1  Economy / Games and rounds / 🐹 [DAPP] mia.bet | MARBLE RACING BETTING PLATFORM 🤑 on: November 30, 2020, 05:11:13 PM

What is "Mia & the Marbles"
We're the world's first marble race platform on the Blockchain. Powered by smart contracts. Pet hamster Mia provides us with real-world randomness.
On our platform you can place bets on marbles using $ETH. Similar to horse race betting, we use a parimutuel betting system.

Why should you trust us?
You should trust nobody. However, you can convince yourself of our trustworthiness by the following three components we provide:

  • Real-world physical randomness: Pet hamster Mia's unpredictable movements play a major role in generating the outcome of the marble race.
  • Smart Contract: escrows bets until winners are paid out or all players are refunded.
  • Provable live video stream: guarantees that the draws and races have not been pre-recorded or tampered in any way.

2  Economy / Games and rounds / 🐹 Introducing mia.bet: Bet on hamster 🐹 powered marble races | beta on: December 08, 2019, 10:38:57 PM

Hello Everyone

Over the last two years we have been working on a betting dapp for real marble races, which

- is powered by an actual living hamster
- is provably safe by the use of an Ethereum smart contract
- takes real-world randomness from the hamsters movements which is running in a wheel
- has a provable-live video stream

We think this is a novel combination of real-world random events and blockchain technology, and would love to hear your thoughts.

We just launched the beta on the Goerli testnet: https://mia.bet
Any sort of feedback is welcome!
