1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN]Spectrecoin[XSPEC] TOR+OBFS4, Ring Sig, Stealth! on: August 19, 2017, 08:13:04 PM

!!! IMPORTANT UPDATE !!!
There have been several recent positive changes for xspec. For the latest in Spectreproject information, please come to the Spectrecoin Discord Server and see the announcements channel. Thank you!

SpectreCoin (xspec) was created late 2016 in a genesis transaction with 95% of the 20 million XSPEC supply going to investors in it's ico.

SpectreCoin features an energy-efficient proof-of-stake algorithm providing fast transaction confirmations and a fully integrated TOR+OBFS4 layer for network privacy almost anywhere in the world. Under the radar and approaching it's one year anniversary the community believed it was time for a new thread  to update and present SpectreCoin to more potential users.

Spectrecoin’s Roadmap prioritises privacy, security, and true decentralisation like no other coin in crypto-currency today. And the SpectreProject will further refine the desktop clients and add innovative features to the project such as low-power mobile wallet staking in the upcoming Android wallet.

We invite you to join us... as the world’s economies and their people move into the digital age…. with only their cell phones.

2  Bitcoin / Pools / P2Pool still sending payout on: July 22, 2014, 08:13:01 PM
I'm a little puzzled by this.
I mined for about 24 hours on a true p2pool.
About 10:00 this morning, I switched to another coin.
At first since there were coins in my wallet that needed confirm I didn't pay a lot of attention.
Then I noticed the wallet is still receiving coins and its now after 4:00pm.

I checked the pool and my wallet address shows no hash.
I'm running 4 Zeus Blizzards and was hitting over 5Mhs, almost a quarter of the pools rate.
Is this some sort of residual reward coming in or is my miner rig still hooked up and I can't se it ?
btw the amount of coins is still good coming in, like I never left.
Weird.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Solo Mining question on: May 06, 2014, 01:40:31 PM
Have searched this and haven't found a clear answer.

I'm mining an alt coin (lets call it coin A) solo with the instructions found here and having success.
I'm using CGMiner and using the wallet as the server. Lack of a better description mining "through" the wallet.

My question is I own another coin (Coin B) that's closed for POW, is currently POS and  stakes by the wallet.
Seems like when I  have wallet for coin B open so it will stake, I get no blocks on the miner.
I open it after the mining has started.

Is wallet B interfering with the mining of coin A? Or is it just solo mining luck?

Thanks for any answers.
