1  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] 2X Avalon Batch #2 ASIC Miners -- in hand on: September 17, 2013, 02:59:52 PM
I have 2 1 standard Batch #2 black Avalon miners that I'm looking to sell. These are 3 module units. They are both extremely stable at 350 MHz. One unit is completely stock, the other has a OCZ 1200 power supply that is connected on the outside of the unit (this will be installed for shipping).

They both have latest FW installed.

Will escrow with John K only.

I will pay for standard UPS ground shipping within US. You are welcome to pay extra for shorter transit time.

Please PM your offers. This is self-moderated so please only post with offer or questions.

I will post pictures later today.

I have 2 standard Batch #2 black avalon miners that I need to sell. It looks like my ability to cool the room has met its match.

DETAILS:

Firmware version: 20130703. Will clock to 350 mhz in cool ambient air.

Escrow is fine, will only do it with John K and buyer must pay escrow fees.

Buyer pays shipping as well (ships from TX)

In a pseudo bid fashion starting at 120 BTC per unit. PM or post your bid.

3  Economy / Auctions / [WTS] 2x Icarus FPGA Miners (mine with them or trade in for Avalon) 2nd Auction on: April 20, 2013, 02:00:24 AM
Inspired by: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=179800.0 and shamelessly stolen, however I waited until his published auction ending before I posted this.

I also have two, fully functional Icarus FPGA miners that are available in this auction.

The winner might choose to mine with these or the winner might choose to trade them in for priority access to Avalon Batch #2 (see below for details).  Note, I do not guarantee anything with respect to the Avalon Trade-in process.  The buyer takes on all risk associated with that trade-in process.

These will be shipped from Texas in the US.  I will cover the costs of standard shipping (UPS ground or equivalent) within the U.S.  I will also ship internationally via the US Postal Service for $50 (in BTC based on the exchange rate at the time of payment).  If the winner would prefer a particular expedited shipping method, I am willing to do that with the winner paying the actual cost of shipping.

The rules for the auction are as follows:

Each bid must indicate a price you are willing to pay per unit and how many units you want to buy (just 1 or both of them)
Bid must be in increments of at least 0.1 BTC
If you are bidding on both units are are only willing to win them as a pair and not an individual unit, say so explicitly.
The auction ends at 4/21/13 02:00 UTC (based on the forum's time/clock).  That is 9pm Central Time in the U.S, tomorrow night or approximately 24 hours from when this topic was posted.

Any bid in the last 15 minutes of the auction automatically extends the auction by 15 minutes.
The minimum starting bid is 5.0 BTC

Recommended bid styles:

"I bid 5 BTC for 1 unit"

"I bid 5.1 BTC each for both units"

I reserve the right to cancel the auction if necessary for reasonable cause.  If I do so, all bids are
cancelled.  I'm reserving this right simply because this is the first time I've done an auction like this,
and want an escape hatch just in case I've missed something critical.  (language stolen from casascius' auctions)
