21  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] Four USB Block Eruptors on eBay on: November 12, 2013, 12:30:41 AM
You can see the listing here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=321248052026.

22  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] Android Tablet on: November 09, 2013, 07:24:00 PM
It's the one in this listing: http://www.amazon.com/MID_M729-Android-Cortex-1-2Ghz-Camera/dp/B009PIQFHA.

The one that I have is in pretty nice condition; aside from one or two scratches on the front, it works perfectly (and it's factory reset, so no software installed).

It includes the tablet (obviously), the charging cable, and two USB cables (one for transferring files to a computer and one for attaching a 3G dongle or any other USB device).

I'm asking 0.14 BTC for it (~$50 right now), which includes shipping to the USA with USPS priority mail.  This price will change if the price of Bitcoin goes up or down.

My terms are as follows:
1. I will provide a picture of the device powered on upon mailing (as I'm inserting it into the box).  You accept this as proof of the condition stated.
2. If there are any problems with the device upon receipt, we will go through USPS INSURANCE to get your money back (as I will have proven that the device was working upon sending).  Priority mail includes $50 of insurance.
3. I will use escrow, however: You must pay the (nonrefundable) shipping charges directly to me before I ship the device.  This is usually around $5 to $6.  In addition, you will have to agree to cover any currency fluctuation (so that when the escrow is released, I will have received the equivalent of $50).

Feel free to ask any questions in this thread, in PM, or on Freenode IRC (my nick is danieldaniel).

It sparked a little mini-discussion about Bitcoin.
27  Other / Off-topic / How to fuck up your packages (free) on: October 14, 2013, 09:40:23 PM
I figured this out the other day.  Not sure if any of you are interested in it, but I decided to post it anyways:

1. Order tracking labels at https://store.usps.com/store/browse/productDetailSingleSku.jsp?productId=P_LABEL400&categoryId=subcatMSS_PriorityMail (No cost; takes a week or two to come; you can order up to 4 packs of 50 at once)
2. Fill out letter as you normally would
3. Put tracking label as shown here: http://grab.by/r9jy
4. Within a few hours of being picked up, you should be able to track it at usps.com

Here's how it looked when I tried it out: http://grab.by/r9jO (this package will be delivered tomorrow).

If you got some use out of this, feel free to donate to 17QAPwXnqXX771j2CB7y2ahuoX76X4aipv.

^^Don't use this.  I was wrong.
28  Economy / Computer hardware / Looking for any FPGAs or GPUs people want to give away on: October 14, 2013, 02:59:11 PM
I will pay for all shipping costs.  This is just for people who have no use for them (as you can't really mine with them anymore).

I might also pay token amounts of BTC for FPGAs, but don't expect to get what you paid for it.
29  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] USB Rubber Ducky on: October 13, 2013, 02:07:49 PM
As shown here: http://hakshop.myshopify.com/products/usb-rubber-ducky.

The deluxe would be better, but standard is OK.  PM me if you have one.

32  Bitcoin / Hardware / Jalapeno Question on: September 23, 2013, 10:49:55 PM
Every 30 seconds or so, my Jalapeno goes to 5900Mhps for a second then back up to 7300.... It only lasts for a fraction of a second.

Is this normal?  If not, any idea why it happens?
33  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] BFL Jalapeno on: September 21, 2013, 08:15:49 PM
I just got my Jalapeno back from BFL (I RMA'd it), since mine was broken.  This Jalapeno is the 7GH model, which costs ~$374 (IIRC) directly from BFL.

I don't NEED to sell it, but if someone makes a good offer, I'll definitely sell it.

In order to keep this thread concise, I will delete any offers that I do not want to accept.  Don't take it personally.  Smiley

Top unaccepted offer so far: 2.5BTC.
34  Economy / Currency exchange / Buy BTC with CC! on: September 20, 2013, 11:29:23 PM
I want a Pandora One gift card, which costs $4.  I will pay 0.02 BTC.

You can buy this with a credit card.

Nevermind!
35  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / How to interface directly with USB eruptor? on: September 16, 2013, 01:16:13 PM
For instance, how would I send something to be hashed?  Is it even possible?

If so, code example?
36  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] In-Hand Jalapeno on: September 14, 2013, 03:02:15 PM
See http://www.ebay.com/itm/321207597331?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649.  Bid in there and you can pay the appropriate amount in BTC (Bitstamp or CoinBase last, your choice).  I will mark it as paid and ship it.

NOTE: If you would like to pay with PayPal, you must meet my req's on the bottom of the listing.

This topic is self-moderated.  I will delete any offers that I will not accept.
37  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] In-Hand Jalapeno (No pre-orders) on: September 07, 2013, 08:38:25 PM
I will not pay an outrageous price.  I am not expecting to ROI on this, but want it as a novelty.

Name your price Smiley.

40  Economy / Scam Accusations / ACM Check Fraud on: September 02, 2013, 02:08:18 PM
I have had someone on IRC contact me about sending me a check for BTC.  He said it came from ACM (http://www.acm.org), so I Google'd it and found this at the bottom of the page.

Quote
Check Scam Alert
The Association has become aware of a check fraud scheme where fraudulent checks that appear to come from the Association for Computing Machinery are being used to purchase items from Craigslist or possibly eBay. The Association does not make such purchases. You should contact your local police authorities if you receive one of these fraudulent checks.

Obviously, the user on IRC was attempting to scam me with a fraudulent check.

Just remember: Never accept checks from someone that you don't trust.
