Just so the community is aware:

I was defrauded via a Titan Bitcoin, I lost 1 bitcoin. Tim Fillmore, president of Titan Bitcoin, is implicated. I peeled a coin that looked perfectly sealed, in the presence of a witness, and I was NOT able to redeem the "2FA code" on the coin for 1 bitcoin. Tim Fillmore told me the coin I held was "already redeemed", however the Titan BTC website shows my coin as "not yet funded". This indicates Titan Bitcoin has several databases regarding the states of their 2FA coins, and there is conflict in those databases, and Titan BTC is now refusing to honor customer redemptions based on their own internal database conflicts.

I have filed a police report and both FTC and CFTC complaints against Titan Mint, Inc., for theft, fraud, securities fraud, and unlicensed sale of securities.

Titan Bitcoin is now listed as a SCAM SITE on the list of scam sites. Beware, stay away or you could be the next victim.

I have an old 1-btc Titancoin, and when I went to redeen it yesterday, lo and behold, no private key under the tamper-proof sticker. All I see is what appears to be a "2FA" code, and I have no "password". Contacted customer support, 0 response.


Is this a known scam? Did I just lose 1 btc? Am I just SOL now? Titancoin, scammers?

Titancoin customer service now supporting this ticket. Appears legit.

Half the "goods" section frontpage is scammers selling stuff in locked threads, we should be allowed to call them out.
