What is Genoma Network?
Genoma Network is a social platform that offers users the possibility to create their own video channels, radio programs or write news and articles, share photos, share knowledge in groups, create their own online stores, watch series and movies, enjoy their favourite music among other things, all in one place, with just one username and password.
The platform is free for everyone, but also there are subscription services, such as the series and movies service, Genoma Music, Genoma Adsense system, highlighting a post or publishing a product on e-commerce. All payments on the platform will be made using GNM, The platform's own cryptocurremcy
All users, from the moment they create their account, already have a GNM wallet that they can use to transact on and off the platform. When users want to deposit money in their account, buy a product or pay for a service, they must buy GNM.
This has many use cases. Below I only mention two examples:
- Users will be able to support their favorite content creators by sending them GNM as donations.
- This will make it easier for small businesses to accept GNM as money in countries where the use of cryptocurrencies is accepted. When they need FIAT money to pay salaries, taxes, buy products and other things, they can sell their coins to other users on the Genoma Exchange at the price they want.
As of November 22th, 2021 you will be able to download the first version of our application for smartphones from Google Play.

Mission
The Genoma Network mission can be summarized in the following points:
- Offer internet users a modern and safe alternative to Facebook
- Bringing everyone closer to the world of blockchain
Genoma Coin (GNM)
Genoma (GNM) is a Decentralised Peer-to-Peer Currency created to be used as a fast, secure and low-cost payment system for Genoma Network by leveraging the unique properties of blockchain technology.
Was created based on the Bitcoin (BTC) protocol and the Litecoin (LTC) hashing algorithm, but it differs in the hard cap, block transaction times and a few other factors. Genoma (GNM) has a block time of just 5 minutes and extremely low transaction fees, making it suitable for micro-transactions and point-of-sale payments.
How many GNM are there in circulation?
Genoma (GNM) launched its main-net on October 2021 with 10 million coins created at genesis. Like most Proof-of-Work (POW) cryptocurrencies, the amount of GNM in circulation gradually increases with each newly mined block.
As of October 26th, 2021, 10,711,500 GNM have already been mined out of a total maximum supply of 100 million. GNM developers estimated that it will take more than 115 years until the miners resolve the last block with reward (around the year 2136) — since the number of GNM mined per block decreases every two years as part of the block reward halving schedule.
Today there are still no coins in circulation because, as of the date of publication of this description, the ICO of the coin has not yet been carried out.
That initial amount will be used as follows:
60%: Pre-sale, initial funding of the project and project lifetime.
40%: Support and guarantee of the deposits of Genoma Network users who decide to trust the project's wallet, in case the project receives attacks or suffers losses due to team responsibility.
Genoma Network is a large project and, like any new project, there may be security risks at the beginning that will be discovered with experience and the growth of the system. If at any time something goes wrong, the company will have the possibility to refund to its users the balances that have been lost due to an error of our team.
How is the Genoma Network secured?
As a blockchain-based cryptocurrency, Genoma Coin (GNM) is secured by incredibly strong cryptographic defenses — making it practically impossible to crack.
Like Bitcoin and several other cryptocurrencies, Genoma Coin (GNM) uses the PoW Consensus algorithm to ensure transactions are confirmed quickly and without errors. The combined strength of the Genoma mining network prevents double-spends and a range of other attacks, while ensuring the network has 100% uptime.

About the source code
After what happened with Gen of Liberty (GEN), we are not going to publish the Genoma Coin (GNM) code. We are already working on the first version of the Genoma Network platform, and you will be able to download the app for Google Play and Apple Store in mid/late-November 2021. The first version will only contain the wallet so that users can transfer and receive coins, but every 2 or 3 weeks we will release new features. The next one is the chat and friend requests.
