been a participant again and again over the past decades. The mined BTCs had already arrived on Emma's wallet. With her last ounce of strength she exchanged the BTC for the rescuing green coins. Just in time and not a second too early. The rescuing oxygen flowed into her helmet and she sucked it in deeply. "Green Coin desperately needs a fork," she made up her mind and headed for Planet Central...

in this thread I would like to give an overview about different methods to earn passive income with a Raspberry Pi. There is some preparation needed, but in the end it will pay off. In the following I will describe these different passive-income-options. If you have other ideas, recommendations or improvements, which can be used to make passive income using the PI, feel free to post it in this thread. At this moment all three options work simultaneously at the same time at my Raspberry Pi 4. I suppose the RAM is not sufficient for running all options simultaneously for older versions, e.g. the Raspi 3.

Option 2: Use coinpot!

Coinpot is a cryptocurrency microwallet. You have to use their multiplier with 4 tabs simultaneously. This way you will earn around 1000 satoshis/day. I recommend to start with at least 10k tokens. These tokens can be exchanged to BTC very easily. You will of course loose money with the multiplier, but the rewards will compensate the losses. I edited the OP accordingly. Option 3: Automate your faucets!

I suppose most of you know about faucets. This is usually not allowed by most faucets, so please be advised that using this strategy can lead to you account being banned. There are a lot of different scipts you can find for Greasy Fork or Tampermonkey. Just install the script and leave a tab with for e.g. Freebitcoin open. But what about the electricity costs?

Electricity costs are crucial when it comes to the situation, that you have to pay for electricity, which is usually the case. If you live in a student dorm you should definetly consider mining. Costs for using the Pi 24/7 are highly depending on your costs for electricity, but shouldn't exceed a maximum of 10 USD per year. Take a look at the numbers:

Circles hat mich zuerst ein wenig an Palai erinnert. Allerdings ist dieses Projekt wesentlich professioneller aufgezogen, es handelt sich WIRKLICH um eine dezentrale Währung (Palai war nichtmal mehr eine Kryptowährung) und auch das Team ist sehr transparent.
