1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Accidentally sent a transaction with 50 sat/b. Will I have to wait long? on: July 28, 2020, 06:56:56 PM
Haven't been using bitcoin in over a year so I've no idea where to check or how to make it faster. Can I still spend the output with higher fee to make it confirm faster?
2  Economy / Currency exchange / Need $10 of paypal for BTC. on: October 18, 2018, 08:54:37 AM
Trusted only.
3  Economy / Currency exchange / Looking for 50 Euro Paysafecard. on: March 10, 2017, 05:14:57 AM
Anyone trusted can get me that?  I'll pay 0.06BTC.
4  Economy / Currency exchange / Urgently need 95$ paypal. Have 0.1BTC. on: February 14, 2017, 03:21:39 PM
Title says it all.  Trusted users only.
5  Other / Meta / About "Online" Wallets section. on: October 05, 2016, 02:07:02 PM
I think it should be renamed to "Web" Wallets instead.  It's a no-brainer for most people who are used to bitcoins but the new users might get confused by the word "Online".  Even bitcoin core can be considered online wallet.
6  Economy / Reputation / Anyone else feel this is suspicious? Or is it just me? on: September 11, 2016, 06:01:43 AM
Found this thread about somebody asking about selling DT account.  I noticed that the OP of that thread have a one day old positive feedback from Vjain (A DT user under DeaDTerra) saying:

...with no reference.  I found no thread about Piper67 selling domain recently and Vjain never posted a thing since 2014.  Also he changed his password yesterday.
7  Bitcoin / Electrum / Electrum 2.6.4, something odd happened. on: July 01, 2016, 03:13:08 AM
It generates a change address when it shouldn't.  I included what's left of my balance to the fee so the change address is not receiving anything.
This causes the rejected because of dust error when I try to rebroadcast it.

Edit:
Gone after I closed an reopened electrum. Couldn't take a screenie but looks like someone reported the same problem on github.
8  Other / Meta / Brute force attack in progress? on: June 27, 2016, 02:57:41 AM
Who's online page showing unusually large amount of "Guest    XX:XX:XX XX    Logging into the forum.".  Is that normal?

Looks like there's no captcha requests when logging in.  I could've swore it was there before...
9  Bitcoin / Electrum / How do I know where I installed Electrum? on: June 15, 2016, 03:58:52 PM
Title.  I forgot where I installed it.  Windows 8.1 search is being b*tch here.  Can't find electrum.exe or its shortcut.
Also, when I run electrum-2.6.4.exe from electrum.org I went straight to the wallet instead of any installation menu.  Is that normal?

*Update*
Never mind.  Turns out I had it installed on an external HD.  And electrum-2.6.4-setup.exe is the installer, not electrum-2.6.4.exe.  Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed
10  Other / Meta / Am I the only one seeing this? on: June 14, 2016, 09:07:51 PM
—If not, is this allowed?

Made some changes on my PC and saw that.  It was just white before.

12  Other / Meta / watched threads with unread posts not showing up on Watchlist. on: March 18, 2016, 07:01:48 AM
hey guys. in a bit of a confusion here.
a lot of my watched topics isn't listed on my watchlist. should that happen? I've added posted-to topics to watchlist yet a lot of them are still missing from the watchlist even though there's a new post.

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / what's this transaction? on: February 01, 2016, 09:09:57 PM
https://blockchain.info/tx/9c9bd884e72467d426ed8f07e21c6f2b2340e30cff24cb899e0ee7e4fe052439

someone sent 63BTC from multiple addresses to lots of other addresses and one of them is mine. I just noticed it today because I stopped using my blockchain addresses months ago. anyone got any idea what this is?
15  Other / Off-topic / got a quick math(?) question. on: January 28, 2016, 10:52:41 PM
first off. sorry if this sounds stupid.  Tongue

say I have to choose between three options with coin flipping, but can only flip the coin 2 times. first flip between option #1 (heads) and #2 (tails) and the second one between #3 (tails) and whichever option that was picked in the first flip (heads).
which option gets a better chance of getting picked?
16  Other / Meta / Suggesting a warning on the digital goods section. on: January 26, 2016, 08:31:51 PM
so.... since a lot of the threads there probably won't get deleted, why not put up a warning similar the one on the investor-based games there (on digital goods)?
I originally thought that pinning OGnasty's topic here will do, but I figured that half of the internet tend to skip stickies. ofc doing both would be better.

I'm not 100% sure that this will reduce the amount of people getting scammed there though. mainly because I don't know how many users there know what kind of risk they're taking.
what do you guys think?
17  Economy / Scam Accusations / UPDATED! alts of confirmation120 on: October 12, 2015, 02:00:11 PM
updated. please refer to this post > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1206631.msg14460311#msg14460311

I received a PM from confirmation120.
Enjoy all the negative feedback idiot next time dont post where your opinion means shit.

now I see 5 new negative feedbacks on my trust page, all were given on a same date.

I believe all of those accounts are owned by the same person.
proof: archives of Relex's, Firedude's, Snoopy1's and bitcoin1900's profile pages. as you can see all of them were last active around the same time.

thanks.  Smiley
