The East London Bitcoin Academy will be offering one week 9am-5pm extensive and affordable Bitcoin and Crypto Currency training starting in October 2014.

We are raising funds for one years classroom rental for 20-30 students, computers, mining hardware, 2 full time staff and guest trainers. The school will be running affordable (possibly free) week long Bitcoin classes covering a number of Bitcoin and Crypto Currency subjects. Our curriculum will be dynamic and updated weekly to reflect the fast moving pace of digital currency. Specialist evening classes will also be run by guest trainers and speakers of exciting new crypto technologies.

Subjects will include:

Introduction to Bitcoin, obtaining Bitcoins and other digital currencies, blockchain technologies, wallets and security, cold storage, hardware technologies, alternative currency technologies and trading, building and renting mining rigs, Bitcoin and the law, crypto crowdfunding, point of sale and online payments, Crypto PR and marketing, crypto equity and commodities, the history of Bitcoin and Satoshi Nakamoto's vision, launching your own crypto currency.

I have been a trainer in the IT and fundraising sectors for over 10 years and want to combine that experience with my love for crypto currencies. I am also looking for positive and intelligent people who are just as passionate about teaching others the benefits of Bitcoin and crypto currencies as I am. Please contact me if you feel this is a project you would like to get involved with particularly those with experience in teaching/training, building rigs and launching coins and a passion for all things crypto.

We also hope to launch our own crypto currency within our first month with the help of our students.

Fundraising scenarios:

£3000 will get us our classroom for 3 months, students pay a fee and bring their own laptop.

£6000 will get us our classroom for 6 months, students pay a fee and bring their own laptop.

£12,000 will get us our classroom for a year, students pay a fee and bring their own laptop.

£25,000 will get us our classroom for a year, students pay a fee, 20/30 laptops/computers and mining hardware.

£60000 will get us our classroom for a year, computers and mining hardware, 2 full time staff members and be able to offer free classes to unemployed people and extremely cheap classes for those in work.
