1  Economy / Economics / Ferrari accepts Bitcoin,Etheruem and USDC on: October 16, 2023, 10:40:07 AM
Last couple of weeks we are really grateful to know that Honda accepts Bitcoin and Ethereum as payment method on their company as thread created by Bitsar_coin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5468912.0

Now the luxury car company announce that they also accept Bitcoin,Ethereum and USDC. What's more great here is they clarify that there's no price change,no fees and surcharges that means no need to worry with such extra fees. Now crypto rich guys can transact without worrying anything since now they can use crypto to buy those luxury cars offer by Ferrari.

Click this link for source https://europe.autonews.com/automakers/ferrari-will-start-accepting-crypto-payments-cars-us

This is huge adoption since now automotive industry are now noticing the value of cryptocurrency and in future maybe we can see more companies will adopt it.

So which company do you think will be next to announce that will accept crypto?

@Nwada001 thanks for that.
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Current scare affect the decision making of starters. on: August 23, 2023, 09:07:35 AM
Can't blame starters to get scared about the current condition of bitcoin since no one like to see how the market move in negative direction but they should know that there are some ways that can make them avoid losses and that is.

In my opinion this is the few best things that need to consider.

Hodl since the only thing they lose is the $ and not the volume bitcoins still 1:1 ratio so this is best to do.

Decision making is also critical since we need to see each situation will occur and if we rush to decide without even thinking the whole point for sure we can lose our funds on simple mistake.

Fund management if they can able to grab for another funds they can set aside their funds experiencing some down turn and use an extra money to play with the market again and earn.

Proper researching by checking data's and news since this is helpful for us to learn.

4  Other / Beginners & Help / Receiving unwanted message fair warning to newbies. on: May 31, 2023, 06:53:45 AM
If you receive a message like this better ignore since mostly this is tactics made by scammers and they want to deceive people by some
unrealistic offer which you regret you try later on.

If they are legitimate running a good business  for sure they create a thread and have proper explanation about their business model. They will not by send any personal spam message to random individual since I always take this as shady behavior.

For new guy in forum better ignore such message and continue to learn more information which is more useful to you.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Before investing on meme coin or shitcoins consider this. on: May 20, 2023, 03:52:20 AM
Shitcoins are starting to gain hype so to avoid losing your hard earned money read this.

1. They are not created for long term most of the time shitcoins exist for short term and devs who create it will dump this because they move to their next project to avoid losing your money sell it immediately once you are in profit.

2. Never believe about devs promises since they are not really there to help you but they want to scam people and want o get rich quickly.

3. Be realistic and don't join the FOMO since this could lead up losing your money.

4. Never believe on people telling you to hold or even buy more they just want their target to get hit and for sure they will dump it without your knowledge so sell first before other do so that you will not end up chasing pumps to gain back your capital.

5. Most important of all became a smart investor and never doubt on possible profit which is not in your hands. Always be grateful on profit big or small since this could give you contentment and became always bullish on your investment.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Memory Clock Not Effecting ETH Hash Rate on: August 12, 2017, 06:22:09 AM
So for some reason my memory clock has absolutely no effect on my ETH hash rate.

Everywhere I read, everyone is saying that its the memory clock that has most impact on ETH hash rate, but I see absolutely no increase between 1750 -> 2150.

The only way I'm able to bump up the hash rate is increasing GPU clock, its a very slight bump, going from 1050 -> 1125 gives me a bump of 0.75 MH.

Using Sapphire RX 470's 4GB Nitro (Non +).

I tried modded bios, 1500, 1425 & even 1375 straps. I'm undervolting GPU, but not touching the memory voltage.

But no matter what I do memory clock has no effect on hash rate.

What could be wrong and any way to fix this? Do I need to overvolt GPU memory?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Is > 6 GPU Per Rig Possible With 1-to-3 Riser Card? on: June 18, 2017, 04:36:06 AM
Curious if its possible to run more than 6 GPUs off 1 motherboard using a 1 to 3 PCIE riser card like this:
https://www.ebay.com/i/371913923974?chn=ps&dispItem=1

I've done some research myself and some people have success running 8 GPU's some say 7 is the limit.

Would it be possible to run 8 on?
H81 PRO BTC v1 with Celeron, Windows 10

Is it possible to run more than 8?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Low Mining Difficulty Coins With Biggest Potential on: June 11, 2017, 11:24:29 AM
What coins have low mining difficulty, (or new coins perhaps) that offer a chance to mine large number of coins and that have big potential in 2017-2018?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Mining 2017: ETH vs. EXP vs. UBQ on: June 06, 2017, 10:05:42 PM
Just curious on what people's opinions are on mining in 2017 (considering you already the hardware & mining rig setup)

- All 3 are about equally profitable +/- (at the moment)
- ETH has high difficulty - so its hard to accumulate many coins
- EXP seems more established, but has 90% pre-mine held by devs which seems shady
- UBQ is newer, no pre-mine, and mining gets most coins, easier to accumulate more coins

If you had to choose to mine one or the other with prospects of holding long term, which one would you choose and why?

...or would you not hold either of them, and just sell for BTC?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Bittrex 'Bid/Ask Rate' vs. 'Actual Rate' on: May 13, 2017, 11:12:52 PM
In ‘My Order History’, what is the meaning of ‘Actual Rate’?  Also, how is ‘Costs / Proceeds’ field computed?

As I understand it (or so I thought), 'Actual Rate' is the actual rate I paid instead of what I bid and ‘Costs / Proceeds’ = ‘Actual Rate’ x ‘Units Filled’

However, it seems that currently it computes ‘Costs / Proceeds’ = ‘Bid/Ask’ x ‘Units Filled’

If Bittrex keeps the difference, this feels a bit scammy..

Is this normal for exchanges, can someone clarify this. Thanks.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Any Wallets Worth Running to Earn Transactions Fees? on: March 24, 2015, 06:18:29 AM
Just curious if there are any wallets worth running that will actually generate some transactions fees overtime?

I know the rewards are minimal, mostly doing this because I have bandwidth and don't mind contributing the network.

Thanks.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Vertcoin Mining on 2 x Radeon HD 4550's on: March 25, 2014, 04:15:21 PM
Got 2 x Radeon HD 4550's sitting around doing nothing. I'm able to run GuiMiner-Scrypt-Alpha for Litecoin mining just fine, hashing a whopping 10Kh/s per card .. whoohoo! .. I know.. Tongue

However I could not get Vertminer to run on those cards yet. VertMiner tells me its unable to find a device.

Any advice on how to get these 4550's mining VTC? Any specific VertMiner settings for these cards ?

Should I try other miners (not sure if there are other options besides VertMiner) ?

Thanks in advance!
