This is a seed kernel announcement of The Tribe, a mutual benefit DAO.

This is the beginning of a very special journey, of a long-held idea now being revived from the dustbin of history, reborn for the blockchain age.

Introduction

The Tribe is a voluntary, opt-in, mutual benefit organization akin to historical Asian mutual aid societies.  The sole purpose of its existence is to level-up its members, and level-up the world as a result.  The Tribe combines the modern principles of decentralized education, gamification, and blockchain autonomous management with ancient practices of networks, fellowships, tribes, and clans supporting each other, possibly across great distances, as Chinese mutual aid societies supported Chinese expats laboring overseas in poor working conditions with little local support.  Modern society has stripped away the support layers provided by clans of old, and this ambitious project presumes that technology can help heal that rift.

One member, one vote.  Benefits are made available equally to all members.
