2  Economy / Goods / [wts] ati 5970 for bitcoins on: April 15, 2013, 06:47:30 AM
I have a 5970 I never got around to selling ages ago. It was never mined with and checked once to make sure it worked. I've sold and bought on this forum in the past so if you need to check my old posts feel free. Give me an offer and maybe we can do business. Thanks.

3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Old version of bitcoin from a year ago. Wallet makes new version crash. on: August 16, 2012, 04:12:28 PM
Hi It's been quite a while since I've been updated on the bitcoin scene. I recently updated my bitcoin client and it crashes on start up. I tried deleting everything from my roaming/bitcoin folder and it works with a fresh wallet but if I try to use my wallet from a year ago it crashes and gives the following error.

Any help is much appreciated. Smiley

7  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Lots of options for 6990's again on: September 07, 2011, 04:54:22 AM
Newegg seems to keep finding new stock of these cards.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102927

It seems weird shipments to newegg for the 6990 seemed few and far between in the past. Does this mean manufacturers are trying to get their stock out quickly so they can prepare for 7xxx cards?
8  Economy / Goods / [WTS] 5970 ($425) on: September 06, 2011, 07:30:41 PM
I'm looking to sell my basically brand new 5970. It was bought off newegg about a week or two ago and I only used it once to make sure it worked. I tested overclocking it for about a minute at 850/300 and it worked perfectly.

One of these cards can easily pull 800+ megahash a sec. It's competition the 6990 can easily go for 850+ bucks so a 5970 is the way to go if your looking for mass megahash with little bulk.

I'm looking for bitcoins or cash. My asking price is $425 and this includes shipping to continental us.

Let me know if your interested.
9  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / can I buy a motherboard mounting panel anywhere? on: September 05, 2011, 04:46:09 PM
I'm looking for just a motherboard mounting panel is there anywhere I can buy one? Or do I need to buy a case / find a free case somewhere?
10  Bitcoin / Mining / How many people have bought rigs for free through bitcoins they've earned? on: September 04, 2011, 02:56:56 PM
I'm just curious how many people are at the point where their miners have mined enough to get a free rig. For those miners did you go for reliability (buying from newegg) or go for cheap (buying used). The reason I ask is because I'm almost to the point where I can created a free rig and I'm curious what other people's strategies have been. In all honesty I'm thinking of just going for newegg so I have a warranty and buying 6950's that are reference card and the shaders can be unlocked. I realize this goes against conventional wisdom of 6950's are inefficient but I'd prefer it to used 5870's.

So what have you guys done?
11  Economy / Goods / [WTS] used 5830 (sold) on: September 01, 2011, 05:39:26 PM

Got this item from CanaryInTheMine's raffle (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=38000.0) As you can see the grill has been clipped. It was just so the card could fit into a case. It doesn't effect the performance of the card what so ever.

I don't have space for it in my current rig set up so I need to sell it. I'm willing to sell it for $130 in bitcoins and this includes shipping (CONUS). Thanks Smiley
12  Economy / Goods / [WTS] 5200 rpm delta fan on: September 01, 2011, 02:32:09 PM

It can be seen here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835213001
It runs at 5200 rpm and moves 241 cubic feet per minute! I used this for about a week and decided to go for an skeleton case set up instaid. It reduced my temps by about 10c and does what it promises.

I'm asking for $25 with shipping included or the btc equivalent to any where in the continental US. At the moment I only want bitcoins. I might be open to lower offers if the price is right.

15  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / 6850 question on: August 11, 2011, 08:33:15 PM
I was looking at the 6850 on mining hardware comparison and it doesn't look like the 6850 has any updated data. Does any one have one that they are mining with? If some ones actually mining with it what speeds can you get?
16  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Never thought I'd see the day... on: August 10, 2011, 11:09:51 PM

They have both get them quickly!

edit:Apparently they are fake in stock atm. I have seen this though and usually in a few hours they are officially in stock.
18  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / getting all 5 cards to work on my mobo on: August 06, 2011, 08:14:44 PM
Ok so I have run out of ideas and I need help. I'm using a 890FXA-GD70 mobo with sapphire 5850's. I know that all the extenders are working, all the cables powering items are working, all graphics cards are working. When I try to run any gpu I own in the second x16 slot the graphics card shows up in trixx and afterburner but is labeled as "video controller (vga compatible)" but wont let me mine on it or over clock.

If you can help me figure out whats wrong I would appreciate it. Thanks.
19  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Need help finding out what's wrong with my new rig on: August 04, 2011, 02:35:08 PM
I tried out a new motherboard and psu that got shipped to me yesterday. When everything was set up I tried turning it on and the psu made a single click and the computer didn't turn on.

The mobo is a 890FXA-GD70 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130274) and the psu is a CORSAIR Professional Series Gold AX1200 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139014)

If this helps at all I used the power button on the actual mobo and it does light up blue pre click and post click if pressed. I was doing this at 1 am and had to be at work at 9 in the morning so I was rushing a little and may have forgot to do something simple. I'm just looking for possible solutions so I cut down my trial and error time when I get out of work.
