I entered in my ubuntu terminal

Code:

and the deamon starts but then I wait any minutes and nothing happens in the terminal.
I thought I must start the deamon first and then I can enter the next commands for example

Code:
bitcoind -getdifficulty

to get the difficulty.

2  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / send BTC generate new address? on: February 15, 2012, 05:10:22 PM
If I have 50 BTC on my address and I want to send 10 BTS to another address then the rest of 50 BTC = 40 BTC will sent to a new generated address.
I know that was integrated to make the flow more anonymous.

Is there a possibilty to deactivate this function?

Because I need a clean simple transaction history where I and other users can check it.
3  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / every transaction a new bitcoin address? on: January 13, 2012, 11:09:28 AM
I have a question. I sent a small amount of Bitcoins to another address and I checked my Bitcoinaddress in blockexplorer. There I've seen that the balance is zero and all Bitcoins would be sent to another address.

But I can't see the new generated address in the client and I would prefer that only the Bitcoins will transfered which I sent to an address and the rest will keep on the old address. So I can check all transactions in blockexplorer in one table.

Why the client will sent the rest of amount to the new address?

Was meint ihr dazu?
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Bitcoin what is the trend now? on: December 19, 2011, 01:42:40 PM
Today I have a good message for all Bitcoin pessimists the pricecrash is done for longer time!!  Tongue

I have followed the prices and order books on mtGox, bitcoin.de, intersange and more.

What I have seen is big change in the order books.

From august to november the ask volume was similar to the bid volume or higher what means that trader were more interessted to sell Bitcoin than buy them.

But in the last weeks the situation has changed significantly so that we had a lot of higher bid volumne than ask volume what means that the interessting was changed from sell to strong buy.

And today the tradingvolume was going up quickly and to 5$ and I see a very small ask volume and no seller.

I think that the price could going Up to 5$ in the next days and this should be not the end of the upward movement.

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / My new bitcoin world ;-) ... on: November 10, 2011, 08:47:22 PM
Before I know the bitcoin I did speculate with stocks, commodities and more but the bitcoin changed my thinking about money, speculation and capital values.

Sure it´s now very hard to believe that the bitcoin is more than an object for speculation.
Sure a lot of guys speculate with the bitcoin and want to make real money with it.
Sure the pricechart don´t trustful.
Sure a lot of bitcoins are owned by less guys the first adopters.

But I believe in bitcoin and I see the bitcoin as THE new innovation for the next years and it is for me a chance to make it better than the current fiat money system.

In other side I know that the most people are not ready for a new system and a lot of people see in the money your chance to win authority against other people and find your big luck in it.

My new bitcoin world is a vision of a free world there money like the bitcoin is free but don´t have the big weight as today.
In my vision some financial services like paypall, Dwolla, Moneybookers, VISA and more will become needless and the people need only a small client app for payments and people prefer to invest in bitcoins than speculate.

I know that my visions are unreal and maybe impossible but the bitcoin is more than a alternative currency for me it is a investment in a better future without the dominating authority of less people banks and financial companies.

I know the bitcoin isn´t a perfect system and after the bitcoin another moneysystem will come but for the next 20 years it should be the right system.

Is it not time to ends the speculations and invest in bitcoin?

9  Local / Suche / Suche Bitcoins?? on: October 28, 2011, 11:53:44 PM

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin is blowing UP, please stop it! on: October 26, 2011, 08:21:40 AM
The bitcoin idea is great and it could be an alternative to the current fiat money system.

But since the big rally to the 30$ the bitcoin is loosing their identity and becomes more and more to a similar system as fiat money with all if the weakness.

At first the amount of bitcoins is exploding like the fiat money because there were born a lot of similar bitcoin-currencies for example Ixoin, Litecoin, Solidcoin and more. This movement will damage the bitcoin because the amount will increasy quickly and the new user of bitcoin will confused more and more. And by the way the bitcoin to understand is difficult enough and the difference between the bitcoin and other coins are really too much!

Then the next thing is that the bitcoin becomes more and more to an financial object with funds, derivates, options and margin trading but want we a virtual financial bitcoinmarket like the current market?
Want we that more derivates, funds and options will trade than the bitcoin self? Because this will be the result of the derivates and i don´t believe that the new bitcoin users will hedge their bitcoins to stabilize the volatility, see the fiat money system.

Please STOP the other similar bitcoin-currencies and buy only the bitcoin!
Please STOP the derivates and don´t create a virtual financial bitmarket that nobody need who want a real alternative currency.
Please protect the identity of the bitcoin and the good ideas to make a REAL alternative currency and not to an imaginery currency.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / bitcoin goes commercial... on: October 19, 2011, 02:59:24 PM
I like the bitcoin and i like the independence of banks and the open source character.

But in the last weeks with the rally and the media hype i have seen another commercial side of bitcoin.

For example there are a mtGox which cashier a higher transaction fee than some brokers and mtGox goes more and more to an institution like a classic broker.
Who needs Options?
Who needs margin trading?
The winner of such things are everytime the bank self because in every trade the customer will pay the spread. I really dont like that!

I would prefer a exchange without a fee or with a voluntarily fee.
I would prefer a open source thinking and donation instead of fixed fees.

If the commercializing of bitcoin will continue then i can go back to the euros or dollars then the bitcoin is not the way of the future.

12  Other / Beginners & Help / financial sector vs. bitcoin... on: July 13, 2011, 03:37:03 PM
I´ve read a very interesting posting in the mining community and i want to comment ist here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28438.0

In my opinion JP Morgan & Co. will invest a lot of money in bitcoins otherwise they will loose all her authority and will be needless.
Surely it will taken many years that the bitcoin could replace the dollar, euro, yen, ... but the banks will react long time before they will accept the existence of the bitcoin.

For us private users it is a very good chance to profit in this situation.

Furthermore the big debt in euro, dollar and yen could a lot of people move into the bitcoin to save their money and to kick the bad banks in her a** ;-)

I´m very optimistic that the bitcoin will conquer the world.
