1  Other / Off-topic / What do you think of Windows 11? on: August 24, 2021, 12:09:56 PM
Microsoft recently announced a new generation of its operating system - Windows 11, and now its first public and stable beta release. Windows 11 is the biggest update to the Windows platform since the launch of Windows 10 in 2015. The public beta of Windows 11 is already available for download, and a full release is expected during the holiday season.

What is your opinion about the Microsoft's new flagship operating system? Have you tried it already?
2  Other / Off-topic / How to find the top ranking websites in a specific niche on: July 13, 2021, 04:10:42 PM
If you want to start writing for a particular niche, then it is better to start researching. I am wondering how you can find the top ranking websites within a specific niche?
There are services like "The top sites" by Alexa and "Top Website Rankings" by similarweb. Do you know of any others?
3  Economy / Speculation / Is $65,000 the peak of this bull market? on: May 23, 2021, 11:00:48 AM
BTC still holding the $35,000 level. Although we cannot be certain, the technical indicators and Bitcoin psychological trends support the possibility that we will see a rally soon.
Hopefully, Bitcoin will see new all time highs.

Do you think $65,000 represents the peak of the current bull market?
5  Other / Meta / @JohnnyLVC - Abuse and violation of the forum's good practices on: April 07, 2021, 12:57:46 PM
I just noticed something in the Off-topic board that I feel deserves special attention from the moderators.
In the last hour, user JohnnyLVC has created as many as 16 new threads with recurring topic with the intention of promoting links to his personal website (presumably). I realized the futility of reporting all of his posts to the moderator after I began doing so. Instead, I decided to open this topic for moderators to review and decide on appropriate measures.;threads;u=2002039;sa=showPosts [archived]

An example of one of his posts:
Free File fits everyone’s budget, if there are any other queries that you need help with you can always contact your local tax relief firm and get yourself professional assistance.

Isn't this kind of conduct and blatant violation of forum rules worthy of a tougher punishment, such as a permanent ban, rather than only deleting spam posts?
6  Other / Off-topic / Happy Easter everyone! on: April 04, 2021, 08:20:27 AM
Easter is a time to meet with family and friends to celebrate new beginnings. Just keep in mind that the more time you spend looking for Easter eggs, the more calories you burn.  Cheesy

I hope you're enjoying Easter Sunday with your loved ones!
7  Other / Meta / Multiaccounting? on: January 05, 2021, 12:53:21 PM
Why there are no rules against multi-accounting on the bitcointalk forum?

I see many multi-accounting cases exposed in the Reputation section, but the accused are not banned from the forum. What would be the value of users who create multiple accounts? What are the positive things that can be expected from them? They're probably all potential scammers and cheaters.
8  Other / Off-topic / Just for fun -- what does your forum username stand for? on: December 28, 2020, 09:10:31 PM
I've only been here for a couple of months, but I love this community, and I feel like I'm getting to know the personalities of some chaps!

I'm always curious how you're coming up with your usernames. What does it mean? Does it have some symbolic meaning?
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Non-Standard Casino Games on: December 01, 2020, 01:20:36 PM
I have to admit, I'm not a rather actively involved in online gaming, but well, curiosity didn't give me peace of mind, so I decided to try out what it feels like to play at different online casinos and what games they have. What I've noticed is that sometimes 'standard' becomes boring and at some point, dice, roulette or slots can feel somewhat monotonous.

What unusual and non-standard games did you play? What are the online casinos offering something unique and fresh?
(I plan to make a consolidated list with all the suggestions you post in this thread.)

It's a SCAM! You have to pay them 0.02 BTC to become 'verified' so you can withdraw. You can imagine what happens after that. I don't feel like risking it.  Grin
