1  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Approved fans for OS+ Braiins on: August 10, 2022, 06:26:18 PM
Hello everyone,

I wanted to replace my original fans on my S19 Pro 110T and unfortunately what I ordered are not compatible with Braiins OS+.

They work in manual at 100%, but in automatic does not work, no return to the PMW level. As a result, the mining does not start and the register indicates no fans connected.

Do you have any models to recommend that work perfectly with Braiins OS+ in automatic ?

Thanks

2  Bitcoin / Hardware / Company BITMANU and its Miners... on: February 23, 2022, 09:04:24 PM
Hello,

I can't find much information about BITMANU.

There is more and more talk about it on the networks.

So is it a real company or just a scam?!
3  Bitcoin / Hardware / Grace Zhou - Trusted vendor? on: January 06, 2022, 10:20:38 AM
Hello,

I would need the opinion of experienced people on the forum.
In the past, forum members have advised me to sell Grace Zhou.
I am following his sales proposals on Telegram https://t.me/minerexpertsales
Does he have any new feedback?
Still a reliable seller?

Thanks

Hello,

I would like to replace my S9 with S17 Pro.

What do you think about it? I understand that the transport causes a lot of breakage.

Would you have any serious sites to suggest to me?

Thanks

5  Economy / Service Discussion / Need advice on https://miningwholesale.eu/ which is located in the Netherlands.. on: November 29, 2021, 04:38:47 PM
Hello,

Does anyone have any feedback on the site https://miningwholesale.eu/

This site is located in the Netherlands, so it's quite well placed for me who is in France.

It was referenced on https://www.asicminervalue.com/ for a long time and since about 1 month they are no longer registered.

I saw some reviews on https://www.trustpilot.com/review/miningwholesale.eu but what seems strange to me is that they say they have their business since 2013 and there are almost no reviews.

So if anyone has any feedback, I'm all ears.

Thanks

Bonjour,

Merci
6  Bitcoin / Hardware / Overclocking S9i in relation to temperature?! on: November 28, 2021, 08:37:42 PM
Hello,

I own Bitmain S9i, I'm under Braiins OS+ since the beginning.

I have never increased the power beyond 1300w, for fear of making them overheated and out of order, since this summer it was running quite easily at 100% ventilation.

But in winter my room does not exceed 10°C, and fans between 15 and 30%.

Would it be dangerous to increase the power? Or on the contrary, would the fresh air allow a better regulation?

Thanks

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Ethereum mining and Ethereum 2.0 ? Differences!?! on: October 13, 2021, 03:16:08 PM
Hello,

Currently I only mine Bitcoin, I would like to try Ethereum via Asic.

But I don't know much about Ethereum.

I heard about the Ethereum 2.0 update, an update that would hurt the miner from what I understand.

Does this mean that an Asic Innosilicon A11 or Bitmain E9 when released would be useless?

Thanks in advance to the people who will explain me all this 😉

8  Bitcoin / Hardware / HashBoard repair store ?! on: June 08, 2021, 06:05:43 PM
Hello,

Does anyone know of a store in Paris or in France that would be able to repair S9i HashBoards?
Or even in Europe?

Thanks

9  Bitcoin / Hardware / Need feedback on S17 Pro 53Th... on: June 03, 2021, 07:21:34 AM
Hello,

I would need some feedback on Bitmain S17 Pro 53Th 😉

I am offered five S17 Pro 53Th, the seller tells me that there are no problems currently.
They have been running for 14 months with the original software.

I can't find many reviews or feedback on these machines!
If a few people had feedback on these machines it would be great 😉

Thanks in advance

11  Bitcoin / Mining support / Brand new S9i minor, which fails in series!?! on: April 16, 2021, 09:53:52 PM
Hello,

I need your help.
I bought 6 Bitmain Antminer S9i, one used and 5 new from a clearance sale.
I got the used one first and one of the cards broke down the same day I received it, I spoke with the seller who assured me that everything was working properly for a long time.
I said it was a stroke of bad luck, but today I lost a second card on that same minor!
What is wrong is that on my 5 new miners, I lose a card almost every week!
How is this possible on new miners? And I'm sure they were brand new, as well as their power supplies.
In the space of one month I already have 4 cards that do not work anymore and 2 that show signs of weakness.
What can I do?
I've already spent hundreds of hours trying to figure out what could have gone wrong, I've reflashed the cards, put the original software on them, no improvement, I've reinstalled Braiins OS+, but no improvement.
I'm really confused, I just invested a lot of money and it doesn't want to work as I can see in others!

Thanks in advance

Mickael

12  Bitcoin / Hardware / S9i power increase with APW3++... Danger ? on: April 11, 2021, 11:24:15 AM
Hello,

I have a small question about the power supply for the Bitmain S9i, on the APW3++ 12-1600 power supply it says 220v, maximum 10A.

Could you tell me if it is dangerous to run my S9i at 1600W?

If I'm not mistaken, 10A in 220v gives 2200W max.

So whether it's for the miner or the power supply, is it dangerous to ask Braiins OS+ to run it under 1600W, 1800W or even 2000W?

Thanks in advance

13  Bitcoin / Mining support / S9I no feedback and error light on: March 11, 2021, 01:42:40 PM
Hello.

I have big concerns with the Bitmain S9i miner that I just bought secondhand, it's my very first.
In short, it lights up, starts up, the fans spin and start at full power. I feel heat coming out, then about 2 minutes later I have the Fault light coming on and it stops producing heat.

When I connect with the Ethernet cable I can connect to the miner, but no information comes up. I don't have the fan speed, or the temperature, nothing. I redo the update but nothing better. I tried with the Antpool and Slush Pool mining address but nothing either. I've watched a lot of videos and threads on the forum but still nothing. I've tried this kind of procedure, but it won't work: https://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019493654. I've been trying a lot of stuff for at least 20 hours and I can't do it.

I made a static address on the Bitmain software and in my Box, but not better, I tried with several cables, still certainly a lot of things that I forgot! A yes also, I tested the power supply there is indeed 12v at all pins.

I badly need your help to find out if I'm doing badly or if the miner has a problem. If so, I will contact the seller. I bought it on EBay from a well-rated seller.

Thank you in advance.

https://i74.servimg.com/u/f74/18/79/46/39/carte_11.jpg

Problem solved, I tested the hashboard against each other.

The one alone = OK
The second alone = no mining
The third alone = OK
The 1 and 3 together = OK
I try the 1, 2 and 3 sets = OK

I really don't understand what happened. Yet I took it all apart, cleaned, tested again and again!

After an hour of mining everything works at least no LED Fault! But you will tell me what you think about it, but for me card number 2 does not work! If you see any other weird stuff please let me know.

14  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Most reliable Bitmain S9? (S9, S9i, S9J, S9K, S9 SE-13, 13.5, 14, 14.5, 16Th/s) on: March 08, 2021, 03:37:42 PM
Hello,

I am awaiting receipt of my S9i 14 Th/s which is due for delivery this week.

This will be my very first mining experience. (I look forward)  Grin

Do you have any advice on the quality of the S9s?

Is an S9i deemed more reliable than an S9, S9J, S9K, or others?

Thank you in advance

15  Bitcoin / Mining support / Beginner with S9i - A little, see a lot lost ... on: February 26, 2021, 08:06:35 AM
Hello, Cheesy

I am very new to the world of mining. I just bought my first machine a Bitmain S9i in 14Th/s.
I know that the profitability is not very high, but to discover the world of mining I did not want to invest a lot for a first experience.

For information, I live in France and I work for an electricity supplier, I pay my kW less than 0.01 dollars.

I have read through a lot of thread on the forum, but I'm still completely lost!
All these technical terms for a new one is a bit confusing!

In my case, what do you recommend?

Which Pool to choose?

Should I keep my internal Bitmain software, should I switch to BRAIINS or others?

What can BRAIINS bring?

Is BRAIINS compatible only with SlushPool?

I am the taker of all information.

Thank you in advance for helping me.

Have a good day Cheesy

16  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] Looking for Bitmain S9 on: February 21, 2021, 10:40:08 PM
Hello, Grin

New to the world of mining, and in order to get a feel for it without costing me too much, I would be looking for a used Bitmain S9 miner to overhaul and in good or new condition.

Preferably shipped from Europe.

17  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Bitmain S19 Pro delivery depending on the country?!? on: February 20, 2021, 10:22:29 PM
Good morning all, Cheesy

I have a quick question, I live in France and the delivery of the first Bitmain Antminer S19 Pro 110 TH / s is expected around the month of August.

If I understand correctly from the posts I have seen in the forum there are in some countries people who have already received their Bitmain Antminer S19 Pro 110 TH / s, is this possible? Are there priority countries? Huh

Thank you Smiley
