1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Should I sell ADA for loss to buy more bitcoin at this dip? on: April 23, 2021, 04:46:25 PM
A few days ago I had 100$ in my portfolio that I got from mining some Ethereum. Without much thinking I bought 66$ worth of bitcoin when BTC was selling for 60K. I also bought some ADA Cardano with the remaining 33$. Now both bitcoin and ADA prices have dipped significantly. I was wondering should I sell my ADA for the loss of 1-2$ in order to catch more gains in the next Bitcoin bull run?. Or should I hold both of them. To me holding 30 bucks worth of ADA isnt that good in the long run. I am planning on investing larger amounts in ADA  as I honestly believe in their project, once I get hold of things and establish a decent portfolio. Am new to trading and am still learning the technical and fundamental aspects of things. Any advice is appreciated!.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Worth building a farm at 0.047 usd/kwh on: March 02, 2021, 09:34:27 PM
So I live in Ukraine, and I was thinking of building a farm here. Electricity here is super cheap at around 0.047usd/kwh. Also 12x rx580 8gb farm would cost me around 6000usd. Now calculating profitability I would be able to make 900usd a month and return my initial investment in 7 months. This sounds great with everything suitable and the fact that Ukraine is super cold U don't even need fans to cool ur rig. But am worried about the upcoming eip-1559 update and the current state of ethereum and its high gas fees. Do you guys think I could profit from this or I should stay away from mining at the moment?.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Unable to trade because of my nationality on: February 22, 2021, 02:55:22 AM
So I tried registering with binance and I verified my account using my Sudanese passport, and it took half an hour for them to block my account. So I tried contacting customer support just to wait in queue for 7 hours and after finally reaching them, they informed me that my account was locked for good because I am Sudanese and Sudan is not a supported country and they can't help me. I then proceeded to explain that I was born in UAE and that am currently residing in Ukraine, I also told them that I verified my account using a Ukrainian phone number and a Ukrainian email. But they refused saying it doesn't matter where I reside as long as am sudanese they can't provide me service. So I went ahead and read the tos of other big exchanges like coinbase and asked their support, but they also said I can't register due to my nationality. This is very frustrating for someone who was born in UAE and lives in Ukraine, who haven't even been to Sudan to get refused service just because of my nationality. If they denied me service based on my current location I would understand but this is just astonishing. So does anyone have any tips or knows any exchange that may serve me please tell me or feel free to express your opinion about the situation.
