1  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB : Older Generation Miners on: June 26, 2019, 09:11:08 PM
I am looking for 100-200 older generation miners, algorithm is not important.

Looking to pay $8-13 per TH for SHA256 miners in the 10-18TH Range...depending on the brand, condition and which PSU is included

Let me know what you have available, I need to miners to be delivered to Panama, but am willing to work with a seller to figure that out.

As a note, I will insist on using well known escrow.

2  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB- old miners on: January 07, 2018, 02:59:41 AM
I have a big space to fill and  will consider any of the following miners. I obviously prefer newer miners but for the right price I will take older units

Antminer- S5, S7,S9,T9,R4
Avalon 6/721/741
Spondoodles- SP50, SP35

3  Economy / Goods / WTB:Rare Coins (US) and US silver (Pre 1965) on: January 07, 2018, 01:59:41 AM
I am interested in buying Numismatic US coins, and bulk pre 1933 US gold and pre 1965 "Junk" silver coins for bitcoin.

For numismatic coins , let me know what you have in PM and we can discuss price and escrow terms.

For 90% Pre-1965 silver I am only interested in purchasing in bulk.. I will pay over spot for certain coins/conditions.. so let me know what you would like to sell and we can discuss the price..

For pre-1933 gold, I will buy single coins based on condition.

Due to the nature of the coin business and bitcoin I will only deal with escrow.

4  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / SHA256d IC design question on: January 02, 2018, 02:18:58 AM
for any ASIC/FPGA designers , I would love to have an offline discussion about this

What is the possibility that someone would have verified verilog/VHDL  for an SHA256d ASIC  from a current or defunct company ( BF or BM28NM for example) that they would be willing to sell ? Does anyone know if the 16nm and 10nm designs use the same logic as the 28nm, as it seems to me that is the case.

Is anyone trying to complete a improved ASIC at this point ?

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What do you look for in an altcoin ? on: January 02, 2018, 01:51:33 AM
I am just curious, what are people general looking at when investing in a new altcoin ?

It may be a symptom of the fact that altcoins by nature all decentralized and open source but The market is crowed with hundreds of coins that as far as I can tell are not very differentiated or have weak use cases  that have solid price performance.. add to that anytime there is a compelling use case there are copies/forks...

How to sort the wheat from the chaffe ? Why are there no analysts doing detailed research on coins at this juncture, I would have expected some smart CFAs to come in and capitalize on the lack of analysis by offering a paid service of some sort.

IMHO The biggest success's in terms of return on investment over the past 3 years have generally been coins that are controlled pretty tightly by the devs are hard to duplicate and have been well funded... can that provide us any insight  ?
6  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB: Ebit E9s, S7s, S9s on: January 01, 2018, 04:39:59 AM
I am looking to pickup 200TH, will consider S7s or newer ( nothing more than 28nm)..

That being said the price has to be reasonable.. I understand folks can sell miners for stupid prices on ebay right now, more power to them. I am trying to arrange to buy these in bulk from someone who recently upgraded their mine.. so if you just have a few miners and/or want to take advantage of the price spike.. I am not your guy

Will only trade with trusted members, with escrow, photos for proof and so on...

PM me your offer.
7  Economy / Goods / Guitar Amp Company asking Which Cryptos to Accept on: June 14, 2017, 05:39:49 AM
This may be OT, but might help those who want to get support for various alt coins.

This Guitar company, Panama Guitars, has a post on facebook asking for feedback on which alts to accept so I figured I would post here as well.
