Its been pretty stable for over a month now, sitting around 10 to 11 bux even during the weekend down time.  Now its pretty quickly dropped to 8 bux a coin.  So how low we going this time.  I bought a bunch when it hit 9 today, now wish I would have waited of course.  Problem is, if bitcoin keeps freaking going from 11 to 7, to 12, to 8 back and forth its just making it harder and harder for there to be a strong bitcoin economy.  Sellers are not going to want to sell products and services for something that changes its value so dramatically and so quickly.  We need to fix that somehow, it has to stabilize even if its at 5 bux a coin, it just has to be stable withing a dollar for there to ever be any future economy for bitcoin, or at least thats how I feel.

Ok this is my first website, I have been listening to everyones suggestions and thoughts from my other posts and on other forums and I think I finally have it close, changed the text, background colors, got rid of most of the colors and highlights, think it is organized well.  PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.  ANY IDEAS, things I can add.  And anyone who has skills in this area would be awesome for more help.  Was thinking to add a live MTGOX bitcoin exchange price widget if possible, any ideas on what else I could do on the site to get actual bitcoins sold, traded through the site for people with feedback.  And anyone who has knowledge on how to get this thing showing up by KEYWORD SEARCHES, not just by googling the actual website name, which that does work.  This will be my last topic starter on this site, now that I feel it is close to a finished project.  Please any help, concepts, or if you want your website added to mine if you offer services, goods etc, or are an exchange that wants to be added to the list just PM me and I will add it.   GOOO BITCOIN

Man I have been working on my website and ideas, wish I thought of this. I think this ended up being a great idea by whoever did this site.  Great concept, offer bitcoin rewards for shopping at places like amazon, new egg etc.  If they have the places involved in this, that is an accomplishment in itself, if theres something else going on maybe not, have not ordered or tried, but like 2 percent back in bitcoins using tigerdirect, pretty useable business or concept I think.  What do you think, good or crappolllllaaaa???

Ok, I have followed advice from what I heard back so far.  Would like thoughts, any help, ideas, suggestions, what looks or doesnt work, if its ugly lol etc  on my site.  I havent posted in this thread before but did in economics I think.  This is closer to finished product, please tell me what I need to add, change etc.

Ok so I just started this website, its just in test format now, going to work on it the rest of this week, but the point of it, was to help sell products and services for bitcoins.  So anyone that would want to be listed on the site as selling items or services for bitcoin can be listed on the site, going to have a MTGOX TICKER to show price of a bitcoin, a rummage area to sell odds and ends, a chat and a forum type set up on the website.  I think this will work out, try to gather all locations and web pages, and users that sell items for bitcoin in one location.  Any thoughts ideas, suggestions, help would be awesome as this is my first web page.  I did manage to get a rough copy up, I am using hostgator and sitebuilder, will have ecommerce so can pay, have a shopping cart etc.  And if you want your website or products listed, email me and we can work it out.

I have done some bitcoin sales using ebay and forums.  I have this one person that continues to buy them over market value, about 3 bux over MTGOX sell prices.  I am wondering why would someone choose that over just getting them for cheaper at MTGOX, unless someone was using it for illegal items and paid more to not have there bank account or anything linked?  OR AM I JUST BEING PARANOID?  Please any other reasons make sense?

I understand its peer to peer, ok, but is the price only based on what the last person bought and sold there coins for?  Is it that simple and why it will be so volatile?  If theres no basis or formula like the difficulty plus the finite supply equals a bitcoin at this price, I think it will be tough for a stable price to ever be reached?  Or am I missing something?

So how long does it normally take to put money into dwolla from your bank. then it goes to MTGOX does that usually take.  In the real world trade can change in 3 to 4 days, does it take this long and have to take this long?  Mine cleared Dwolla, so I would think it would be in MTGOX instantly, or within 15 20 minutes or so?

1 bitcoin will get you 5 of any movies current or old that can be watched in any DVD player.  I am highly involved in the torrent community and only get the highest quality releases and will burn them to dvd and send in the mail DVD playable versions of any movie, 5 for 1BTC.  Can also do Mix CDs of your choice of any genre, any albums that you need, or any apps.  Prices negotiable. 

I want to buy some bitcoins at 15 a coin.  I have a 1k bux I am willing to part with at that price if anyone is interested.  Prices seem stable, so pretty risky at these prices to actually make a profit, but willing to invest a 1000 bux to play.  Thanks  Have Dwolla or paypal  and my ebay will show trusted seller and buyer, ask the same.

I built this guy his computer some months back and he said it was for bitcoins.  I did not know what that was at the time, and that is when I started looking into it.  He made some coins but had also bought a 1000 coins at 86 cents each.  He then sold them when they hit 30 bux each and made a freaking killing.  Now when I jumped in I only have made 15 coins from mining and its getting harder and harder to make, so I figure I am going to buy them today at 14 bux a coin.  What are the chances of that kind of profit ever occuring again?  It seems very improbable and seems that its either going to fail completely or your talking staying in the 30 to 40 dollar range for a bitcoin even after a year or so, which is no type of major profit.  It seems the only people that will make real money on this were those that jumped in super early and those that sold right at the bubble?
