2  Economy / Goods / Ultimate Bitcoin Wallet 0.3 BTC shipped WorldWide on: June 01, 2013, 08:35:20 AM
This is for a physical wallet to hold cash and cards.
Made out of Tyvex which is tear resistant and water resistant and ages well giving it a nice touch.

Very slim wallets that expand and adapt to the contents.

4 pockets for cards with print on the inside as well.

I have been selling custom wallets in Geneva Switzerland for the last year and have gone through a few suppliers and now have a reliable one.
I have been wanting these for a while now and am about to order Custom Bitcoin branded wallets this coming week.
This does depend on getting some orders in.
All comments welcome.

Here is a mockup:

The picture of coins will not be as flashy as depicted here but will come out good in my opinion.

Other wallets I have received in the past can be downloaded here to give you an idea:
https://mega.co.nz/#F!d91h3KIY!VSrTZ0sMY7sw6VtRKdNvmA
I have a few more I will add over the weekend.

Once order is placed, it takes 3 weeks to arrive and then I can ship them out so as of posting this today, delay is expected to be 5 weeks.

Price for 1 wallet is 0.3BTC
Price for 10 wallets is only 2BTC

Order through PM and here below Smiley
3  Economy / Services / {Done}WTB US postal Money Order for $300 & Mailed to CA on: April 09, 2013, 08:59:12 PM
Looking for someone to provide the following one off service in exchange for Bitcoins.

Go to the post office and ask for a US postal money order in the amount of $300

You ask for a money order made out to a certain amount of money and you
pay for it.

You send the money order in the same condition that it was handed to you: with the stub attached and NOTHING written on the money order where it says "To" and "From" and "Memo" etc.

Please do NOT write any NAME on the money order; just leave it blank.

A photo would be appreciated.

A further safety precaution is to sandwich the money order between a single layer of aluminum foil and to always place the money order inside a full sheet of folded paper so you can't easily see through the envelope under strong light.

My name and email can be on a Post It included in the enveloppe.

The enveloppe is to be sent by priority with Delivery confirmation to CA.

As soon as possible would be good too.

Anyone willing to help me out ? Thank you to quote me a reasonable BTC price.

Many many thanks,

It's to make a donation, and I have talked about bitcoin indeed.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / my client crashed... Need light weight wallet on: March 07, 2013, 09:22:07 AM
I got faced with the following error on my ubuntu:

EXCEPTION: NSt8ios_base7failureE
CAutoFile::read : end of file
bitcoin in AppInit()

EXCEPTION: NSt8ios_base7failureE
CAutoFile::read : end of file
bitcoin in CMyApp::OnUnhandledException()

I read elsewhere that I should delete the block data as my power plug got pulled with no battery on my laptop likely resulting in some error in the block download.

On my current system, I have 4 blk*.dat files of 2gb each roughly. Is this normal to have so many blk files?

-Where can we get the expected size of these blk.dat files ?
-Overall, I have 300MB left on my current system and would like a light wallet option ?

thank you !

8  Economy / Currency exchange / Swiss Bitcoinmarket.ch - 300 Bitcoins available on: June 16, 2012, 12:31:43 PM
My humble start in trading Bitcoins for Swiss francs in 100% manual fashion for now on

www.bitcoinmarket.ch

This is more as a convenience than a place to take advantage of massive price swings Smiley

Currently have around 800300 BTC for sale over the next days for deposits on my postal account or cash in the mail of Swiss notes at your own risk Smiley

Everything will be honoured to the best of my capability based on the last price of MTGOX converted to Swiss francs once funds are received.

If not acceptable for either party, funds will be reimbursed promptly and you cannot hold me liable Smiley

Deals can be confirmed by phone or we can meet in person for somewhat large amounts on the west side of Switzerland.

If lunch/dinner is offered, I am willing to move around Switzerland too, or meet somewhere in between Smiley

For Swiss residents only.

Chocolate and Swiss Army knives will be offered shortly worldwide.

Considering having a CHF account traded on GLBSE for those willing to transfer bitcoins to Swiss francs easily dependent on interest...

Cheers,

13  Economy / Economics / Economic policy of the eurozone needs to be decided in "dark, secret rooms" on: May 12, 2011, 07:09:40 PM
Translated from french http://www.egaliteetreconciliation.fr/Juncker-Vous-devez-mentir-quand-cela-devient-important-6532.html
.

****
Der Spiegel reported Friday, May 6, 2011, according to government sources in Germany, Greece had threatened to leave the euro area shortly before the holding of a secret meeting of finance ministers of the euro area the same day in Luxembourg City .

Contrepoints.org was the first news website in French GP to relay this information.

The phantom meeting

This news caused a sharp decline in the price of the euro and EU officials, as well as Greek and German governments, have been quick to deny the content of the article.

Immediately, many journalists have contacted Guy Schuller, a spokesman for Prime Minister of Luxembourg Jean-Claude Juncker, the man who is also head of the Council of Ministers of Finance of the euro area.

Orally and in writing, Mr. Schuller has repeatedly stated that no meeting of the Eurogroup was held this evening.

We now know that there was indeed a Eurogroup meeting this Friday, May 6 in Luxembourg. Officially, of course, Greece exiting the euro was not on the agenda. Mr. Schuller has subsequently clarified that he was asked to lie by denying the existence of this meeting to protect the interests of the euro on Wall Street.

Why lie?

Asked if such a deliberate disinformation to undermine the future market confidence in the statements of the Eurogroup, Mr. Schuller said, "none", indicating that the markets had already virtually no confidence in statements of European leaders.

Mr. Schuller has even illustrated his remarks by saying that when Mr Juncker and Jean-Claude Trichet of the European Central Bank, or the French Finance Minister Christine Lagarde said something to the markets, "nobody seems to believe."

Inform markets and lie to them when it becomes important

Jean-Claude Juncker has been president of the Eurogroup since 2005. The main responsibility of this function is to inform the financial markets and economy in the euro area.

It will not surprise regular readers of Counterpoints but Mr Juncker has a history of lying as part of his duties. However, it is rare that a policy clearly expresses its support for the practice of lying.

That is what Mr Juncker in this video, filmed at a conference held in April 2011, where he states that "when it becomes important, you have to lie."

15  Economy / Marketplace / Internet Cash Card for 200USD Mastercard on: February 07, 2011, 11:43:09 PM
I setup an auction for the following:

The Internet Cash card can only be used on the Internet.
It is not possible to withdraw cash from an ATM and a physical card is not needed.

It is prepaid and can only be used up to the amount on the card.

This can be used where the MasterCard sign is present. No annual fee, valid until 2015. There is a fee when loading the card, and I need to do that, but is included in BTCs. Every transaction has a fixed fee of 3USD debited from the card.

Can be refilled upto 10K USD and not more than 100KUSD in a 365 day period. Recharge is done through BTC and there can be delays depending on amount, and at a minimum 8 hours. Future auctions will come.

Upon the first transaction, you will need to determine a Secure Code for future uses.

This card has an initial deposit of 200USD.

Will be provided: 16 digit Card number, expiration date, 3digit on the reverse, and Internet-Code.
The Internet Code is used to access a website to view all transactions.

Let me know of any interest for such cards, currency can be in USD, Euros or CHF. Fees will apply if used in another currency than the card.
Other availability is Travel Cash Card available in the same 3 currencies for withdraw and payment everywhere where the Maestro sign is present, so not on the internet. Same limits and recharging options apply; mailing of physical card is needed. No name on card.

Auction for Internet Cash is available on http://bitcoinmarket.ch/item.php?id=2&mode=1
Ending in one week. Hopefully someone willing to refill it and use in the future;

PM with your email if interested in another card or higher amounts or if you just don't like auctions.
16  Economy / Marketplace / need to send a money order in the US in exchange of BTC on: January 27, 2011, 09:27:27 AM
I offered to help with 100$ someone in the US in dire need, and have used Western Union in the past-

I find them a bit expensive and would prefer to pay someone in bitcoins who could do a money order maybe? Is a money order the easiest, simplest way to send cash to someone in the US?

Is someone in the US willing to do this transaction for me? for 250 BTC?

Thank you
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Difficulty vs. Value on Mtgox on: January 26, 2011, 02:07:00 PM
What is the relationship between difficulty to solve blocks vs value on MtGox?
Is this historic data available about the difficulty level and prices on MtGox and what does an extrapolation reveal?

At what point does an increased value compensate for the change in difficulty?

Thank you for any thoughts,
