1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Server PSU and GPU mining tip on: October 18, 2017, 05:34:52 PM
if you would rather use a server PSU to power those GPU rigs .. I discovered one way I'm sure others know of it..
all you need is the breakout board that matches the PSU you want to use and a few cables and a DC 12V 160W 24Pin Pico ATX Switch PSU,

i would go with a 150 watt or better...Pico ATX Switch PSU

for the CPU EPS plug on the mother board from the server PSU using a PCIe cable you can use a pcei 6 pin cable from PSU to the CPU EPS plug with the below converter ,this takes a lot of stress off the Pico ATX Switch psu so it only powers the Mother board and SSD the CPU is powered from the Server PSU with a true 12 V constant. link below.

DC 12V 160W 24Pin Pico ATX Switch PSU..

you can make you own PCIe to barrel plug to power DC 12V 160W 24Pin Pico ATX Switch PSU, this gives you some idea what to use ...... i bought cables at one time ten with out the barrel plugs for 10 bucks an a 10 pack of barrel plugs for less then 7.99 on ebay and was able to make ten and save ...

just a tip or two to help out and save you some cash for the more important things for that rig like cards won't need a ATX PSU to power the Mother board unless you like it that way. i didn't so i did some reading an found out how to do it with a  sever psu that is a safer and better way to me and save a lot of cash on psu power for that rig.

The links in this post are general links to give some idea,as to what you need ...
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Scrypt ASIC Miner Wolf Review 1 / 2 GH/s on: September 29, 2017, 04:47:04 AM

I bet that bad boy is gonna cost close to 10k and never reach ROI .....the good point is

it's by  Ehsminer, a France-based company in the free world,we need more of that to drive down the costs of miners from China and hope those company's in the free world stay legit .

we all remember about two years ago the rush of gear and Price drops and must of it was a Scam or turned into one later on .
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / 7nm ASICs an 7nm chips maybe next year some time . on: September 13, 2017, 05:41:52 AM
According to this email i just got we might have 7NM video cards and maybe 7nm ASICs next year some time for a few years before it hits 5nm and the good part not from China but from Japan a free nation ....

Still gonna cost but a good step in who controls what .so cost and Customer service might not be as bad as it is now for ASICs miners bought from china, Mainly CS...might be better stuff bought from china might be cheaper not better but a lot cheaper..
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Newegg has 570 and 580 again on: September 07, 2017, 10:59:20 PM

The price still sucks though you can buy a GTX 1060 3gb for way less, an a  GTX 1060 6gb for about the same as the lowest priced RX 570 4gb  .. just thought some might want to know they can buy RX 570 and RX 580 at a kind of good price.
5  Economy / Service Discussion / nicehash sent my mind BTC with to low a fee ? . on: August 18, 2017, 07:56:07 PM

it's been setting there sense the time it was sent around 6 AM this morning an it looks like they sent it with to low a fee ? ...

OFC they don't care I hope i get the btc at some point and it's not sent back to them ..

I hate dealing with Nice hash support because of past support help i asked for they told me pretty much tough shit and kept the BTC and it wasn't my fault .

trust me I won't ever use Nice hash again to mine on an try to discourage other's from mining there .. IF they keep those BTC and tell me fuck off, if i don't get them .

I wish cleave mining had stayed in business it paid better and i never once had issue using cleave mining till the end then everyone did but they made good kind of .

Has anyone seen these or tried them with any of the break out boards in use now .. link below i bought two and can't get them to run with any of the Break out boards, i use with 1  hp 750 watt psu and 3 hp 1200 watt
PSU ...  i either have two bad ones or the wiring in side the PSU is different because the outside Pin out looks the same as the 750 and 1200 watt version ... Ive tried side hacks board it didn't power it and two others i bought off ebay that do power the 750 watt 1200 watts 1500 watt and 2400 watt. as does side hacks ...o yea  I know all the 2400 watt psu is  two 1200 watt wired to gather in a news case with very quite fans i do mean very quite .  because it needs two 1200 watt break out boards to get full use which i like a lot better ...

18  Economy / Service Discussion / INTERNATIONAL FEES- coin base waning becare full.. on: March 04, 2017, 03:48:12 PM
sigh it seems coin base set up shop in the UK to avoid US laws or officially made there US base  a UK home base to avoid US laws and taxes, I see the US hasn't stop that shit yet much for trumps BS .. sorry im little upset because it almost over drew my bank account if i had known like anyone i would have adjusted for it ..

I was just hit with a INTERNATIONAL FEE from my bank becasue of coin bases miss judgement I blame coin base this time , for not informing it customers of the move and there is nothing on there site that says any thing about the move and any kind of info i could find about INTERNATIONAL FEES or a warning any place , I bought 863 $ IN BTC to by a A4 i could only pay with BTC or money wire which my bank doesn't do for over seas this is why i hate more and more paying with bitcoins but will mine coins it's not so bad and i get it faster with less BS if I mine and sell , so now i have to opt to bank transfers with no fee buying bit cons from coin base and it takes 5 days but if i sell it only takes 2 to 3 days for the cash to pop in my bank . i was never charged a INTERNATIONAL FEE by my bank till now becasue of coin base using them to instant buy bitcoins and they basally don't care is there repose, to others who had no idea like me , I don't know yet,how what they will tell me , i put in a ticket asking why but found kinds of info on the Webb, it just started and they told no one to expect it   .... so a warning don't trade with coin base in the US unless you like being charged hidden fees they don't tell you about and you find out later on and you knew nothing about becasue they didn't tell you it might happen which never happen before becasue they now do instant transfer in the UK for US customers and your bank will charge you a INTERNATIONAL FEE in the US's not your banks fault either, if i had known, i know i would have waited the five days or cancelled the buy and look some place else like VirWoX were i know all the fees i'll be charged upfront from past instant bitcoin buys with no hidden cost and they warn you of any possible INTERNATIONAL FEE, it cost but there is no misleading, so far.
