3  Economy / Services / Windows builds on: January 26, 2016, 02:14:48 AM
Hi there, just letting everyone know that I am available for hire for building windows clients for coins. Usually I make a few code adjustments along the way, and all of the work that's done during the build pushed to your github afterward. If there is no extra work required than editing the .pro file. (pre 0.10) and building the client. Then I can discount the build by $5. So usually this means that any build after the first, is at a discounted price. Even when you've made changes to the code. As long as you know what your doing.

Build's for coins with base code < 0.10
$20 USD
Discounted build's for coins with base code < 0.10
$15 USD

Build's for coins with base code > 0.10
$30 USD
Discounted Build's for coins with base code > 0.10
$25 USD

Bitcoin accepted, Exchange rates calculated upon payment when the client is finished.

6  Bitcoin / Pools / [ANN][POOL] Infernomans multipool [POOL] Payouts in [BTC] [NEOS] [HTML] [FUEL] on: March 12, 2015, 05:18:45 AM
Well im finally ready to release infernopool.com currently the multipool is ran on a 6 core 12 thread 4.5ghz server with 48gb of ram. 300mb/s download 10mb/s upload. The server is currently configured under a home network but is protected by cloudflare and business class firewall and router. The router can handle 300k+ connections and is a 2xdual core xeon with 8gb of ram.

I will be working on getting a hosted solution for the pool shortly. but so far it has not proven problematic.

Infernopool offers 2 different algorithms to mine. SHA256, and Scrypt. Payouts for Infernopool are ran daily at 12:00 am UTC - 4

We also offer Direct Litecoin ports as well as a Direct Neoscoin ports.

Donations welcome!

Any issues, please report them here or feel free to PM me, as I can't always see every post.
You can also contact me on IRC with the screenname infernoman. There is a link at the footer of the page.

To mine:

Happy Hashing!

I am always trying to add new things to the pool and update the user interface, if you have any suggestions please leave a post here, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

New coins can be added to the pool for payouts with request. The fee charged is currently $3 per mining coin daemon monthly.
Currently there are 35 coins on the pool. If I notice a coin that is not performing well they will be removed at the end of the month. And users notified of the new fee's.
If i can replace that coin with another I try my best to do that to keep the fees the same. Coins will only be changed mid month if problems are occurring. Or if the coin can be replaced with another.

The fees will be going toward upgrading to a proper dedicated connection. The reason I've chosen to charge a monthly fee is because if I don't there will be an influx of coins and i wont be able to get anything done. If you have a coin, the fee i'm charging shows there is active development on the coin.

The first month has a reduced cost to cover my costs of coding and running the pool. But if you are not satisfied with the first month. There is no contract and the coin can be removed. If the second months payment is not received I will assume the developer is not happy with the pool and have it removed.

Update: The miner page was updated to include only the coin your being paid in. Instead of all of the different payout types available. Hashrate history for both scrypt and sha256 now available on the workers page with highcharts instead of nvd3. Working on getting User hashrate histories on the miner information page too.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Neoscoin multipool on: October 22, 2014, 12:07:42 AM
Hey everyone i have been working with the neoscoin team to get a auto switching multipool going. currently the payouts are run manually every day around 10pm EDT, the payouts are processed into neoscoin automatically. and the miner rewarded with neoscoin.

NOTICE : THIS IS NOT THE OFFICIAL NEOSCOIN MULTIPOOL
this is a pool that i have been working on with them and will be running myself
neoscoin will be implementing an official pool on a dedicated server.

currently we have sha-256 and scrypt setup and we are looking for a bit of help testing. if you are interested in neoscoin and helping test the pool you can contact me on here to get the information for the pool. and once the official pool is released the link will be posted.

!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS FOR SHA-256 !!!!!!!!!!

REQUIREMENTS FOR RUNNING THE P2POOL!!!

Generic:

Neoscoin >=0.8.5
Python >=2.6
Twisted >=10.0.0
python-argparse (for Python =2.6)
Linux:

sudo apt-get install python-zope.interface python-twisted python-twisted-web
sudo apt-get install python-argparse # if on Python 2.6

Windows:
Install Python 2.7: http://www.python.org/getit/
Install Twisted: http://twistedmatrix.com/trac/wiki/Downloads
Install Zope.Interface: http://pypi.python.org/pypi/zope.interface/3.8.0

Install python win32 api wmi wrapper: https://pypi.python.org/pypi/WMI/#downloads
Unzip the files into C:\Python27\Lib\site-packages

then unzip p2pool.zip
and run neoscoin.bat the pool should start and you should see it at 127.0.0.1:3334
connect your miners using stratum+tcp://127.0.0.1:3334
or to find your ip on your network open cmd. and type ipconfig
under IPV4 Address : 192.168.1.*
use that ip address

mine is 192.168.1.148 so to point my miners at my pool i use stratum+tcp://192.168.1.148:3334
for outside connections you have to open the ports 3333 and 3334 in your router. and go to http://www.whatsmyip.org/
and use that ip address.
mine is 99.236.215.227 so if i want other people to be able to connect to my pool i use

12  Bitcoin / Mining support / Solo mining on: July 13, 2014, 10:21:12 AM
i am having troubles setting up my antminer s1's on a proxy to my wallet. i have successfully gotten a p2pool up and running but i want to try and mine directly to the wallet to see if the discard rates are any better. because right now more half of my shares are getting discarded by my p2pool. atleast thats what it says in the antminer UI

i can get my graphics card to connect on the same machine with guiminer but i cant get the antminers to connect to the wallet over the network. and i cant get the proxy to connect to the wallet either.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Fuelcoin explorer on: July 13, 2014, 07:46:27 AM
Hey everyone i would like to get a fuelcoin explorer made. one of the reasons i would like to get one made is so that i can see 24 hour inputs and outputs from wallet addresses... specifically my own. but i would also like to get a rich list going for the coin. the current block explorer only handles transactions and blocks. not addresses.

it would be great if there was address statistics which could be edited like https://blockchain.info/pools to include the different pools. i am running on windows and dont have a lot of knowledge with linux but i can learn. so i would prefer something i would be able to run in windows.

name your price.
14  Economy / Lending / looking for 1.1btc loan on: July 06, 2014, 03:57:48 PM
Hey guys. i know i dont have very much background here as i am new to the bitcoin world. I have been trading altcoins for about a month and have been doing alot better recently. i also have about 1th/s of antminer s1's. i am running 5 of them currently. and i am looking to purchase 2 of the antminer s3's. i currently have enough to buy almost 4 of them but i dont want to sell out of the markets i have on bittrex and mintpal until i have the miners in hand. i would pay for the customs fees and order them from my account or you could order them from yours and i could provide you with my full information. i could also provide you with verification for my blockchain account if you can teach me how. and even pay an interest rate.

i am looking for 1.1 bitcoin over about a 1 month period. pm me to work something out. and how you would like me to pay. i can provide mining power. or i could sell out of some of the coins i have. i would just like them to mature a bit more as they seem to be doing very well recently. and i wouldnt want to sell out of something now for it to rise by the time i had received the miner.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / P2Pool for Fuelcoin. on: July 01, 2014, 09:26:46 PM
Hey guys i have setup a p2pool for fuelcoin and for the past week i was having alot of problems. not knowing about setting the difficulty manually on my miners they were submitting alot of false shares. and after an hour or two the latency to the fuelcoin-qt would lag like crazy. up to 40 seconds at some times, right now i beleive i have everything working okay and i have about 1th/s on the fuel p2pool at http://99.236.215.227:9222/static/index.html

a friend of mine also is mining with me and only has about 10gh/s but he is getting close to the same payouts as i am. so i am looking for a bit of help to get the payouts working properly. maybe my networks.py arent quite setup right. but these options im using seem to have worked the best for me.

another thing i would like the fix is that the local hashrate displays about 5x lower than it should be and im wondering if there are any options i could change to get it to display more correctly.

payouts are spread across 150 blocks. if im reading correctly with a 15 second share period. with a lower share period the share difficulty drops too low and causes alot of latency to the fuelcoin-qt.

here is my networks.py in the p2pool folder

 fuelcoin=math.Object(
        PARENT=networks.nets['fuelcoin'],
        SHARE_PERIOD=15, # seconds
        CHAIN_LENGTH=24*60*60//10, # shares

        ANNOUNCE_CHANNEL='#p2pool-fuel',
        VERSION_CHECK=lambda v: True,
        VERSION_WARNING=lambda v: 'Upgrade Fuelcoin to >=0.8.5!' if v < 80500 else None,
    ),

and my networks.py in the bitcoin folder

    fuelcoin=math.Object(
        P2P_PREFIX='f5d3a3d0'.decode('hex'),
        P2P_PORT=9111,
        ADDRESS_VERSION=36,
        RPC_PORT=9222,
        RPC_CHECK=defer.inlineCallbacks(lambda bitcoind: defer.returnValue(
            'FuelCoinaddress' in (yield bitcoind.rpc_help()) and

        )),
        SUBSIDY_FUNC=lambda height: 1000*100000000,

        CONF_FILE_FUNC=lambda: os.path.join(os.path.join(os.environ['APPDATA'], 'Fuelcoin') if platform.system() == 'Windows' else os.path.expanduser('~/Library/Application Support/Fuelcoin/') if platform.system() == 'Darwin' else os.path.expanduser('~/.fuelcoin'), 'fuelcoin.conf'),
        BLOCK_EXPLORER_URL_PREFIX='https://usecryptos.com/blockexplorer/FUEL/',
        ADDRESS_EXPLORER_URL_PREFIX='https://usecryptos.com/blockexplorer/FUEL/',

        SANE_TARGET_RANGE=(2**256//1000000000 - 1, 2**256//1000 - 1),
        DUMB_SCRYPT_DIFF=1,
        DUST_THRESHOLD=0.03e8,

we are offering a 200k fuel bounty to help us fix the p2pool for fuel. to get it to display the proper hashrates aswell as the payouts.

i am open to opinions about the fuelcoin-qt latency aswell. and anything to lower the bandwidth should help.

i have changed the fuelcoin.conf file to

this p2pool is running on a 6 core intel 3930k overclocked and watercooled with 32gb of ram. the fuelcoin-qt and the p2pool are both running at high priority on a ram accelerated disk that is capable of 5000mbps in/out
and the internet connection i am using is 250mbps down / 15 mbps up

QOS is not currently set as i cant figure out how to get QOS setup on the pfsense server i am running as my router.
the firewall/router is a 2xdual core server running pfsense as the operating system controlling connections.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Fuel coin p2pool on: June 19, 2014, 06:52:26 AM
hey there everyone i have been getting sick and tired of the pools that fuel coin currently has. they have been ddos'ed alot by the seems of it or just cant stay stable. one is much better than the other but not the point. i am hoping to get someone to make me a networks.py so i am able to make a fuelcoin p2pool. i also have no idea how to do payouts at the moment other than manually. is there something that can achieve this automatically?

sorry if this isnt posted in the right place.

18  Bitcoin / Hardware / Antminer S1 Replacement. on: June 13, 2014, 02:32:29 AM
Hey everyone i am new to mining and havent purchased too much hardware yet. so i am nowhere near able to purchase anything like the s2 or anything of the sort. i currently have 5 antminer s1's. and am wondering if there is anything that is potentially around the same price that could possibly use a bit less power. i saw the rockminers. but they wont be available until the end of the month. is there anything out that is currently shipping?
