Still in the spirit of the new year resolutions, and from the experiences of the past year's I have come up with my new year Bitcoin goal.
The target is to hodle till MAYBAC
I have always dreamed of owning the Mercedes Maybach 2020 model which I worked hard in 2021 to save up for my dream car but life happens and I never meet my target in 2021, but this year 2022 am all set to achieve this dream so am gonna buy the dip and hold until bitcoin reach $100,000 before selling to acquire my dream car so I have set my target for the year as minimum $173,000 which is the price for the Mercedes. What are your 2022 targets and goals?

My altcoin Jurney has been full of excitement and lessons and in this thread, I reflect on what I have experienced and how I was able to manage my risks and uncertainties and come up with little or no losses in my altcoin portfolio.
The most important lesson is never to get too greedy once your investment made a certain profit just cash out and move on rather than waiting on the big 100x profits that may never come and can lead to losses if the coin gets dumped.
Take Hex coin for example I invested some amount in the coin when the project first launched with a very low price of 0.0005 and I bought around 50k of the coin that was a $25 investment at that time but the same coin raised to 0.49 in 2021 before dropping back 0.24 at the present price, let say I sold my $25 investment of 2 years at the peak price of $0.49=$25,500 that could have been huge profits but guess what I sold at the $0.005 which is much less but lessons learn always make the right decision at the right time.

 The first Genesis block was mined in January 3 2009 and a total of 50 bitcoins was mined as a reward, on 3rd of January 2022 the Bitcoin harsh rate made a new all time high of 207.53 exharsh per second which some analysts suggested that Bitcoin celebrated its 13th birthday which is the 3rd of January with this exciting new all-time hash rate. Well I decided to create this thread to share my Bitcoin mistake and the lesson has learned from those mistakes, around February I invested leftover funds of around $400 in buying Bitcoin and at that time Bitcoin was around
$10, 500 and I held for over a year and when the price of Bitcoin got to $40,000 I sold out my $400 investment which give me 3x+ profits but just within some days later the price of Bitcoin hit $67k and since then have not returned to the price I sold it which gives me a vegetable feeling any time I think of this investment. So I will like to give out very simple advice please keep holding your Bitcoin your investment is safer in Bitcoin and for great peace of mind always try to hold your Bitcoin as Bitcoin price is limitless am going to join the steel hands, Bitcoin holders, very soon.
One of the ways I save my Bitcoin is by buying during the deep never looking at it again for over some time. I have learned big from that small mistake of the past 2020-2021.

Bitcoin has been rumored dead by media and the anti Bitcoin crusaders for so many times in the time past and 2021 alone Bitcoin has been rumored to be dead for 45 times and a total of 438 times rumors of Bitcoin being dead since 2010 and yet Bitcoin has always proven to be alive active and still gaining more public attention.
My question is why are those anti Bitcoin media always peddling rumors about Bitcoin each time the coin increase in it the price is their work with the government just to discredit Bitcoin, why is mainstream media always used to perpetrate evils against oppositions.

Kevin Lee a mixed metal fighter recently sign a contract with a Russian base Eagle fighting Champion and Lee will be getting paid in Bitcoin, Kevin Lee expressed his excitement of the part of the contract that states he will be getting paid in Bitcoin because payment in Bitcoin will not give him push back. Is also on record that the champion has been a Bitcoin holder for some years now. As the festivities get high in spirit a lot of players are now taking part in different games in my neighborhood I saw some individuals playing different games with animals from horse to bull and even cow racing all over the street and I stop to wonder if this kind of game healthy for those animals some people think that using animals for such games is being harsh on the animal well being.

So I had a great holiday season all with the help of Bitcoin I came from an underdeveloped country where the rate of unemployment is pretty high and many youths are left to do some hard jobs just to survive even graduates with University degrees have no paying jobs I got to know about this forum some months ago and since then my financial life was transformed and the Christmas happens to be my best I can now earn little money to take care of my financial needs all with the help of Bitcoin-related jobs both on this forum and off the forum. Before I proceed to the main point of this thread let me share a story that can help our understanding of the thread in a better way.
There was a certain time when a megabank exit scam happen in my country, the bank liquidated with investors, customers, and staffs funds running into billions of dollars. It was a devastating situation to the general public and even the government at that time without any solution to the problem. But the government through the central bank came up with a policy to contrail avert future occurrence of such scams and the central came off with what is called, Banks capital reserves where all banks deposit huge percentages with the central bank where all deposits will be paid back from in the case of any financial problems arising from such financial banks in the future.
In that way, the central pay back all legitimate and verified deposits, staff, and investors.
Back to the main reason for this thread
@theymos and the other administrators of this forum can come up with such a policy such as what we have with the forum banners space where new projects that require the services and investment of members of this forum deposits a certain amount in a forum escrow account where all unsettled payments and refunds are made from in the case of the project not succeeding or an exit scams.
What this will result in is!
1: Eradication of scam projects from this forum
2: easy means of addressing any issue coming from
investors and staffs and project team
3: project team will have a sense of responsibility to put in they best to push the project to succeed.

1 investors
2 bounty hunters
3 managers

Be a data-driven Bitcoin holder or an emotionally attached Bitcoin holder, these two terms have constantly played a big role in the bitcoin market and its future growth as they both have a strong stitch on Bitcoin.
What is data-driven?
I data-based information is information collected from past events and happening which are stored for future reference and usage.
What is Emotional driven?
Emotional driven is the attitude of getting emotionally attached to a situation be it presents or past happening.
Analysis
Both data and emotion play a similar role in our decision-making process most especially in a statically oriented asset such as Bitcoin quite a large number of Bitcoin investors/holders rely on data collected from past events to make the decision. But again a large number of bitcoin holders are carried away by emotions without any reference to past data but just on their feelings and experience. Data-driven will help to make an accurate prediction e.g when Bitcoin is on the correctional stage, going through past data will help you to know how the previous correction stage went so you have a guide, But emotional driven will force the holder to jump on the bandwagon and panic sale.
It is better to be a data-driven Bitcoin holder rather than being carried away by emotions.

Lost Bitcoin are bitcoins that are locked forever or you this are coins that are lost with the private keys to the wallet unrecoverable, what impact does this has on the Bitcoin network and price since the coins are lost forever there will not be activities from the wallet holding so the network does t get congested because its activities and also the total Bitcoin supply will be reduced which bring scarcity.
So in totality when the available supply is limited and the demand increase the holders of Bitcoin gain interest so the price system of bitcoin work just like every other system with various features
