43  Economy / Services / Another opportunity to advertise on my website on: July 07, 2014, 04:08:51 PM
Following on from my first faucet thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=626282.0

I yesterday started a new one, however this is just  a straight forward faucet not like my other one.

Having learnt a thing or two whilst building up my BTCFaucet site to 20.000 visitors, I'm happy to say that my new one has had in excess of 2500 visits in the first 12 hours, these are all genuine users who wish to be there, I can assure you of that by the speed my Satoshi balance is going down.

You will note from my previous thread that I work hard on improving my site, and increasing the traffic to it.

So on to what I am offering.

Take a look at the site : http://bitcoingenie.info

If you feel you would benefit from advertising on there let me know.

You chose the spot, length of time, and the price.

You can make up your own spot, and providing it will look ok I will add it, it can be text links or banners

I predict now that I will have this site seeing 8000 uv's per day by the end of this month so please no low balling I know what advertising is worth, but just thought I would give you all a chance to name your price.

Cheers

46  Economy / Auctions / Lets try again shall we ~ Faucet and Faucet list, adsense clean with traffic on: June 11, 2014, 12:35:19 AM
47  Economy / Auctions / Faucet / Faucet List / fair traffic and adsense clean. on: June 11, 2014, 12:20:04 AM
AUCTION END TIMER
Timer removed. End time: 2014-06-14+11:59:00UTC

This has massive potential, there are untold amounts of faucets out there, and the ones that give you a referral % are great the ones that dont you just throw a coinurl redirect it on it, all very easy from the admin panel.

If I think of anything else relevant I will add it, or if you need to ask questions please do.

Winning bidder goes first or I'm happy to use escrow, my preferred escrow would be monbux and the winning bidder will cover fee's

My reason for selling is I have a few other projects that are getting neglected so I need to move on.

The winning bider will receive the domain name ( Free push), all files and database will be backed up and sent to you in a zip, I am happy to help you set it all up, and I can provide hosting if needed ( we can negotiate that) at present its on one of my EU servers and im happy to leave it there.

I will start the auction at what I consider is a fair price in my mind, if its not in your mind I'm sorry but I don't care, so please don't be posting rubbish.

Starting price is 0.25 BTC
Increments in 0.01 BTC please

Thanks
Mark

50  Economy / Services / ░▒▓█ Advertise your site or service on my BTC Faucet with a twist █▓▒░ on: May 26, 2014, 08:39:52 PM

BTC Faucet

Welcome to my advertising sales thread.

URL: http://www.btcfaucet.co.uk

What is BTC Faucet:
Btc Faucet is a Bitcoin faucet, only with a bit of a twist it also provides links to other faucets and
displays lots of information, and even reviews about the displayed 3rd party faucets.

How much traffic do I get per day:
Well this site is now 2 4 weeks old, and has been updated constantly but active advertising on other sites has only started today.
We have paid adverts on similar type sites, and will continue to spend on advertising to increase our core user base.
We are at the time of writing this sales thread receiving around 40-80 550-650 visitors (70.5% of which are new first time visitors) please see image at the foot of this page.

What will I do to keep traffic increasing:
I will continue to pay for advertising, I have also sent several emails out today asking to be included in faucet rotators, and faucet top lists.
I will not rest until this site is not only successful, but one if not the best faucet site there is.

Would it not be better to wait until my site is really busy before offering paid adverts:
No I dont think so for two reasons, one being that the busier the site gets the more the price of my premium advert space will increase.
The other is the fact that the more funds my site generates the more I can spend on advertising, which means a win win situationg for everyone.

Advertising rates and timing:

You will see from the site screen shot above that there are several advertising spaces A-F

A Offered via AdBit.co - current rate is 0.00002BTC

B Offered via AdBit.co - current rate is 0.000015BTC

C These are 200x200 image blocks and I have 5 available.
Rates for these are 0.0065BTC per block for a 3 month period, or 0.01BTC for a 6 month period.

D Coloured text links in bold, these are sold on a 6 month basis and are just 0.002BTC for the full period.

E Main referral links, these will ONLY be sold on a 1 month basis, and we anticipate these to be our bigest seller, if you have a referral link
but the site is not advertised on my site just let me know and I will add it.
These referral links are sold for 0.0035BTC per month per one link.

F The footer banner is 728x90 and is sold on a 3 month basis for 0.006BTC.

Thanks for taking the time to read this post, and should you wish to purchase an advertising spot, just let me know
either by way of a reply here or a PM, if you would prefer to pick up one of my AdBit spaces please pop to my site and click on the space you wish to invest in.

Thanks
Mark

55  Bitcoin / Pools / 3 S1's ~~ 3 Pools ? or 3 S1's ~~ 1 Pool ? on: May 20, 2014, 01:13:05 PM
Hi all

Just a little advice to save me pool hoping and making nothing whist experimenting

I have just ordered 2 more S1's so that will make 3 when I get them, at present I have my single unit on BTCGuild, although I sometimes move it to GHash, and Slush's pool

I also have a Butterfly Labs 25GH/s thing, and a shit loads of erupters  the usb sticks are mining FRC so they can stay there, and the 25GH/s is on GHash at present.

But anyway back to the question

Do I put all 3 ant's on one pool and if so which one would you guys put the 3 on if it were you.

Or do I hedge my bets and spread them, 1 on BTCGuild, 1 on GHash, and the other on Slush's pool ?

I guess a lot of you are mining multi setups so what do you do ?

Thanks guys

56  Economy / Digital goods / CEX.IO Voucher codes 30% cheaper than eBay..... on: May 19, 2014, 06:23:20 PM

CEX-CODES

  • Cant get a start in Bitcoin ?
  • Cant afford any mining equipment yet ?
  • Cant buy Bitcoins ?

If any of the above is an issue for you then we can help !

On average we are 30% cheaper than the US and the UK eBay price per GH/s for cex.io voucher codes.

All our codes are delivered to you via Paypal tracking, this means we can prove to Paypal that you have received your voucher code.

You will get an email from us stating that your order has now been processed, and around the same time you will also get an email from Paypal giving you your tracking info... Your tracking number IS your cex.io voucher code.

Should your email not arrive from Paypal, just login to your account and view the purchase details, the voucher code will be displayed there.

Start your Bitcoin experiance now, buy some GH/s and watch it mine some coins for you !

To start your journey or to top up what you all ready have please visit our website:

Please feel free to ask any questions you want.

59  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / $500 would you invest in CEX or Hardware ? on: May 08, 2014, 02:43:11 PM
So im pretty new to BTC so bear that in mind when answering please.

I like what I see so am going to throw $500 at it and see what happens, I have 20GH/s on cex.io making a little passive income.

So should I invest my money there

Or

Should I buy a miner and do it from home ?

I can see upsides to both, on cex I dont have to worry about electricity or hardware failures, but of coarse the income output would be lower, if I purchased a miner I can move it around, but have to pay more electic bills, and then if it goes up in smoke that is it.

I'm swaying towards cex to be honest, because I still have the option there to take my money back at if i wish.

Can some one give me an example of what 180-200GH/s on cex would make in BTC per week please ?

So what would you all do ?

Thanks in advance for your comments and replies

Cheers
