1  Economy / Service Announcements / [ANN] Real time multiplayer game engine - bomberman clone as a first game on: April 02, 2015, 05:39:32 PM
Hey people, I've been working on a multiplier game platform for a while, made my own web engine, graphics engine and a game engine.
(the idea is to make not gambling games but skill based games, (optionally winner takes bitcoin from other players))

first game implemented is bomberman.

this is a super alpha, can't play for btc yet, I'd like to see if people are interested, get some bug reports and play against someone Cheesy

http://lobby.bitcoinlab.org

new games will be built on top of this, bomberman is just a test.
and it supports multiple web servers (regions) so that everyone can have a low ping.

thanks!

PS

there is a small bug with character movement that doesn't influence gameplay, annoying to fix, will fix it

(pls continue this topic @ https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1010288 I've created it in "gambling" because I'm guessing the crowd there will care about this, but wouldn't like to miss out on potentially serious people from here that don't read that subforum)

4  Economy / Service Announcements / [ANN] bomberman.bitcoinlab.org - real time multiplayer bomberman clone on: January 29, 2013, 07:25:18 PM
hey people!

I think that bitcoin related games are missing a skill and multiplayer components.
so I've made a web framework and an html5 game engine on top of nodejs.

I needed a sample game, started working on some kind of multiplayer tetris, realized that that's super boring, and ended up making a bomberman clone, as I really like bomberman. the idea is that players put some bitcoin in, play bomberman against each other and the winner takes all.

its also a good game choice I think as its not totally trivial to create a bot for it.

the game engine supports replays, infinite maps, and other cute stuff. I might create a 3d renderer for a game in three.js or something later

I'll need test players in the following days. and those interested for alpha play, please register at

http://bomberman.bitcoinlab.org/

and here are the two screenshots

http://bitcoinlab.org/bomberman1.png

current graphics are placeholders only, its very probbable that I'll create a public contest for sprite desings with some bitcoin amount as a reward.

bye!

7  Economy / Gambling / Bitcoin MineField - 10%-2300% winings, fully automated, with cool technologies:) on: July 11, 2011, 11:47:28 PM
Hi, I'd like to work on a larger bitcoin based game and this small game is my technology test and ping to the people to see if you are interested in something like this.

everything is working as expected, all bugs are fixed.

http://minefield.bitcoinlab.org

This was supposed to be a simple coin flip, but I abstracted it a little, allowing users to choose their chances (yup, still nothing new)

winnings are ranging from *1.08 to *23.75

- there is a free play option if you select to bet 0 btc

- referral rewarding has been implemented - for every user you refer to this site, you'll forever receive 10% of that users losses, check out the referrals tab

- the site requires your payments to be confirmed (5 confirmations) before allowing to cash out the winnings

- you dance around the minefield and cash out whenever you'd like.

- in order to prove that the service isn't cheating, I display a sha256 hash of textual representation of the field together with a random string to protect myself from bruteforcing.

- the site doesn't force users to register, but stores their "password" in an url. I will implement optional traditional password logins in the future.

- from technology side, the site is using nodejs and websockets for communication. (you can look at the same user/game from two browsers/computers Cheesy )

I used minecraft textures and sounds Lips sealed I'll need to remove this soon I suppose
I've tested this on firefox chrome and opera, will test it on other browsers as the time passes.

feedback and suggestions are super-welcome.
