1  Economy / Services / Custom alerts service on: September 21, 2020, 08:56:47 AM
Need to watch an event and get an alert when it happens? There are a TON of cryptocurrency alert apps out there, go ahead and try them. Most probably, you'll be happy with what you get.

If you're still here though, I'm assuming you need something custom. Tell me what you want and I'll build it. If you're proficient with tech then I'll give you the source code for free so you can run it on a server of your choice.

If you however need me to host it, then it'll cost either $99 annually or $10 monthly, your choice.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in? on: September 21, 2020, 08:36:13 AM
A lot of people have been burned by founders running away with with ICO money. It tarnishes the reputation of cryptocurrencies and I believe we should help educate new investors as soon as possible.

Can anyone share a checklist of the things they look for to determine if a coin is worth investing in?

And what are the red flags that you often see people fall for?
3  Economy / Services / I will help you automate any recurring or tedious task on: September 18, 2020, 07:36:45 AM
Hi everyone,

Respond below with what task you're tired of doing over and over and I'll help you automate it.

Simple tasks are free but complex tasks can cost $25+ depending on difficulty.

Example simple tasks:
1. I want to tweet everytime I make a trade
2. I want to save every trade I make into a spreadsheet
3. I want to receive notifications on discord/telegram when a specific event happens (complexity depends on the event you want to track)
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How do you guys tackle information overload? on: September 17, 2020, 11:27:08 AM
Usually, when it comes to cryptocurrency investments, I go through the following steps

1) General research to find out about any new coins to invest in
2) Preliminary research to see if the coin is legit or worth investing in
3) Ongoing research to find out market events that can impact a coin's price

Step 2 is rather straight forward but the one I have an issue with is #1 and #3. There is just so much information going around that I end up just sticking to the tried and tested ones like Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.

Do you guys have any suggestions or workflows on how to tackle information overload?
5  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Does a smart wallet exist? on: September 17, 2020, 10:12:11 AM
Does anyone else think cryptocurrency wallets are quite primitive in comparison to bank accounts?

With a bank account:
1. I get notified for each transaction that occurs.
2. I get a transaction history to review what goes in and out of my wallet.

Does a smart wallet with these kinds of features exist? Can you guys think of other features you wish cryptocurrency wallets had? Does my question even make sense or do I have it all wrong?
