1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Got some work for people interested in coding on: February 16, 2016, 09:27:23 PM
Hi There,

OK so I got nearly 100USD equivalent to spend on the creation of an Altcoin, customer demand.

Requirements:
Standard litecoin clone
100mil coins total of which 20mil premined
Proof of work, but proof of stake also fine
Compile of windows + mac client software (we will host the daemon for the customer and hand over the 20mil to him)

Got £300 equivalent on completion of first prototype + £200 on implementation

Requirements:
User friendly, visually pleasing "web based IOS wallet solution"
including: QR input functionality (probably photo upload) easy to use send and receive options
Password at sign up and a warning issued when there are too many coins in the wallet

There is 2500 GBP equivalent available for some other jobs as well, we are swamped so we need some help with the incoming.

Thanks a lot, and you see we don't only take from the community but also give back.  Roll Eyes Kiss

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN][CNR] Coinectar - New Crypto currency project - funded by Cointopay.com on: May 27, 2015, 09:10:39 AM
Hello there fellow imhovaters!

This is an announcement to launch the Coinectar crypto currency.

What makes this crypto currency so special?

1) It is hard linked to the euro, meaning when you buy Coinectar at a gateway the price is always that of 1 euro.
If people will try to pump it that can be done, but it can never go lower than 1 euro.
2) It will be the native currency for all cointopay platforms. Meaning that you can convert altcoins to Coinectar and visa versa using the HoudiniS.W.A.P. extension.
3) It has an interest rate, this has to be determined, rates might vary. Interest rate is provided by gateway wallet service
4) Unlimited supply, there are no limits
5) It will be proof of stake based with 100% premine
6) It acts as database with additional rpc calls to determine other cointopay compatible platforms
7) You can download a windows or linux wallet (this will not give interest)

If you feel other requirements need to be built in let me know. We are looking for some devs to start this. Will report back once I have more information.

Devs, please contact via this topic or PM. Let's do this Leeroy!
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Buy Altcoins with bitcoin on Cointopay.com! on: May 25, 2015, 09:06:38 PM
Yes, Payeer is now accepting bitcoin as payment for processing, that means that you can now buy altcoins with bitcoin on cointopay.com

Also, since 18-05-2015 you can now order altcoins with International VISA and Mastercard again. Woowoo!

P.S. You can also order carboncoin via carbonshopper.com with Paypal!

Cointopay.com is banned from Paypal, hence the happyness that can at least do some business again.  Cheesy

Go ahead and buy some @ Cointopay.com!
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Who is a bagholder and who is a bitcoin fanboy (and bagholder) on: May 19, 2015, 08:41:00 AM
Hi guys,

Let's be open about it, who is holding massive amounts of altcoins hoping that the coin will hit all time highs?

But also who is a bitcoin fanboy, or even a paid bitcoin fanboy. Let's open up. ;-)

My story is that I began to gain interest in crypto currencies after learning about Litecoin. Currently I am basically fan of every crypto currencies for it's strenghts and weaknesses. Actually Cointopay.com is not bagholding any coins, believe it or not. We just have some funds that we convert to fiat (for those that want it). Others see crypto as a long term investment and keep them on their accounts.

What I see is that there are at least 40 crypto's that are here to stay.

I think that when it comes to innovation the supercoins/altcoins are the way to go. Let me know what you think!

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Cointopay.com - Decentralized payment provider on: May 18, 2015, 09:02:47 PM
Hi,

Would like to announce that you can all run your own crypto payment processors or multi-crypto wallets! All coins from poloniex, bittrex and bleutrade are supported and your own, you can run every crypto currency in different modes, like secure cloud, xchange and/or interconnect mode.

You can run the following licenses:
- dev mode 15 euro
- personal 99 euro
- business 1399 euro
- enterprise 4995 euro

The great part is that you can make a good profit by either asking a monthly fee to all your users or just selling crypto via your own payeer or paypal account.

Operational cost for the platform:
Only 10 dollar per month(!!) that can even include one altcoin daemon. Is that amazing or what.  Roll Eyes

Read more here, has download link with manual instruction.

If you invent a decentralized payment network with many good 'altcoins', then why on earth would you work with a centralized company? Exactly.

The platform supports ALL coins, get it.. ALL coins. Grin Features will be added via requests.

6  Economy / Service Announcements / Cointopay launched CoinMarket on: May 19, 2014, 08:28:24 AM
The CoinMarket is a market module on top of the base Cointopay service. Once a person creates a Cointopay account one can immediately create offerings without any hassle of integrating and maintaining shopping carts. It's a fully hosted cart through which the buyers can check out with Bitcoin and Litecoin.

Cointopay is a payment service provider startup that wants to offer a multitude of cryptocurrencies and basically acts as a bank account. Fees are 0% unless you want to pay out, then we charge 0.5%.

We are looking for people to setup their carts, provide feedback and start using the service.

We will send out 100 Litecoins total to people that provided a value-add to the company's goals e.g. that generate new business. We will hand pick them after discussion internally.

We are also looking for partners and investors that support:
- Insured online wallets
- Fully anonymous wallets (except user/email address)
- Multi-crypto support

Looking forward to your inputs!

Stella
