2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / DeFi meets Privacy and Compliance on a new Blockchain Network! on: June 20, 2021, 08:11:30 AM

Hi all, I happen to get in on a project which seems to be in stealth mode at the moment and felt it would be a great idea to share in here. Well, I'm not sharing to grow my bags as they are still in private sales and anyone in here can get in before they go viral on some media outlets.

Bictory Finance is building a financial suite of products (CEX,DEX, Crowdfunding Platform) on Concordium Blockchain. The problems that mainly exist in the DeFi Space are:

1. DeFi Ecosystem built on non-compliant infrastructure
2. Inadequate liquidity on DEXes
3. Complicated KYC and Whitelisting Process on exchanges and Crowdfunding Platforms

How they plan to solve these problems
Using Concordium's protocol level ID Layer that makes KYC way easier for whitelisting process and other verification.
This also ensures total privacy unless requested by a certified legal permission.
They would use a proactive market-making protocol to help boost liquidity on their upcoming DEX.

The main reason for choosing Concordium Network to deploy their solutions are below

What really catches my attention is the tokenomics of this project! A huge ecosystem like that has only 100M in total supply. Come to think of it and all the utilities tied to it. If my memory serves me right after having a look at the deck which was sent to me after signing the SAFT.

Utilities tied against $BT tokens are
1. Discounts on trading fees
2. Listing fees on CEXes
3. Allocating major portion of DEX fees to liquidity providers.
Basically, their native token $BT token will be the only utility token in their ecosystem.

In the meantime, these are some useful links that y'all might want to have to know more about this project.

3  Economy / Services / Rust Developers Needed Urgently on: March 20, 2021, 10:54:55 AM
Hello friends,
it's been a long while since I shared any post in here. I happen to be involved in a project that has been baking close to a year now. Feel free to reach out to one of their representatives on telegram @hexaney or better still send me a dm and I would get you connected as soon as possible. They want Rust Developers that can help build on the Concordium Blockchain. They have developed the exchange about 80% completed so I heard. Let me know if anyone of you is interested.
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Can a close pull request be viewed and added to the main branch on: November 11, 2020, 06:48:44 PM
If someone opens a pull request from a project and decides to close it later on can the content of his submission be viewed and also added to the project's branch in case they want to merge it?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Be careful using MEW to create Ethereum wallet and also opening them on: May 09, 2020, 02:22:59 PM
I created a topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5246731.msg54384321#msg54384321 earlier describing how I was finding it difficult logging into my Ethereum wallet which I created last year. I saved only the keystone file because of a past experience where I lost huge amount of money by saving my private keys. I decided to open this new wallet which I use my keystone file to access about two days ago and the feedback I received got me disturbed. Initially, I thought this was just a little glitch and I could get it solved but it happens my funds are gone forever.

I reported this in several other communities and it seems this has been the fate of others as well. Going forward I want us all to take the advice of not using Myetherwallet platform in creating and accessing our ethereum wallets.  I think there is a loophole with their platform and hackers are exploiting it at some point in time and the saddest thing is that they are not aware of this loophole. If you have ever been a victim of this situation please support this post with just a comment just to warn other forum members to stay away from using MyEtherwallet and if your funds are valuable to you I suggest you start moving them one after the other!

Below is the image of feedback that I get when I try accessing my wallet. I have open this wallet for like 3 times with this same Keystore file. All my other Keystore files are working just the one with the money lmao.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Having difficulty logging into my ETH wallet through MEW on: May 08, 2020, 12:01:08 AM
Hello folks, I created an ethereum wallet through MyEtherwallet Platform and had not accessed it for a very long time till just today when I realized a coin of mine is being traded. For security reasons and past experiences I don't save private keys anymore, rather I save keystone files and their passwords to access my wallet when I need them. Unfortunately, I have tried accessing this wallet of mine and all the time I keep on getting this feedback that Unexpected token b in JSON at position 13"

Can anybody help me solve this, I have already written to the support team of MEW but have not heard from them.
7  Other / Off-topic / Some Alphabets of my keyboard are locked on: May 04, 2020, 12:57:49 PM
Hey guys, for some weird reasons for which I don't understand the top row of my Logitech Ultra Flat keyboard is locked. so basically, from the letter Q to P none of these alphabets are not functioning. Frankly speaking, I don't know what buttons I mistakenly pressed to cause this but I need help solving this. Currently using an old one which makes my knuckles hurt like crazy. Let me know if there is any help in solving this.

All other keys are functioning except the range of keys I mentioned and this is why it makes me believe it's locked in some way.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Gram Tokens could be the next big thing on: November 01, 2019, 09:32:29 PM
After raising a whooping amount of $1.7 billion the launch of GRAM Tokens have been postponed by the team due to a law suit from the US SEC. Interestingly, private investors have actually agreed to postpone the launch of this project pending the clearance from US SEC. The sales of GRAM Token occured in a flash and increased over 100% per the last bidding in March 2018. Though i don't have much information about the GRAM Token Economics yet i think this token would be one of the altcoins which would be worth investing into looking at the huge and ever increasing user base of the Telegram application.
You all can share with us what other important information that you know about this project so that we don't miss the early bird when it finally hits on exchange.

For those who see a great potential in this project like i do, it's scheduled to be launched on April 31, 2020
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin is a Tech not "Manna" from the skies! on: October 27, 2019, 12:07:43 PM
There is this misconception that has been created about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general which needs to be cleared once and for all. I quote Satoshi's words from his whitepaper "A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution."
Maybe i misinterpreted this but where in this statement is it written/implies that bitcoin is going to get rid of poverty. Let's not get things twisted and funny enough when their false assumptions don't come to pass they tend to consider that the technology failed. Well i guess they failed in interpreting this simple message above.  Grin
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin finding its way through football on: October 21, 2019, 04:10:46 PM
Though the progression might take time but i believe bitcoin will be globally adopted in future. I stumbled across these information i believe it's great sharing in here so that those whom seem not to have much hope in Bitcoin global adoption will have second thoughts. These football teams are well-known and i believe in no time other popular football teams would join the train. Can't wait to see my favourite team, Barcelona join this train though. Let's be optimistic about the future of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies amidst the scams Grin

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Does Coin swap stands a chance of solving Bitcoin's problems? on: October 19, 2019, 08:20:52 AM
1. Slow transaction rate
2. High consumption of electricity in running the network etc
Just to mention but a few are some of the problems of bitcoin which almost everybody in here knows about. I have seen several blockchain network do a coin swap as a way to improve upon the security, transaction and other features of its network. Solutions using lightning network would still increase the cost of transaction in one way or another. I have been thinking about this for a while, would the crypto community support the idea of a coin swap for bitcoin even if it was spearheaded by Satoshi Nakamoto? All that needs to be done is for him to sign a transaction with the address containing the rewards from the genesis block whiles mining bitcoin. I know it's a big pill to swallow but let's look at this possibility, hopefully the "anonymous being" might spot on this thread and come up with another great idea. All he needs is the support of the cryptosphere just like any other blockchain startup.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Every tiny piece of Bitcoin is worth it! on: October 13, 2019, 10:05:58 AM
Back in the days i used to disregard some pennies of my bitcoins in several exchanges thinking that these coins would never be worth it looking at its price at the moment. However, this idea came into my mind about some few weeks ago that what if Bitcoin reaches a double of its previous all time or even greater once this long awaited global adoption sets in.

Seriously this made me think twice and have made me roam through all my exchange accounts and wallets making sure that i have access to them in order to cash out all those pieces of bitcoin if they ever become worth it again. This may sound quite silly but i am quite optimistic about it Grin
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Would Quantum Computer Kill Bitcoin on: October 03, 2019, 05:13:57 AM
As per the latest, Google has reached Quantum Supremacy. Meaning it could potentially decode an entire blockchain and...
YOUR PRIVATE KEYS...
Blockchains are secured through elliptic curve cryptography (ECC), just like encrypted user data and website traffic. Now the issue is that ECC is NOT "quantum-safe" meaning that a quantum computer could theoretically decrypt a user's private keys and forge transaction signatures.
Is this the end of Crypto?
I don't think so, but I'd love to hear your opinions too! (Especially the opinion of a cryptographer)

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Will Digitization of National Currency Bring value to African Currencies? on: October 02, 2019, 12:14:37 PM
Country  like  Ghana  has  a lot  of natural  resources  yet  every  year the nation do their  Budget  in USD. Investor  traveled to  Ghana   and  buy their  resources with USD. Which  make  the national  Currency  got  no value. Do you think if Africans develop and adopt their own  digital Currency it can bring Change  and value  to their local Currencies?
15  Economy / Economics / Can Blockchain Bring change into Africa? on: October 01, 2019, 11:26:09 AM
The  nature of Africa was decentralization! Africa was unite and great until  colonial masters began to centralize  everything. Now  all the resources is control by the  western world.  Now that the world is changing and  blockchain is bring back  decentralization to the world would Africa get  their  power back?

18  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Promosi Bitcoin dan Altcoin on: October 25, 2014, 01:59:16 PM

Grin
