3  Other / Off-topic / Desperate about vps and servers... on: December 03, 2021, 05:43:37 AM
Hi guys

I was at contabo, but performance is super terirble even though it has 1400 GB space...

Do you guys know about something?
I don't want umbrel or things running on raspberry, I need to have website with full node.

Thank you so much
4  Economy / Services / Bitcoin escrow promotion and proving it is worth something on: November 23, 2021, 02:06:03 PM
Hi guys,
Any ideas on how to promote Bitcoin escrow?
I am owner and co-dev of escrowedbitcoin.com (bitcoinescrow.cz - my native language version)

I really would like to fund better and faster server, because this one is not very good in long term, but it needs some transactions.
Running own node on server and I think it is very well secured and done.
I also think that fees are very low when I compare other escrows...

What do you think?
I would like to make it serious business and big player in Bitcoin space that people can trust and wont be scammed anymore (like me for so many times thats why I started this business in first place)
Many people used it so far and were happy, but need more users who try and then will never go change it!

Thanks for your ideas
5  Other / Off-topic / How darkmarket admins get caught on: October 27, 2021, 09:39:53 PM
Hi,
We had this discussion in Czech Bitcoin community about getting operators of darkmarkets.

What do you know about this?
How do fbi or other government agencies get these people?

We talked about
1) Bitcoin is pseudoanonymous and some companies business is to trace transactions
2) They can get to place where they host this darkmarket and find IPs or some data that can lead to find the admins
3) There was this guy who sent some profits to KYC exchange on his mothers account Grin
4) They have to use node for transactions so they can maybe traced by IP of node (but what if it is through TOR)

But what if they used only Monero and Zcash (or other privacy coins) or they use some mixer?
Are there other ways to get to them?

If I was wrong in something, please tell me.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Best thing you bought with Bitcoin? on: October 26, 2021, 03:39:44 PM
What was the best/most interesting thing you bought with Bitcoin, when, where you bought it and how many Bitcoins it did cost? Grin

I almost bought a desert eagle on some darkmarket for like 8 Bitcoins (around 6500 CZK by that time) but I decided not to buy it, because it maybe was scam and if not, then my mom would kill me with it, if she knew that I was big gun fan back then... Cheesy Cheesy
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Invest in Bitcoin only? on: October 26, 2021, 01:47:13 PM
What else do you invest in?  Huh
It is good to diversify portfolio so I am looking for inspiration

What do you think?
Is there something interesting coming?
8  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Lightning network forever address and invoice amount on: October 25, 2021, 11:01:13 PM
Hi,
I have some questions that are stuck in my head and I am not sure about it...

Are Lightning invoices->addresses permanent?
And is invoice amount important?

For example if in Blue wallet I will generate invoice for 1$ (you must fill some amount of invoice) and it will give me address...
Can I receive satoshis forever and in any amount?
Can I generate somewhere address without amount? (Just clear lightning wallet address and I don't mean refill address BECH32)

How would you for example withdraw Lightning Bitcoin from some payment gateway?
I am afraid that their automate system will not send amount I should get (for ex 2$) but the amount from generated invoice.
How does this automatic system works?
How will they open channel or connect with me?

Sorry for (maybe) dumb questions but I am not Lightning network pro (yet  Cool Grin )
I wanted to find some dev here who would help me with project and would help to understand some things but sadly I was unsuccessful...  Embarrassed

Thank you very much
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / NFT on Bitcointalk on: October 25, 2021, 04:48:29 AM
Hi,

Do you think it would be good idea to add NFT under Alternate cryptocurrencies?
I know it may not be the big thing for Bitcoin people here, but I think it may draw more attention to Bitcoin and Bitcointalk which can bring something positive.
I also was skeptical about NFT, but I had some extra solana and tried to buy some  Cheesy

I will be happy if you share your collection and what do you prefer if ethereum, solana or other based NFT?

What do you think about NFTs in general?
10  Economy / Services / Lightning network dev on: October 25, 2021, 01:11:41 AM

Is there somebody who can code (php + laravel) and also is pro with Lightning network?  Cool

Thank you Smiley
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Do you pay with crypto??? on: October 19, 2021, 02:45:55 PM
I am interested what do you guys use for payments.

I like Litecoin paying the most (superfast and supercheap) but I am not afraid to pay with Bitcoin.

Doing this little research because I am preparing project
I will appreciate honest answers and comments

Thank you
12  Economy / Service Announcements / Anonymous Bitcoin escrow with reasonable fee on: October 19, 2021, 04:07:55 AM
Hello guys,
I would like to introduce new service I created some time ago, because of me personally lacking non-scam, serious, anonymous, free to start, no keep balance, straight solution escrow service with some reasonable fee.

Honestly, I was scared to share with you here, because I appreciate this serious community and don't want to mess up my reputation and name, but I told to my self let's give it a shot, I am trying to do something useful, operating it with my company and did my best to make it as perfect as possible (over 400 test transactions and did my best to come up with good and useful features and functions)...

It already has some success in my measure and beginning expectations (40 transactions and I think also some review)

BTC FEATURES BTC
- Anonymous (you can access with any IP, not blocking any and you can use any email of your choice you have access to)
- No account needed
- Low amount to start escrow (0.000333 BTC)
- Review system (thumbs up, thumbs down)
- Automated process
- Straight solution
- Encrypted and secure
- By default operates with BECH32 (useful when funding Lightning wallet) but supports all addresses
- No balance needed
- FREE escrow start (some escrow services has this balance shit or you have to pay fee in advance in order to start it)
- Dispute system
- Time frame system
- You can start escrow as a seller or as a buyer
- Who will pay fee choice (buyer, seller or both 50-50)
- Fee is 0.8% + 2$ (I did research and I saw 1% on very few escrow services, but mostly 3,5%+ and some with fixed fee of 40$+ and some 10%+)
- Fiat currency, so you can see value of Bitcoin when starting escrow (EUR, USD, CZK)
- It has been translated to English, German and Czech (if you miss some language, let's cooperate and bring this to your country too and I will reward you with some satoshis Smiley )

BTC CHECK IT OUT BTC
https://escrowedbitcoin.com/ (or alias which set website to Czech and CZK bitcoinescrow.cz)

BTC GOALS BTC
I hope I can make this useful tool everybody will think of, when they will ever need good escrow service.
I would be very happy if there will be at least 30-50 transactions per month, because such server run node (which I do for the escrow) and it is very expensive and I would like to innovate and go further (for example upgrade server, because sometimes it is slow and I want customers to have the best experience and deliver perfect performance).
I would be happiest person if I will earn something extra to spend or hodl rather than big earnings but bad reviews and unsatisfied customers.
It will be nice to have this business runing as long as possible rather than few months and let it die, because I think technologically it is very nice solution.
I thought about making something more "Lightning", but let's talk about this in the bottom.

BTC COMPANY BTC
Company I fully own and operate with is pretty new, but I wanted to legally run my businesses and show I am real person.
BITCOIN s.r.o.
ID 11881101
Official ministry of justice company listing website with my company profile
https://or.justice.cz/ias/ui/rejstrik-firma.vysledky?subjektId=1134780&typ=PLATNY
I know there were many scams even though it was operated by company (for example one particular I was complaining on bitcointalk about- freedogeon.com but you can bet that nothing helps you in Czech Republic when you are scammer (unless you will go to politics Cheesy ))

I will appreciate any feedback, constructive criticism and maybe tips to make this escrow service serious and useful to as many people as possible.
I would be happy if you share your experience with me and if you have some question or something, you can contact me here (newbies messages allowed) or kevin@escrowedbitcoin.com

BTC LIGHTNING BTC
I was thinking about making Bitcoin Lightning escrow (also bought domain for it- bitcoinlightningescrow.com) and made it but I wasn't able to make it run perfectly...
I am new to lightning and I am not sure exactly how it works in depth, so invoice generating was ok, but opening channels when I tried to pay with electrum or blue wallet didn't work and I gave up then to pay all my attention and efforts at least to normal Bitcoin escrow.
And if there is some good dev, we can cooperate somehow, I would be very happy to support or start new technology and new idea, because I bet lightning escrow has big potential and I didn't see any so far...

Have a nice and successful day (and don't roast me or eat me alive  Grin )
13  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Bitcoin RPC API - other address type support on: October 18, 2021, 06:19:32 PM
Hi,

Does Bitcoin RPC support all address types when withdrawing?

I am just asking to be sure I did over 400 transactions, but better to ask if somebody has some experience with it.

Thank you
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Do you spend your Bitcoin? on: October 18, 2021, 08:18:21 AM
Do you spend your Bitcoins or just hodl?

If you spend
What for and do you miss something that cannot be bought for Bitcoin yet?

If you hodl
For how long and why don't you spend?
Do you have exit strategy or you will spend it after you can buy your desired thing?
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Do darkmarkets use node? RPC API question on: October 16, 2021, 09:49:53 PM
Hello guys,

I was just thinking about controlling BTC transactions on own server/website (deposits/withdrawals + generating addresses etc)
I know best (and only one I know) way is to have own node RPC API, but what if there will be time in future where blockchain will have for ex. 100TB, there is no chance to have it on my own.

So my question is:
Is there a way to replace RPC API with something lightweight to make all types of transactions and things that comes with RPC API?

Because VPS servers are causing problems (500 internal server) and are slow and dedicated server is very expensive.
So I would be happy to find some solution...

When I was thinking about this problematic one thing popped up in my head- how darkmarket works in this point of view?
Do they also have nodes or they found a way to manage transactions, generating addresses, managing escrows etc?

Disclaimer: I am not involved in any darkmarket or illegal activity you would help me with if you will give me advice.
Disclaimer n2: You think: Oh yeah that is what darkmarket owner would have said... But trust me I need it for my own business Smiley Smiley

Thank you

17  Economy / Scam Accusations / SCAM legal action - freedogeon.com on: October 11, 2021, 08:47:35 PM
Hi,
Is there somebody who lost his funds on freedogeon.com?
If so, let's start legal action.
I have a lawyer (also crypto fan) who also lost something there and would be perfect if there will be more of us.

Please share here your experiences and some informations you gathered.

Website was operated by company FREEDOGEON LTD.
https://www.dnb.com/business-directory/company-profiles.freedogeon_ltd.478f0636c82e0a7140f0d57b756207d0.html

Director Luka Pearson born 1983
By the skills I suspect this mf to be behind freedogeon ponzi scam:
https://www.linkedin.com/in/luke-pearson-73a632182/?originalSubdomain=nl
But that is "Luke" not "Luka" and looks a bit younger than 1983 born...

Have you guys have anything that would help to get something back?
Have you got some links where can this be reported in UK in addition to legal action?
18  Economy / Scam Accusations / Scam QR API bitcoinqrcodemaker.com on: October 07, 2021, 10:31:43 AM
Hello,
I would like to warn you on scam qr code generator API

It generates different address than it is supposed to.
Here is my transaction with this qr... Wonder when they transfer it.
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/bc1qu649ujp32tsaklnqzgdqh9ztrcrnw8zkds9du0

They don't answer emails or anything.
BEWARE and always check more times that address is correct!
Look at the scammers here:
bitcoinqrcodemaker.com

Wonder if we can do more, because this scam works for years now and still trapping many people (including me *sad evil laugh*)
