.
Desde ya, espero que ésta idea prospere. Y sigan minando!!!!
4  Bitcoin / Mining support / about crypto-engines. on: January 05, 2013, 03:23:52 AM
some time ago i was looking for a CPU miner and there were a pair of  miners using special instructions on it.

now, there is no miner using similar technics, and i want to ask:

- why are these int deprecated?
- how could it being ignored, even when thats help reducing CPU overload?
- on ARM architecture, why this cannot be optimized to use these hash capabilities?
-isn't it more power efficient?
5  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / [QUESTION] Clients connections on: July 29, 2011, 07:43:44 PM
I have 2 machines with the oficial client connected on 2 differents ISP. one gets only 8 connections as much and when I run p2pool adds one more. The another client shows once only 35 but when the time passes get more connections. Actually on the last one I have between 70 and 80, suddenly connecting and disconnecting 2 or 3. Is strange to note the first one never adquires more connections when I use the other ISP.

Is this normal? Can this be risky? I don't understand if this can be used to trace clients or not but I suspect this can be a risk if someone lives on a despotic country.

8  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / sha-256 engines on: July 12, 2011, 05:44:27 AM
I was reading a lot about FPGA miner and seeking a lot of info.

I want to ask for reasons to use ( or not ) any chip created until now to optimize or make a hardware miner. These maybe become the future of mining and there is not so much interest except for the Modular FPGA miner http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=22426.0
9  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / [QUESTION] Distributeds pools on top of bitcoin protocol on: July 06, 2011, 05:27:21 AM
is there a hope to implement distributed hash calc on the bitcoin network?

pools are concentrating too much power and constant attacks degrades the future of bitcoin.
10  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Possible TPM use to improve CPU mining? on: July 03, 2011, 04:10:02 PM
I was reading a lot of things and maybe I found something useful (or not). Because I am not programmer (not a savvy one, at least) I want to ask somebody if this is a posibility of improvement.

http://www.trustedcomputinggroup.org/files/resource_files/72563193-1A4B-B294-D07815857DD45716/SHA1-Impact_V2.0.pdf

On this PDF says the TPM has an SHA engine. In argentina there are 3 million of computers with this module.

Is possible to use this service or not.
